The Resorts is amazing, but unfortunately the servise is below average. The water villa is beautiful but you can see Mali in the long distance in many villas, and in other villas there is some sort of construction going on in the sea. So for some who are interested to see a clear horizon and skyline this might not be possible. Other than that the place is relaxing and nice. Water villa is specious with good privacy. It is nice for couples as well as families with children as the kids club here is nice and they provide the kids with different activities

Service is amazing. The hotel itself, however, really needs renovation. So-called "best restaurant in the Indian Ocean" (the French one) was really underwhelming. The Indian one was amazing though. Prices for food and services are outrageous - I can enjoy a 600$ meal only if it is really outstanding, but the quality of food (except the Indian one) was so-so... and it is so damn boring there - nothing to see or to do but snorkeling. So bring some cash if you're planning to go there! And there was an aggressive titan triggerfish living under our bungalow.

Fabulous stay at this hotel it was like being in a dream. We had amazing Honeymoon here.

Pure luxury. If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would as I cannot begin to explain how great our experience was. We arrived to be greeted by our personal attendant who got us checked in and upgraded our room to one of the water suites. The staff were extremely attentive and knew our names after the first day. The food and pastries were beyond anything we have had and they catered to our ever need. Even when we thought it could not get better they let us have a day room when our flight was later to relax and shower. The room that we stayed in was a palace on water and 100% worth the price. Would highly recommend this place to anyone (including families) headed to the country. Not a single complaint. Recommend you picking up your snorkel gear right away and checking out the stingray feeding at 530 each night.

Landed because Male airport was closed due to bad weather with 10 Veligandu guest. Staff of Jumeirah was top class with assisting our guest and the seaplane crew. A big applause for the water sports staff who came to the rescue with the speed boat in that rough condition. Thank You for the entire Team for the great hospitality.

Great resort with wide range of facilities & lovely staff, perfect for family holidays

It was the best trip!

I was healed by the service spirit and warm conversation of the multinational staff working on the island.

I immediately went on vacation and changed to a different person, but I felt lonely rather than anxious because I was so kind to me. How are you doing?

The house reef is also good and you can enjoy snorkeling right under the water villa. The squid swimming elegantly in the Indian Ocean is a unique sight in the Maldives.
Also, because the resort is a Dubai-capital resort, the rooms are very spacious and luxurious, and I feel a sense of luxury.

It's one of the best place in Maldives for honeymoon!

Amazing resort. Probably the best you can do if you don't want to take a seaplane, but stay close to Male. A 30 min ride on a luxurious yacht will take you to a well maintained, understated and friendly place. We got a 2 bedroom beach villa which is an excellent choice for families and right on the beach. The villa is clean and comfortable, with all the amenities and a great plunge pool. The food at Samsara is plentiful and diverse. Room service food bit of a hit and miss. All the staff is friendly and eager to please. It's expensive but that's generally true of the Maldives. Also, if you prefer not to see the city or anything else in the distance, go for a more remote island. We weren't bothered by it at all though.

The worst reservation experience ever, fisrt they will charge you 10000 USD on free cancellation reservation then if you canceled it will take you more than 60 days to get it back, 40 days and counting !!! Where is my money jumairah ?

Attention please all the visitors please try to visit this resort ever. Because they will treat you well.

Where do i start, this was the best holiday I've had ever, and i dont think anything will be able to top this unless i visit another island in Maldives.

We were welcomed like royalty and given introduction to the facilities, and immediately were knew this is going to one heck of a holiday.

We were there in time for Easter so the kids had a blast with the easter egg hunt. We could leave them with the kids club any time we wished, and they loved every minute of it.

The water sports was fun and snorkling was second to none.

Food in this place is ridiculously expensive, but of course part of the experience.

Sea Villa rooms were huge and TV Entertainment was fantastic.

i cannot say any word,need to stay and u will feel ......and enjoy....

Fabulous Resort that leaves no Luxury out. Perfect warm welcome at the airport, luxurious Speedboat to the Resort, wonderful welcome. Personal guide caring fabulously and expertly for all questions or wishes.The houses are first class, immaculately clean, wonderful infinity pool with a view. Maintenanced at least twice a day. Went Scuba diving mostly, otherwise would have tried out the white beaches, the fitness area, the SPA, or any of the multiple activities offered like fishing, exploring other Islands, Yachting, Sailing and much more. Quality Restaurants, tried the sea food grill with a good choice and the french Restaurant with premium menues. All in all this stay could not have been better!!

