Helpful in terms of the career support days offered once CompTIA A+ qualification is completed. Great tips for what to do during an interview and CV reviews, especially as you may not necessarily have the IT degree or IT experience.
I have long career gap on my CV.I went to Just IT and discussed with them about my career gap. They not only gave me the training but also gave me opportunity to gain some industry experience through their work placement program.

Went back to seek career advice after 4 years, and my old careers advisor was more than happy to fit me in for a couple of face to face meetings which were extremely helpful. Joined Just IT in January. Good place to kick start your career in just IT. I have a degree in IT but it is quite difficult to get into the IT industry. I done the course and passed the exams and started applying for jobs. I have manage to get my first job in IT by myself. They are very good to to train you and prepare you for interviews. But don't expect them to get you a job. This is on you. You need to learn and be ready for the market.

So I came to you guys months ago, you guys showed me your prices and courses. I turned them down because it seemed way too pricey. I emailed rick to let him know I won't be going ahead with the programme, never heard from him again once I turned him down. All shows that they just think about their commission. Firebrand have taken me on with no questions, and they've put me on an apprenticeship scheme which I haven't paid a single penny and I've learnt a lot in the past month. Don't get sucked into it, save your money and do some research before you get robbed by some company charging extortionate prices. Don't believe all the reviews you see, they've clearly just put all their good reviews up to make their company look good. Again this is my opinion, truth hurts.
As a career changer, Just IT has helped provide me with the knowledge to work in IT and ensured I had great opportunities to get into work. By the time I'd finished the course, I'd already had multiple places to choose from and several interviews lined up. They surpassed my expectations and is a great company to help kick start your career.
I have been searching for apprenticeships as a lvl 4 Software Developer since before Christmas, and have signed up with 4 other Apprentice recruiters across London. The recruiter that showed by far that most results via speed in communication and successfull company pairing, has been JustIT.
It started off well, with incredible assistance given from Prince as my documents were processed and my portfolio built. He has always been informative, and straightforward with what to expect, and most importantly never giving away empty promises.
Once I was successfully screened through and passed onto one of the senior Account managers, Bruce, I immediately had an interview lined up. And was prepped with great advice on how to behave and present myself during the 2 following interviews. The checkups on my progress in preperation helped calm my nerves and focus on the task at hand.
Amazingly, just 3 days after the intitial interview, I was given a final interview and then accepted!!!
The speed of the whole process blew me away. What especially helped was how easy it was to get a hold of both Prince and Bruce, and ask quesitons or get advice.
Unfortunately, I've had bad experiences with other recruiters where my application was either lost in the inbox, ignored, or their offices were near impossible to get a hold of. Meaning I was waisting time all the while great opportunities were dripping away, always out of reach.
The whole process was made extremely easy and straightforward. With all the legal information out of the way I'm on track to start my career in 1 week's time of that first interview!
