Jordan Lake Water Sports Review

Would never send anyone over to this guy he is a jerk and will take your money. I would advise everyone to never rent from Jordan lake water sports.

We did a 2 hour evening trip in the pontoon boat for my daughter's birthday. Had a great time...Very relaxing. The captain made the trip very interesting.

We rented a pontoon boat and tube from Jordan lake Water Sports for $750. We also put up $1250 deposit. While we were using the boat it developed a unusual noise in the engine so we stopped usage and called for return immediately. Ben the owner assured us that whatever the problem, it should be covered by warranty. Well after 3 weeks of requesting our deposit he decided to keep it!
We just used the boat as instructed. I suggest renting from someone else!

Not knowing what to expect from a kayak rental service, I thought my service wasn't so bad to begin with. I payed for two kayaks (pretty expensive considering it costs them nothing except a couple bucks of gas per day to lug kayaks to the lake), and waited around an hour for the kayak to make it down to the lake.

Had an decent time until it started to rain, and I called the place asking about their "refund" service as quoted from their website. They told me to drive up and talk about it. Instead of "refunding" me for my 85$ i spent for an hour on the lake, the worker hand wrote me a 30 dollars off coupon in the rain for the next time I go, effectively smearing the pen marks.

Needless to say, I never tried to use that coupon.

Best kayak rentals ever. I was able to rent 2 kayaks for just $25 a day each. I was also able to keep them over night for a deposit of $200 each. The owner was awesome and even picks up and drops off the kayaks to campgrounds or the landing dock.

What a great experience and great time on the lake yesterday for Zachary's Birthday. We did some rafting, swimming, and cruising for a fun filled morning. Thanks Ben. We highly recommend you use Jordan Lake Water Sports. We will be back for sure!

They were very friendly, we had a lot of fun on the water! We kayaked for three hours and it was great.

Could not have had a more positive experience. Prices were beyond fair and the overall handling was very accommodating. Would recommend.

Easy stop in to,rent paddle boards. They bring them right away to you,at the beach. Very convenient, quick and easy.

THEIF!!! Do not trust BEN the owner. He looks for anyway possible to keep your deposit. The worst transaction I have ever been apart of. We are doing everything in our power to retrieve the $999 security deposit he stole from us. Check him out on BBB - this is how he runs his business, like a crook! We rent boats from all over and have never had even one issue. Looking forward to his response to this. Notice in the other reviews how quickly he responds to complaints - almost as if he's waiting for them... If he concentrated on running his business properly maybe he wouldn't have to rob people and worry about bad reviews.
