Excellent service. David came out to PPL motorhomes to do an on-site pre-purchase inspection of a diesel motorhome. He did a very thorough job and gave me a lot of peace of mind about my purchase. I would use him again.

Super friendly staff. everyone from the owner to the technicians really go above and beyond to make things go as smoothly as possible and actually care about the cars.

I think this place has gotten to big and service has changed

I called Rick on Wednesday letting him know my order of tires was coming into the shop for them to install on my truck. I showed up Thursday without an appointment and unfortunately they couldn't fit me into the schedule but Rick very graciously set me up for an appointment the following Tuesday. A little while later, I realized I could catch a ride to work on Friday and my roommate could take my truck into the shop instead, I called Rick up and he told me that would work just fine and happily penciled me in on short notice for that Friday morning.

My roommate took the truck in and was greeted very cheerfully by Rick and the staff, he immediately knew it was my truck that was to have the tires installed and told her it would just be about an hour or two for the install. They were super nice to her and even offered her a cupcake (definitely solidifying the experience for her) while she waited. The tires were installed perfectly and they are riding suuuuuper nice. I would absolutely trust them with my truck again if need be!

New customer for life! My husband and I experienced such amazing customer service from Kacal s and more specifically from Mr. Rick. We asked Kacal s to perform a Pre Buyer s Inspection on a dump truck that we anticipated buying. I called to make the appointment and Mr. Rick was eager to assist. The truck was brought in that morning and the inspection was completed by that afternoon. His staff did an excellent and thorough job in diagnosing some issues. Because of the thorough assessment, I was able to have those issues fixed before purchasing the truck. The cost of the inspection was very reasonable and Mr. Rick was always available for questions or concerns throughout the process. I can t say enough good things about this company, but I ll end by saying that you won t find a more honest and reliable automotive and maintenance repair shop anywhere else. Took my car in because my engine light came on. They said it was my catalic converter, my car is only 5 yrs old. I let them change it and 1 week later another sensor went off. Come to find out the oxygen sensor needed to be changed. From the beginning it was the oxygen sensor. I had them change the oxygen sensor, I go to pick up my car and the drivers window wouldn't roll up. When I left my car the window worked perfectly. Miguel claimed it wasn't them but yet it wasn't broke when I left it.When I brought it to Miguel's attention he tried to fix it with his hand but that just made it worse. Miguel didn't admit that his mechanics and himself cause the window to break. So I had to pay them to fix it. And after all that they didnt even reset the diagnostic system. Miguel told me to go to Auto Zone and have them do it. After spending over 1300 that's the service I get. I will definitely let all my friends and family know how shady this company is. Look for this review on my Facebook page as well as Yelp.

This company has not only earned my respect but our companies business. Kacal s went above and beyond to get my driver back on the road when we left in OS with a load to deliver. I highly recommend this company as you will not be disappointed! Thanks!

The moment I stepped into the door, the staff is always smiling. When i first had a problem and noticed there name among the service provider....I did NOT hesitate. I knew exactly where i could good great service and an explanation of the services. I am a FOREVER customer.

Great professional staff and work! KaCal was able to troubleshoot the problem and now my issue has been resolved. They have great prices (nearly half of what the dealership would charge).

Been up to this shop multiple times. Their shop was recommended by other shops. I was told they were trustworthy and great mechanics. Everything I heard turned out to be true. I was very happy with the work they have done. Each time fixing the issues. Great customer service. I recommend this shop to anyone with any mechanics needs.

Kept my car for more than 7 days, never communicated any information about my car, I had to call them every time. Didnt even get it diagnosed in the 7 days. Not helpful at all. Said they would call me back and never did. Very unprofessional

This repair shop does a lot of work for UofH. I feel confident that they do a good job to handle UofH vehicles. They shown a personal professional interest in my safety on the road, available for unexpected concerns/consultations and aware of my safety needs as an older woman driver.

Miguel, Matt, & The Owner, Mike Deliver Fantastic Service, Price and above all Honest Auto Repair Shop. I tend not to over endorse businesses - Kacal's Auto & Truck Repair is defiantly worthy of a 5 star review. I knew exactly what my vehicle needed and I was not oversold on additional maintenance and they were significantly cheaper than alternative auto repair shops. Don't think twice about trusting them. Service was Quick And Easy! They're great to work with and will provide phone call updates along the way if necessary.

Absolutely awesome. I was able to get in the same day to have my transmission serviced and the bulbs replaced on the third brake light. The staff was professional and the service was quicker than expected plus the price was reasonable and the work guaranteed. I am a customer for life.

