Prachtlocatie met zeer interessante en relevante tentoonstellingen. De nieuwbouw is impressionist en het 'oude' gedeelte charmant. Mooi gelegen ook naast het begijnhof. Al vele jaren trouwe bezoeker.
Beautiful renovation and 3 interesting exhibitions.
First visit to new building in every sense of the word a real revelation. I'm looking forward to more of that ..
The place for cutting edge design and art exhibitions
Nice place where the tranquility of the former beguinage nicely combines with art.
Very interesting exhibits, right in the centre of Hasselt.
Lovely exhibition about radioactive waste and the influence on generations to come
Nice artful place, usually an oasis of calm in the bustle of the city
This fairly new arts center blows a refreshing wind through the Flemish art world. Each space has a unique installation where experience and perception are the pivot. With Museumpass it is completely free, even for -26!
A unique art spot with meticulous curation, breathing art to the city of Hasselt and Limburg province.
Very creative exhibition. Unusually beautiful building.
Nice place to visit, exhibitions change after sometimes, so new stuff to see everytime.
Pleasant environment. Surprising music set on Saturday evening, space jazz meets nature or something. Worth repeating.
It's a good museum but I would recommend not taking a tour but just walk around yourself.
A nice little place in Hasselt, the people are very nice
Great center with interesting exhibitions, films and a great park!
House for contemporary art. Participation design! Act 1 Splendid image of the democratic process in Hasselt.
Been here during the gin festivals, very nice location
Fine art exhibitions in a beautiful, historic setting.
Always interesting exhibitions to discover emerging talent
Nice location but the 2 exhibitions were a bit too modern for me. Certainly from "Cute (the Work)" I expected something different. A lot of sand and a lot of stones doesn't mean anything to me!
Movement exercises in English language ... as a start: ... too bad! Love My language, especially in my country. Beautiful, well-kept location. Fascinating how time is approached in many areas. ... Always interesting to see works from last years!
Museum van topkwaliteit. Vernieuwende tentoonstellingen en leuke sfeer.
The architecture of the new complex has clearly taken into account the old part. A good integration of old and new.
Beautiful museum, nice gin at the end of our visit!
I think pukkelpop is very good. You can live from that .and put everything aside and drink a lot of beers
A peaceful area with a few arts. A part of it was under construction. Generally, it takes less than 5 minutes to walk there.
Rotating free modern art exhibits in a lovely old building, well worth a visit
Museum on the former site of the Beguinage Hasselt.
The quality of the food is excellent. It was a bit of a wait, but this was worth it. Operation also Ok.
What a pretty architecture and design!!! Just in the entrance in this difficult COCID crisis... impressive entrance sculpture and mini pool...
I always like the exhibitions in the big building, the ones in the smaller houses are often less. Free.
Intriguing destination with a highly professional museum space in curious historic setting, - expansion plans are under way, will return shortly!
Nice location, artwork, at least some of them were very interesting. Organization could be improved. I found the lady who welcomed us in the beguinage houses to be below average and the works of art were nicely described in the folder, but not everywhere was a mention of the corresponding figure in terms of comments. So guess a bit.
A friendly and fun pop-up bar with music in a cool environment in the center of Hasselt. Democratic drink prices hopefully it will be that way every year
Interesting exhibitions, so visit this place. Lovely sunny beguinage courtyard.
Z33 A museum with a heart.
The best contemporary art centre of the area at this beautiful location in the city of Hasselt. Supporting also emerging artists and designers.
Beautiful museum with conceptual art. The Sunday I was there was also a guided tour on the hour, no unnecessary luxury with this kind of art. The building and the garden itself are also worth a visit.

About Z33
Z33 is een grensverleggende kunstinstelling in Hasselt, op het kruispunt van hedendaagse kunst, design en architectuur.
Z33: A Boundary-Pushing Art Institution in Hasselt
Z33 is a unique art institution located in the city of Hasselt, Belgium. It is a place where contemporary art, design, and architecture intersect to create an immersive experience for visitors. The institution has been at the forefront of promoting innovative and thought-provoking works of art since its inception.
The name Z33 comes from its location on Zuivelmarkt 33, which was once a post office building that has now been transformed into an artistic hub. The institution's mission is to provide a platform for artists to showcase their work and engage with audiences through exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and other events.
One of the key features that sets Z33 apart from other art institutions is its focus on experimentation and innovation. The curators at Z33 are always looking for new ways to push boundaries and challenge traditional notions of what constitutes art. This approach has led to some truly groundbreaking exhibitions over the years.
Another aspect that makes Z33 stand out is its commitment to sustainability. The institution strives to minimize its environmental impact by using eco-friendly materials in exhibitions and events whenever possible. This dedication to sustainability aligns with the broader cultural shift towards more environmentally conscious practices.
Z33's programming includes both solo shows by individual artists as well as group exhibitions that explore specific themes or ideas. Recent exhibitions have included "The Sea - Salut d'honneur Jan Hoet", which examined our relationship with the ocean; "Design Derby Belgium-Netherlands", which showcased design objects from both countries; and "Fragments of Repair/Kader Attia", which explored issues related to colonialism and cultural identity.
In addition to exhibitions, Z33 also hosts workshops where visitors can learn new skills or techniques related to various forms of artistic expression such as photography or sculpture-making. These workshops are open not only for adults but also children who can participate in creative activities designed specifically for them.
Overall, Z33 offers a unique experience for anyone interested in contemporary art, design or architecture. Its commitment towards experimentation combined with sustainable practices makes it one-of-a-kind among other similar institutions around Europe.
