Went down for an assessment day, was advised they'd let me know asap, followed up a week later as not heard anything, told GM would contact me by end of week but no-one did. Emailed again no response. Unprofessional HR team, time wasters.

Stopped at the Netherton Hall at Frodsham a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my wife. The food was very good and the portions were well-judged. Service came with a smile and the prices are very reasonable.

If the standard can be kept consistent it's a gem.

On 27th May at 12pm myself, my parents, wife and boys went to the Links in Llandudno for a meal. We were given the starters in good time but the mains took 1hr and 30mins to arrive. There were other people who came after us getting served quicker. We made an inquiry into delay and then a complaint when one of the orders was wrong. The general staff were very apologetic and Daniel in particular was very good with us. When Daniel offered free deserts he said the assistant manager would be over to apologise. The assistant manager came over with a face like thunder and not once did she apologise. When I requested we talk she dismissed me and said we'll talk later. I made a complaint to her boss, who I hope will be speaking to her assistant. Needless to say the assistant manager needs a lesson in customer service from her collegues. I would suggest Daniel is promoted to take her place. My parents have been to the Links a number of ocassions and said the assistant manager always seems to have a bad attitude. It's a pity because the food is good and the rest of the staff are good. Whilst there was a long delay with the food I would not have complained had the assistant manager apologised instead of giving us a stern angry look.

The quality of the beer is excellent as is the quality of the food in the pubs. I work at the brewery and witness the level of commitment and care that goes into producing top notch beer and providing great hospitality in the pubs, inns and hotels.

About JW Lees Brewery

JW Lees Brewery: A Legacy of Brewing Excellence

JW Lees Brewery is a family-owned brewery that has been crafting exceptional beers for over 190 years. The journey began in 1828 when our founder, retired cotton manufacturer, John Lees, decided to buy land at Middleton Junction and set up Greengate Brewery. Since then, the brewery has been passed down through six generations of the Lees family and has become one of the most respected breweries in the UK.

Our commitment to quality is evident in every aspect of our brewing process. We use only the finest ingredients and traditional brewing methods to create beers that are full-bodied, flavorful, and refreshing. Our range includes cask ales, bottled beers, kegged beers, and seasonal brews that cater to all tastes.

At JW Lees Brewery, we take pride in our heritage while embracing innovation. We have invested heavily in modern equipment and technology to ensure that we continue to produce high-quality beer while reducing our environmental impact. Our state-of-the-art brewhouse allows us to brew more efficiently without compromising on taste or quality.

We believe that great beer should be enjoyed by everyone which is why we have made it easy for customers across the UK to enjoy our products. Our online shop offers a wide range of bottled beers as well as gift packs which make perfect presents for any occasion.

In addition to producing exceptional beer, JW Lees Brewery also operates several pubs across Manchester and Cheshire where customers can enjoy a pint or two with friends or family. Each pub has its own unique character but all share a commitment to providing excellent service and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Our dedication to quality has not gone unnoticed; we have won numerous awards over the years including CAMRA's National Pub Company of the Year award twice (in 1995 & 2000) as well as being named Family Business of The Year at The North West Business Masters Awards (2019).

In conclusion, JW Lees Brewery is more than just a brewery; it's an institution with a rich history spanning almost two centuries. We are committed to producing high-quality beer using traditional methods while embracing innovation so that we can continue brewing great-tasting beer for generations to come. Whether you're looking for cask ale or bottled beer or want somewhere cozy where you can enjoy your favorite drink with friends - JW Lees Brewery has got you covered!
