I was diagnosed 2015. Although the Dr who did the procedure left, I was still treated with kit gloves by the doc who took his place. I never felt 2nd rate although my first one left. Great place. Nice people from front desk, pharmacy, to the 4th floor. this can be scary but they were very respectful. thank you.

The facility is nice and parking is ample; but the service was terrible! I had a 3:30 appointment with the doctor in orthopedics and after waiting over an hour to be seen, I decided to leave the get the charges for an office visit reversed. I do expect some wait when I have a doctor's appointment, but a wait of over one hour is not reasonable. The waiting room was not crowded and there did not appear to be any reasonable explanation for such a wait. This was not an emergency room or urgent care. I will definitely not return to orthopedics at this facility.

I ve been here four times for urology appointments and Mohs surgery. I babe always been treated with the utmost respect. I have always been seen promptly. Everyone, from the receptionists to the surgeons, have been incredible. Parking is never a problem. And the facility is great.

We had an excellent experience at this Kaiser location today! We were greeted by a smiling polite lady at reception who checked us in and directed us to our appointment in dermatology. We had arrived early to the appointment and were taken back quickly by a very friendly nurse who said said she had been with Kaiser for over 30 years! My husbands dermatologist Dr. Benabio greeted us early as well and was professional, personable and thorough. This facility is modern, immaculate and lovely. Even the pharmacy was quick and very helpful and polite with our prescriptions and instructions. We were in-and-out of this appointment quicky and efficiently and treated with courtesy the entire time. What a great way to start the day!

I luv this place so much I come here every chance I get, "GOTTA STAY HEALTHY YA KNOW". Once Kaiser has got ya into the system they got'ya for life hooked up like a fish lookin' for bait. Love the prescription area to so much to choose from & parking is so easy ta find too, can't wait to go to the new super max hospital on the corner of Ruffin & Clairmont. It'sa so Kaiser'ish in color..... I think it's called K. P. Blue & K. P. White..

The Garfield Specialty Center Kaiser Permanente is a fantastic location due to its cleanliness and safety. The security here is friendly and helpful and always willing to help. I have brought my wife and mother to this location many times and I have never had any issues or complaints about this location its practices or its employees. Overall it's very clean and safe. I recommend this location for anyone looking for quality Health Care.

My foot Dr. wasn't very positive about my excersises and the self therapy I've been doing to alleviate my bunion problem...i told him about my history with skateboarding and surfing and the toll it took on my feet....he said it was genetics....really? ....he never moved my toe or feet to see the range of motion etc...no too happy with the visit. On top of it...it cost 30$ for 3 Xrays...

The GI area is 5 stars. Dr Chen is great. He was caring, listened and suggested a bunch of stuff. So no complaints there. It s the laboratory department. Usually they (or at least the one in Carmel Valley) are very good. But these people... I sat and waited 30 minutes for them to call my number to pick up some stool kit 1/30 at 4-ish. Seriously!! That should take like no more then 10 minutes. At 30 minutes I was so frustrated and open the entrance to the lab and saw NO ONE. Not even a staff! I was like I m waiting for NO ONE to call my number! Then at 35 minutes I got so frustrated and open the door again and was like Hello?! Is anyone working?! And in the back I hear the 2 staff talking and giggling like nobody was important, they heard me and said we re busy right now and will be with you... yeah. A minute later they come and decided to work and called my number. The female staff was not friendly, and her male supervisor was just as uncaring as her. No apology for the abnormally long wait. Nothing. They don t care about anybody s time. Picking up a stool kit shouldn t take a total of 40 minutes when you are the only patient in the lab. Horrible. I will not come back to this particular Kaiser. They should really care about customer service and wait times, like Scripps. Scripps has a rule of not waiting for more than 15 minutes. It s no wonder everyone hates Kaiser. I should have listened to my coworkers and chosen the other health provider option. I will probably switch health insurance when it s time to reselect. And sad thing is nothing will happen to those lazy employees, they will probably get promoted.

It's a little unfair I gave it one star. Sorry employees of Kaiser. It's not your fault you work at Kaiser. We all need a job. I must say the employees are the best thing about this particular Kaiser. I just never cared about their insurance and their recactive medicine. Kaiser will help you at end of life stuff pretty well; that is if you have someone to take you there, wheel you around and take you home again. Thank you for making my friend more comfortable getting the bilirubin drained from his belly every few days before he passed.