Kacal's is great they took care of my concerns. They we're customer orientated and service minded. Miguel was great.

Kacal's was friendly and efficient. We took our 2005 van in for an overview after hitting 100K+ miles. They identified things to keep an eye on and as the van had no issues, we received no charge.

Came for an inspection, which was done quickly. And the manager who worked me into the schedule was friendly. Will definitely come back.

My personal mechanic did some work on my car after it took on some issues i cant explain. He changed some spark plugs this shop used which were said to have been cheap grade and really not even for my type of car. We went in and they were nice site looks good but wanted to charge $130 for a free diagnosis. I have lost all hope In mechanic shops. I feel like they are all shade tree frauds. Its a gamble if you ask me.

They come off as very helpful people. But definitely took advantage of me. I went because my car was over heating and I'm a college student, and it was the only place I knew at the time. They told me I needed a brand new radiator and thermostat. They replaced my radiator and thermostat, and 3 days later my engine light comes on and I was told by Auto Zone when they ran the test that I didn't have coolant in my car. Which was weird because I just got a new Raditor. Took it back to RICK. My dad and I both spoke with him agian, and he said my car was running hot again because my water pump has an hole in it, and I need a new one. Which was weird because he failed to mentioned that the first time, and I don't understand how something like that is over looked. Because that can DAMAGED YOUR engine. Went to TWO other mechanics to find out, that my water pump did not have an whole in it. My car was running hot because they did not put any coolant or water in my car!! Which blew my mind, because he mentioned neither of those things. I suggest that you guys do not go there, especially if your in college. They will do anything to your car, for you to come back. And Rick and his mechanics are not to be trusted.

Had a great experience with Brane, who went above and beyond to provide the absolute best customer service! I was unable to make their client/employee appreciation lunch this month, so Mike Kacal and Brane took it upon themselves to take me out to lunch. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending everyone I can to come here

Great place, got my car inspected. Was very fast and friendly. Price was very fair as well (compared the the other shops in Houston). Will definitely go back to this shop.

Rick and all the staff are Wonderful! After a very scary situation with my car stalling in route to a Dr. appt for by mother, from the moment we arrived at Kacal s we were greets with the warmth and assurance that all would be taken care of. The work on my car was completed within a few hours and I could not be any happier I give Kacal s 10 stars

I m not understanding how they were able to fix my car without checking, and now my car is running hot, I picked up my car an hour ago, and they telling me it s $200 to check, when I just picked it up, I will not be using your services again

I got there for inspection and to check my tire. It was SUPER fast, like 10mins! The service was great, they are really really friendly!

The staff and Technician Rey were tremendous with their service. I ll recommend anyone to have their repairs done at this company.

I had my regen system on my 18 wheeler repaired. The job was done correctly and my truck is running like new. Very professional staff. My only complaint is the time it took for the repair. I was down for three weeks. They had to troubleshoot it but should not have taken that long. I will use them again because of the quality of work but I will have to get some assurances about the time the job will take. Great company overall.

Always the best and truly honest service I've always trusted.

I brought my car in on a Friday morning at 7am. I work in the area but do not live in the area and could not drive my car home. They got me in right away and within a few hours my car was fixed and i was in my way home. They were gracious enough to squeeze me in, which saved me money in car rental fees plus uber fees home. They told me what they tbought the problem may be and were correct. Very satisfied with this place. One negative is the waiting room chairs are very uncomfortable and since i was there for a few hours it took its toll. Not a big deal but felt necessary ok mention.. i will be back

What to give them 0 stars! Had a very bad experience with this shop. Set up an appointment online for truck repair. But this guys ABSOLUTELY don't care about the appointments. Even though I set up an appointment, I spent two days on the parking lot and they didn't touch my truck at all. Appointment means to get a service when you arrived, but not for this place. You can stay in the line for a week or longer! Don't spend your time over here, try to find another shop! And they don't have a parking for trailer, so you need to pay for parking somewhere else like a Pilot.

This is a great place to get your light - medium - heavy duty truck repaired!
I own small moving company, and do all my fleet maintenence at Kacal's, always been treated with respect, professionalism and the fastest service available.
Mike, the owner, is an honest business man who will always strive to make you a satisfied returning customer, and with fair affordable prices... this is your best bet for your truck!

