Too bad that not all dishes occurred at the same time, for the rest it was fantastic again.

Top restaurant, grandiose food, nice and nice staff. Fine quality price ratio.

Cozy restaurant, overall service still room for improvement eg operating speed or when we asked for a rag for the gluing table the service seemed annoyed. Food was pretty good. More child orientation would be nice, for example plates and cutlery, glasses for children or tidy or complete toys in the play area.

Tables were dirty, staff weren't very friendly, food was bland and we missed the lettuce ... and a cheesecake which wasn't cheesecake

As a result of my original review, the manager of Kade60 contacted me to discuss a few things. They were very shocked by my experience and could not recognize themselves in the story at all. Unfortunately because of the elapsed time it is no longer possible to find out who the waitress concerned was, but in all probability she would not work here anymore.

At the invitation of the manager, I ate here last September together with my girlfriend. The food was again excellent, but the service was very good this time. And not only to us by way of improvement; also to other guests was as guest friendly and well taken care of. Even in a packed restaurant (really all tables were full, a good sign!), The staff kept their heads cool and everyone was friendly and adequately served. Fortunately, there is no question of the situation described in the original review (anymore)!

By far the most miserable service I have experienced in a restaurant. A while ago we arrived at Kade60 with a group of 8 people to eat something after arriving on the mainland from Texel. The menu and atmosphere looked great and the dishes of the other guests were neat. When we went to order, we unfortunately got the most miserable cunts they had in their workforce. Allergies were rather funny about it and when 7 out of 8 people indicated fries with their dish (of around 25 euro p.p. average) you would expect that there are also a number of fries on the table were put. However 1 (!) Small bowl of fries was placed on the table for 8 people; the same amount that a table of 2 got. When I approached the servant I got a big mouth back and I did not have to appoint myself like that; it was still the main course?

Eventually demanded that there would be just 7 trays of fries to be put down we got with lots of grumbling still 2 trays of fries. To prevent this mentally impaired babe from ruining our evening, we left it at that.

To our great surprise, however, the account neatly mentioned 2 "extra" boxes of French fries. When I indicated that we are not going to pay the bill if it is not right, the staff present threatened the police. In the end, the chef came out of the kitchen to calm his mood and he also took the drink from the bill.

Very sorry all; the food itself was delicious. However, the staff, and in particular the extremely unprofessional waitress, still made for a very disappointing experience. It has been several months since we have been here; the Kenau in question has now been dismissed with some luck. However, I would not gamble on it and just leave this toko left.

On a Saturday evening with 10 people eaten including 4 small children. There is no more play corner that is still mentioned on the website. We started with a board with different snacks. Well-kept main courses, sometimes a little flat. Risotto was too sticky. Creme brulee was delicious ,. In short, delicious eaten. Acoustics may be better, especially when it is busy.

Nice hip tent that was open on New Year's Day! Different corners to also be more private. Also large tables for groups. Cappuccino and tea were fine. From station great to walk in about 15 minutes, paid parking nearby. Near boat to Texel.

After a day on Texel, I wanted to eat something quickly with my 2 daughters before we started the long journey back home. We were helped very quickly when I mentioned this by the friendly waitresses. The portions of the evening menu were a bit too large for us, we were even allowed to choose from the lunch menu and everything was prepared especially for us. The quality was very good. And when one of the girls did not find her present when choosing a present, a suitable one was found behind it. Really great!

We went to dinner with friends from Portugal on Friday, March 24, 2017 and we can really say it was fantastic. The ambiance the service was perfect. The food was out of the art. Certainly worth repeating. It was also the first time for us at quay 60, but we will return more often now. Thanks again and see you soon.

Carpaccio sandwich was not on fresh bread. It was even dry and a regular sandwich. Don't come back for lunch.

Cozy restaurant with an open kitchen. Seat with fireplace and a bar. Food quite a bit less than tasty as a few years ago. Enough choice on the menu.

The table was sticky and dirty on arrival .... When I asked that they wiped again, the waitress first said that the table is old and therefore looks like this . She came with a rag and lo and behold, everything went away !! The food came and I opened the packet of butter. The butter was completely liquid and dripped everywhere ... Table, pants, floor ... I informed them, got butter (this time chilled) and a damp towel. No apology, no courtesy, just the note that there is a phone number on the invoice where I can complain and if necessary, submit the cleaning bill! Who should send the invoice from Germany to Holland ???? Service not good, but the 4 different meals were delicious !!!! What a shame....

We enjoyed ourselves again, great service and very hospitable. Definitely a must.

Delicious fricandeau sandwich with satay and a glass of mint tea drunk

After more than a year I stopped by again after a bad hamburger.
Still not enthusiastic. Menu of the day ordered: starter leek soup, main dish fried gurnard. Leek soup was decent, slightly corny. The gurnard was well prepared, but unfortunately on a bed with overcooked, soggy vegetables, with unappetizing fried potatoes (seemed to have been reheated a few times). The bowl of coleslaw was a miss with the fish. More something with a hamburger, but even with a suitable dressing ......
When I am back in Den Helder I try another restaurant.

Delicious eaten! When we called and said we would arrive late, this was no problem at all. Service was friendly, quick and fun with the kids. A special corner for the children and a nice toy to take with you at the end made it special for the children.

Certainly capable of improvement. Taken by my family for dinner and 7 out of 10 dishes were not to write home, so we also sent it back to the kitchen. This was also unsuccessful afterwards because it was told that it was unfortunately peanut butter with the scampi that the intestinal tract is simply standard from the supplier. Then you wonder, of course; Is it up to the supplier or the laxity of the chef? Then you order 200 g steak as main course (I think it was pulled pork.) I don't know if they have a scales, but 200 g is different from the pathetic piece of meat that I got twice dry, well done and full of tendons . If I were to serve this guest I would never have dared to call it steak but the remains of the slaughterhouse. Even the gourmet dish of the Vomar has better steak in the assoritment. Furthermore, no complaints about the establishment except for the wait staff who did not know what was on the menu and apparently a tournedos is nowadays called Tornados. I thought Katrina was going to make a comeback. Fortunately it was about meat. Unfortunately I did not dare to order dessert anymore. To make a good story short: nice try, next time I will stay in my own city.

I really want to give five stars, I really do. I can't.

The location is excellent. The building itself and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cool, very attractive. The selection of food and drink is very good, the open kitchen is a plus. Good kids menu.

The problem is, that the friendliness of the service simply cannot compensate for the fact that we were seated at 1800 (restaurant half full, service staff in full force) and our food only arrived at 2000.

I'm sorry, there is just no way to explain two hours. Kitchen staff (open kitchen) was not overworked. Service staff was not overworked. It is clearly not a priority in this place that anyone gets served in a timely manner.
I'm taking TWO stars off for this, because it is so egregious. I like literally everything else about this place.
