We had a great server, Dave, and the food was great and came at perfect intervals. Server even gave me a pitcher of soda without me asking, knowing it was a very hit day. Only problem was the comfort level of the dining room. Too hot. Upgrade your a.c. please.
This is one of the best Basque restaurants. Very friendly staff and generous portions. Well worth the visit.

Luv this place!!!! So inexpensive! Consistantly great family style food! My boyfriend loves the lamb! I like the chicken! Soup ,salad ,bread,beans awesome stew,French fries,main course and icecream for desert!! Bring a big appetite!!! We come here everytime we go to Nevada. The staff is always accommodating!
We've been going to family-owned JT's since the 90's. The food is outstanding, particularly the steak sandwich with fries and salad for lunch, the chicken and rice dish and Thursday's lunch special, original Russian style beef stroganoff. They make a descent Picon, too. Best Basque restaurant of the three in Gardnerville. If you go for dinner, you better be hungry. You won't be disappointed.
First time eating at a Basque restaurant and it was quite good! It was a unique experience being served the different courses, and having few choices of what you get.
Always amazing, always fun, we drive from reno sometimes just to come here!