Our time in the Maldives was unforgettable. That said, we are unlikely to return to Jumeirah Vittaveli due to several issues that arose during our stay which created unnecessary stress.

Accommodations:
We booked the Private Ocean Retreat for our honeymoon. On our flight over, we were emailed that our room would not be ready as the delayed construction upgrades left them overbooked. This left us in the Two Bedroom Beach Villa for the first day with the promise we would be later moved into a Retreat furthest from the construction for our trouble.

The next day, we were told the Retreat promised was permitted a late check-out (+6hrs) and would not be ready anymore. We decided to wait for the one we were initially promised.

Waiting 2 days for our room was stressful, but we finally got into our room late on the second night. It felt communication was inconsistent and disorganized. Our compensation for the trouble was a free buffet dinner and we were later granted late check out in a Sunset Ocean Villa.

So, how did the rooms compare?

The Beach Villa was a bit of a let down for us. Views were blocked by greenery and the beach access wasn t truly private.

The Sunset Ocean Villa was better, but showed more wear, had views obstructed by the Private Ocean Suites, and was surrounded by broken coral.

The Private Ocean Retreat was incomparable! Every room had spectacular views of the ocean. The coral was healthier and allowed us to not only see countless reef fish, but also rays and even sharks (friendly). The water under the Retreat was well lit at night for viewing squid through the over-water hammock.

Food:
We tried the buffet, each of the restaurants (a la carte and reserved set menus), and in-villa dining. The food was expensive for what it was, but expected and understandable. We highly recommend the a la carte options over the buffet at Samsara.

Activities:
There were a handful of water activities from parasailing and jet skis to snorkeling, diving, and fishing. We enjoyed snorkeling with a turtle and viewing the coral reefs at sunset/night. These were expensive, but again not unexpected.

We honestly spent most of our time snorkeling off our villa (equipment provided), swimming in the pool, and relaxing in sun. It was amazing how much we saw from the villa alone (massive reef fish, rays, and blacktip reef sharks)!

Staff:
Natalie and the rest of the staff here were very friendly and helpful. We were often greeted moving around the island, which made us feel like home.

Transfer:
Our boat from the airport was relaxing as we enjoyed an air conditioned ride across clear waters.

Our boat back though was uncomfortable to say the least! After several groups arrived for departure, we were stuck waiting on a couple who was running late. This resulted in the driver trying to make up time. The entire boat repeatedly got air and swerved. Luggage fell over, staff were bounced off their feet, 1 person started throwing up, 2 grabbed life jackets, and another moved up to the front to see what was up. After a few minutes, a siren went off up front. Eventually the driver eased up and things smoothed out, but he continued to make attempts to cut time resulting in more discomfort. It was nice to be back on land.

Overall:
We highly recommend coming to the Maldives! It is a truly relaxing place with plenty of sea life to explore in unbelievably clear water. We look forward to revisiting the Maldives, but it is unlikely we will return to Jumeirah for two reasons:

1- Unsatisfactory resolution of a room issue which was in no way our fault.

2- The lack of responsibility to depart at a reasonable time so the driver wouldn t feel pressured to create a seriously uncomfortable return.

These two things were unexpected and very stressful. Had we gone elsewhere, we could have avoided this stress while still enjoying everything that makes the Maldives worth visiting.

Wonderful place to be at. Must go. The staffs are extremely hospitable, excellent food and lovely ambience.

Not a fan of corals, I like to be able to step into the water when I book an overwater villa. Also don t look under the bed, not the cleanest hotel for a 5 star service.

The resort feels & looks old. The service is normal and they don't seem to be interested but they get what you want at the end. This one suppose to be one of the top resorts but I've been to better ones.

Outstanding resort, luxurious but not pretentious - you can be as formal or casual as you like. The staff are outstanding, always smiling and greeting you and eager to help you have the best experience ever! Food is outstanding - top recommendation is MU bar & grill for dinner, their beef tenderloin with spicy rub is sensational. Private beach villa is enormous, with a welcoming and refreshing wrap-around pool perfect for an early morning swim or to escape the heat through the day. Special mention also to the spa facilities - excellent Balinese massage for my partner and I really got our stay off to the best of starts!