Everyone at Kacal's is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Rick Ortiz in particular did a remarkable job. He found the part I needed at a good price, called me to schedule the repair for the next day, honored the time frames he promised, and within 24 hours the problem was solved! It's great having an auto repair shop you can trust, and Kacal's has become that place for me.

Extremely experienced and courteous people, the prices aren't cheap ($120 an hour for labor) because you pay for experienced mechanics that do it right, fast and go above and beyond.

They fixed my car's loose right shock in little time (required a total replacement of the proprietary bolts which they didn't charge me for) and provide a check of any other things that could go wrong without trying to sell you snake oil.

All around great shop, deserves the price paid.

Terrible always trying to replace something that doesn't need to or they said they did something and it wasn't done. So I took my truck to the dealer instead and then he told me it has never been changed. Don't go here.

My window was stuck down right before a tropical storm. They were able to repair it quickly at a reasonable price. I appreciated that they gave me a ride to and from my home. That was a huge plus. They were kind and respectful.

Took my truck to kacals a while ago, 2004 sequoia white, it s been taken care of by this shop it s entire life when I owned it, I was having misfire trouble and a knock sensor issue, they then proceeded to charge 500 to change spark plugs, ik what a joke, then took off my exhaust, and said I needed a new cat (then proceeded to want 1000k to change the cat...I have extensive mechanical knowledge however I didn t have time to work on this issue so I thought i d take it to them...Fast foreword to a couple months ago, (just got around to it) I heard an exhaust leak which i ve heard since i received the car bad and didn t think much of it...I put the car on the lift and looked around with a flashlight...turns out they completely snapped 2/3 of the studs bolting the cat to my header, the truck has no rust and those studs are very very thick so how they could ve done that is beyond me, but nonetheless it happened, completely dissatisfied, none of my family will go here again, can t believe they didn t even tell me, the owner really should look into this...such an expensive job to fix the mistakes his mechanics thought they could cover up. I don t have the extra money to fix it either completely ridiculous...

Staff was very nice and greeted me as soon as i walked in the door they did a diagnosis on my truck they told me they would do it and call me as soon as they finished they did exactly what they said they would do and it was in a timely manner very professional and the staff seems to be very knowledgeable and knows what they're doing. They don't take shortcuts or cut corners. They don't lie to try to run you up a bill, very friendly pleasant place staff joking and laughing with each other good work environment.

I got back into town from vacation and started my car. Immediately I knew it didn't sound right. I thought I may be ok to drive to work but as I continued down the road the engine was hesitating and I feared I might stall out in the middle of the road. I called Kacal's and they told me to bring it in immediately. They provided a ride to work for me. Less than 24 hours later they had fixed my vehicle. They went over and above for me, allowing me to get to my job as well as getting my vehicle up and running in a timely manner. They are always polite and kind when I go to their shop. I would never take my car to any other shop. I can't say enough kind words about this family owned business.

I worked for Mike Kacal for almost 2 years, and I would recommend Kacal's to anyone who needs any kind of mechanical work. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very kind people, they emailed pictures of the issues they found with my vehicle, gave a clear quote, then called and gave me my options, no pressure. My 17 yr old vehicle runs like a dream.

They're the best at what they do and they listen to the customer and I feel comfortable talking with Rick or Miguel when I have problems!!!

You need to be bringing your vehicle here. Exactly what a service shop should be, hard to find. Switching from the dealership to here was a great decision... Saved money and don't have to deal with the lies and made up "needs" for your vehicle. They gave me a ride back to my shop for free, also. Will be returning with any kind of vehicle they'll work on!

I was leaving for a 2 hour drive out of town and my wheel started to make a scratching noise. They diagnosed the problem, contacted my warranty company, ordered my part, and fixed my issue all in the same day. Was awesome.

I am a woman who will not trust my beloved truck to ANYONE but Mike and Rick at Kacal s!! I am in Houston with my daughter who is waiting for a Lung Transplant. We are staying in Houston while she is listed and my truck decided it was time to mess up There were tons of logistics with a warranty I had from a business located in Florida and Mike and Rick were able to get it all figured out and helped to get my truck there as well as completely fix the issues I was having. Best communication I have EVER had with any auto repair service. I have an old 2001 F150 and to many that may not seem too important but I love my truck and they were so fair and honest and truly care. I don t know anyone in Houston and am always afraid of being ripped off but I can say with total confidence that Kacal s will never do that. They have been great to me and as long as I am in Houston, they will get ALL of my auto repair service needs. Real people with real hearts right there. I d give them 100 stars if I could!!
