I was insulted multiple times to my face about my gender and being a younger customer. The service consultant (Joe Locke) argued with me over using a coupon for a free Check Engine Light diagnosis, and then charged me $630 for that exact service, even though I showed him the coupon that I got directly from the website many times and I know for a fact that he saw it.
I needed a rental since my service would take all day, and when they charged me the $100 for the deposit, the girl I was with at that point told me it was for my full service, so I used a difference credit card than I intended to because I was misinformed and was told I was paying for a service that was several hundred dollars, not a hundred dollar deposit.
When I was able to review my receipt, I noticed that part of it said that they reviewed my car for any recalls, which they did not even mention to me, because my car currently does have a recall on it, and I will be getting taken care of at a different Toyota dealership who does not openly insult customers and try to take advantage of them.
I am young, so I know that I don t know much about cars. With that being said, I do see why this dealership doesn t get the greatest of reviews. The people that work at this establishment do not care whatsoever about their customers and just want to make money. I would rather drive my car to a dealership I know and trust won t swindle me, which is located an hour and a half away, in a different state, than deal with those (for lack of a better, appropriate word) jerks ever again.
Dealerships with employees like this are the reason people hate dealing with dealerships.
