Super customer-friendly staff especially at the checkout.
No hello or goodbye and just chatting with customers at a different checkout.
So we are totally ignored.
It already went wrong when she opened the cash register. First I walked back to the counter to finish her chat with colleagues.

Sinds verbouwing iets beter personeel. Verwacht alleen nog steeds niet snel geholpen te worden aan de servicebalie. Snappen ze nog steeds niet helemaal. Met betrekking tot Covid-19 zijn ze onduidelijk en inconsequent. Medewerkers houden geen afstand en staan gerust in je nek te hijgen. Karretjes zijn de ene keer wel verplicht, dan weer niet. De ene keer wel een muntje, de andere keer moet je er toevallig zelf een bij hebben. Ook vonden ze het blijkbaar erg ingewikkeld om de mandjes terug te rijden, dus die mogen we nu zelf mee terug nemen.

And they want 0.45c each end of the day. This of course I had .. so I could run away without a product. Do you as a customer the trouble to inform yourself have their staff not in order .. both cash register and the bakery staff also service desk gave bad service in this when I passed it was declined. Since the opening of the new store on the Stappegoor, the Jumbo on the Groenstraat has changed, fewer checkouts, less walking, a logical consequence. However, a major source of annoyance is that the opening time has gone back from 10 p.m. to 9 p.m. While it was always very busy in that hour too! A store, centrally located, easily accessible also for cyclists and people on foot. Stappegoor is really out of place and it is not just a store to "go" for some small groceries.
A pity, therefore, from the Jumbo on the Groenstraat! The need to shop after 9 p.m. has stuck with many people all the more because people were used to it!

Gosh I NEVER come here. customer-friendly and service-oriented is very far-fetched in this location. I am not used to it in Breda. I ask an employee to take that crate because I can't reach it. He made a silly joke by saying it is because you kindly ask. The way I'm not used to. I also showed that, but I did not receive an answer. Then I go to checkout I tell 8 bottles of spa red she understood 16. I said no in total 8 bottles. She looks at me strangely and she continues. In the end she says stamps I only said the knives. This store has gotten itself together! After a major renovation, the quality has visibly improved. The staff is looking forward to it again. Where the shop had "slipped" somewhat over the years, it has visibly recovered. Class!! Good luck with your beautifully renovated establishment.