Customer service at its best. Small place but you will be very well looked after. Nothing appears to be a problem. Ocean villas are really nice and refurbed ones are excellent. Each villa has bikes to cycle round the island as well as Buggies available at any time. Good Spa treatments. Shame no Sauna etc. Mainly treatment rooms. Samsara service is second to none. Food is good most of the time. The staff made the difference. Uk plug sockets. Its not cheap but its a nice treat. Collection and return to the airport is very smooth and someone stayed with us straight to departures. The boats were nice and fast for transfers. First Class resort.

From midnight on January 5th to sunrise, the starry sky is really amazing. From Orion to the Winter Triangle, Sirius's horizon died. You can see the Spring Triangle from the Big Dipper and the Spring Triangle. after,
Well, it's impossible, but I'd appreciate it if there were a convenience store or a supermarket. Also, welcome and champagne are nice. It was delicious. Feast. Thank you to the staff, Airi, for welcoming me in the middle of the night. Thank you for your hard work. The star grass necklace I received from Airi around my neck I went back to Japan to decorate my room. It was a good memory of my 50th year of marriage. Airi and jumeira vitaweri Good luck in the future.

No way, poor, especially poor-hearted, I never imagined I would come to such a wonderful resort. Well, the travel agency organized it without permission. Eventually, I want to get a private jet. I want to finish the work I'm doing, get a new patent, and realize my dream of living and going back and forth between NY and Tokyo. Occasionally drop in at the resort. I long for a celebrity life.
It's a low-key story, but the morning buffet. You can drink champagne for free. Thank you. But tiger beer in the minibar costs $ 10 in a small bottle. Therefore, no minibar is used. You can get as much water as you like for free.

Amazing location and people. Some of the villas and amenities are dated though and could do with a revamp. Still, I'd go there again just for the people, the out of this world sights and the food!

Infinity Pool Ocean Villa with slide. A review based on family stay for 9 nights in the resort.

I should stress on the fact that be ware of the ocean tides which could be dengerous to slide into the ocean thats why you should always look for the flag color raised by Jumeirah Vittaveli management (green=go, Yellow=go with causion, Red: No sliding).

The resort is kids friendly big time with an amazing team & daily activities at kids club.

For divers dont miss out the chance to dive with Best Dive Vittaveli Center at Jumeirah Vittaveli. The manager of the dive center is a great guy with extensive diving knowledge for those who want to learn about diving sites in Maldives. Shout out to my diving guide Laushan & Jorn Theelen.

There is however a down side of our stay at Jumeirah Vittaveli in regard to our food board classification as given to us through Emirates Holidays followed by changing our villa due noise coming from a hanging beam at the bottom of the villa due high ocean waves and finally some difficulties related to restaurant food availability & variety.

The bottom line, i do strongly reccommend this resort to any family or couple because with all what we have been through we felt the management and every one out there were trying their max to immediately make it up for us. The full support & immediate response from every member of Jumeirah Vittaveli made us feel we were valued as guest. Thanks to Satu our care taker guy for after hours responsds & quick fix. Thank you all for your continious improvement.

The island is small, and really beautiful, the villas are very spacious, luxurious and comfortable, furnished with excellent taste, in a beautiful oriental style. The scent of the ocean, of the beach, of the tropical plants is everywhere, and makes its way also into your mind, chasing away all the pressures and the stress of our Western way of life. The service is absolutely flawless, extremely professional. The staff is really friendly, and they always help you with a smile. The spa is also an interesting place, a relaxing environment where people are taking care of you. The food is delicious, it ranges from the BBQs on the beach , when they cook the fish they caught a few hours before, to the more formal evenings, inspired sometimes by dishes of the Italian cuisine, in their fancy restaurants. It is a real paradise...

The water house is relatively large, and the coral reef is not far from the side. The snorkeling activity is very good. It is a pity that the service is generally a lot worse than the four seasons, and the food in the restaurant is very common.

Recommended if you come to the Maldives as a family unit!

Great staff.. Excellent buffet.. The entire water villa is really spacious. The gym on water villa overlook the sunrise is amazing.

Highest water quality, transparency.

The restaurant is expensive, but people who come to such a hotel can not worry about it. It is expensive and about 30,000 in the course. It is about 3,000 yen at the cheapest single item.

I strongly recommend that you bring your own set because snorkeling is the best
