What a disaster. If you go shopping with a shopping list with 10 items, you can say that 5 items are not in stock.
Jumbo is a super store, only this one is a disaster. It is not open to constructive criticism. Arrogant personality
Rude employes to buy a botle of water i had to take a big cart because they dont have small carts .
Come mainly because it's around the corner. No complaining about the cash registers and waiting time there. But a lot can improve further. In theory they have a large and varied assortment, but in practice you often miss out. The fruit and vegetable department is running backwards; now you suddenly have to weigh everything again. Brown bananas, bumped pears. Topping up is not always done in the right way. Good that they have paper bags in addition to plastic.

The supermarket could have done so much better. There is always, no matter what time of day I come, everything on (especially at the time of departure). So that I have to get half of my shopping from a blue competitor. I also like that you never have to wait long at the checkout, even though it is busy.
You can find everything there. Opening times very convenient even in weekends and holidays. Huge variety of products and nice stuff.
Friendly staff, you will also be helped very quickly at the checkout!

Employees are not very helpful or polite, especially at the 'service counter'. Don't get cigarettes or pick up packages here, the queue is usually very long. Opening hours are very good, range of products also good. Not too much fresh stuff or vegetables compared to other large supermarkets.

The vegetable department is a poor child at the Jumbo, often rotten items that are there, although things are going a little better at the moment than they were for years.

Jumbo thinks that with its many stores you have the strings and power in your hands ,, make no mistake Jumbo there are still enough competitors left to ignore you and quickly fall into oblivion !!

There is no logic in their arrangement of the store, so that every customer rushes through the store to load the heavy things first. To be able to place the lighter items on top. At the tobacco counter there is usually only 1 seller who has to do too much, including mail and dry cleaning, which takes a lot of time. And the line that becomes incredibly long and impatient. This branch of Jumbo Broekhoven Tilburg, is very nice, especially the staff who have worked there for many years, you can always enjoy it and have a nice chat again if it is more quiet! Some staff are really a disaster. Sometimes they even just try to close the store earlier than the indicated opening times and you have to literally start negotiating to be allowed inside. You can clearly see that people first think of themselves (staff) and only then the customer. A few cashiers are friendly.
Quality of the fresh fruit and vegetables is very bad, you have to search between the loose fruit to undamaged / not overripe products. Furthermore, the store has an illogical layout and the hygiene is not really great either. Further; dirty and poorly maintained coffee machines, baskets never stand at the entrance (you have to pick them up at the checkout), when the ATM cash machine disappeared from the store and everyone wanted to check-out at the checkout, the first month became very weird and grumpy responded to.
Uninterested and rude staff, cash registers supposedly open, but without cashier so no free groceries if you are the fourth waiting, too little stock (especially promotions) so you often misunderstand and complaints are not taken seriously. Bad service! Update: after the renovation, which is not finished despite the reopening, the store feels even more oppressive due to insufficient space and a lot of black. The refilling still does not work, while there are still a lot of staff around.
Very well equipped supermarket of the well-known brand Jumbo. Enough cash registers to handle the crowds. Because of the size there are also articles that are not in every supermarket. The department with stuff for a not pure Dutch meal in generous. Bakery department is well stocked. A well-established fruit and vegetable department. Wide choice for meat with a fresh department. Cheese department has a large selection. The flower department has an assortment that is larger than a normal supermarket. In short, a good choice for a message at a friendly price.

Shop is okay, but the bali's behind the checkout are often left unattended. Even after questions no one comes and they let you wait quietly. Several times I just walked away after waiting more than 5 minutes. Manager you look slow and does nothing, very sorry. The staff are not properly trained in this and wait for each other to take action.

Just Jumbo but it depends on how lucky you are to come at the right time. Often empty shelves and unkind and often much too young (not well trained) staff. It is a shame that other Jumbo's are often so much nicer and more customer-friendly. Further good super though. But no Super super unfortunately.
