I had a really great experience anytime I saw Dr. Mahsa Parviz and the plastic surgery team here and at her other private office. The Kaiser pharmacy isn t the best (so slow and overpriced) but I was lucky enough to have everything delivered directly to me with a private distributor that works with Dr. Parviz s offices. I ve been cancer-free for over a year and half thanks to Dr. Parviz and my implants look amazing!

Doctors and nurses take good care of you. I had an emergency surgery. I could say this hospital cares and gets to the button of the problem .Blessed by all the Doctors and nurses who took good care of me they made sure I felt better before letting me go home. Doctors and nurses that are passionate for what they do makes a difference and make this world a better place for people that come with any type of sickness. Thank you!

Trying to reach a human during the weekend is impossible. Why would I want to belong to a hospital that doesn't want me to talk to them??? Trying to get my roommate in their emergency ward; no phone number available!

Was taken to the emergency and I was not from the CA area. Going to Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center was very pleasant. Dr. Ng and the nursing staff in Emergency were all so nice and made me feel comfortable.

I guess any hospital could get a bad review, as people's lives are in their hands. I have been in many hospitals, as I was not exactly the most careful person for most of my life. Normally, I just used emergency medical to cover the cost. I normally only have to go to the ICU every three or four years. I have come to learn that all of the hospitals are pretty much the same. I guess the real question is how do you plan to pay for your stay? My suggestion is do what is financially best for you, and if you can not decide then you better just let the paramedics take you to the closest hospital and pray that you make it to see the negative sides of a hospital. I do not care how the hospital lacks as long as I am still alive to write a review. Therefore, I give all hospitals a 5 that I have stayed at this far. They are not vacation resorts, instead they are their to do a job, and that job is to save your life at all cost. Sometimes this is not true for everyone, but if this is the closest hospital that your insurance provides for you, I suggest you take both the good and the bad. I am sure you can pick a hospital in Santa Monica or something, but you have to hope that you can make it there. Ambulance drivers will only transport you so far in an emergency. I suggest that you get to know the closest hospitals within your network and just go to that one. If you cant chose just let them take you wherever and just hope you qualify for emergency medical. In all honesty LA County has the best doctors because they have every type of doctor on staff at a given moment, but the conditions are worst. Each hospital has its pros and cons.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They charge cancer patients for parking unless they are receiving radiation. The only Kaiser in LA that charges for parking. If people are dying from cancer, the least that they should have to worry about is parking. Shameful.

The hospital staff was great except for hospital security guards and parking lot attendants totally clueless. No straight answers, bad answers, or wrong information or I should say misleading.

Just visited the cafeteria during the evening hours. While I appreciate the idea of all I want for my birthday is a big bootie hoe I feel that it s not really appropriate for a hospital cafeteria. That s not even the worst song I ve heard there. Some being played over the loud speakers. You can do better LAMC.

All Kaiser cares about is money, they have no concern for the quality of care given to their patients. Very poor service. I am treated like livestock every time I need to see a physician, if I can even get an appointment without 3 weeks prior request. Several times member services has promised me services were covered in my plan, only to be billed for them later. If it wasn't such a pain in the ass to find a better provider, I would have done it immediately. After three years of being treated terribly, I am finally switching my insurance provider.

Parking for patients/visitors are too expensive. Taking advantage on people who need car. We paid $24 for parking there twice in 24 hours.

After spending most of my life suffering from a mystery disease that none of my previous providers found (or even believed was real) Kaiser found it in less than a year and has done a great job of treating it. I had brain and spine surgery at LAMC, and my care was top notch. Way better than a surgery I had at Cedars Sinai! There are some bureaucratic hoops, but my insurance also costs half of what Anthem or Cigna did and I'm getting WAY better care.

Highly recommend for Spinal Treatment Center or Physical Therapy. Fair warning to those coming from outside the LA area, parking is not free inside the structures due arrive plenty early as they are older and parking is limited. Handi-capable people with placards may make use of placards using meters and available timed zones nearby outside, however. Excluding Wednesdays due to street sweeping. Plan accordingly.

I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in this hospital. I am very thankful for the amazing service. Every person involved in the delivery of my baby had great customer service skills. From security to the last nurse that took me to the car to be sure my baby and I were okay. They really take care of you. Thank you, keep up the good work.

This is my 3rd rendition of this review. I originally rated it 1-Star, then I upgraded it to 3-Stars, and now I am upgrading it once again to 5-Stars. My original 1-Star review almost entirely stemmed from the sheer frustration and heightened emotional state as a result of my wife being sick. But now that her and I have been in the hospital for over 1 day I've had time to clear my head and think rationally. Anyway, so here is my third and final (probably) review....
The first thing you will notice about this hospital is that it is located directly across the street from the Hollywood Scientology complex, which if you've seen the documentary "Going Clear" you'll find somewhat interesting.
Upon arrival I had a bit of trouble finding the parking structure but it's actually not that confusing, I'm just bad with directions. The structure is 5 floors and there is ample parking for short visits as well as extended stays. The only downside is that there is a parking fee after a certain amount of time. It's not crazy expensive, but it's still an annoying factor to have at a hospital.
The hospital itself is incredibly expansive. For someone like me who has a bad sense of direction it is very easy to get lost here. So I advise you know exactly where you're going and if you have friends/family visiting be very specific with your directions.
The facility itself is clean for the most part and seems technologically advanced. All the doctors that I have interacted with thus far have been polite, thorough, informative, and empathetic. In addition, most of the nurses that I have interacted with thus far have been amazing! There have been a few that seemed to be in bad moods, but I can't fault them for that at all. I can speak specifically about the Emergency Department and Telemetry Department staff , and all I can say is that I'm thoroughly impressed (huge shout out to nurses Evelyn and Gerald in 7 West Telemetry: you're rock stars! Seriously, you're amazing nurses and I thank you so much for everything you did!) The level of care my wife has experienced thus far being here has been phenomenal. Everyone from the Janitors to the CNAs to the nurses to the doctors have been literally amazing. I feel 100% confident in the care that my wife is receiving and trust wholeheartedly that she will be taken care of in the best way possible.
This Kaiser branch has won me over. I was tentative at first, but the facility as a whole has exceeded all of my expectations for what a hospital and patient care should be. I definitely recommend this hospital.

While the medical care may be fine, it's impossible to get through to a physicians office when you have questions and its $14.00 to park.
Living in Ventura County there also had to be closer options. Driving 2 hours for a doctor's appointment because they don't have the specialty closer is NOT good care.
