I'd say that the people in the company are pretty cool and nice, I don't feel stressed at this job which is good I guess. The pay isn't really that great but you get as many hours as you want so I guess that's good, I don't really see any promotions in my future, I don't think I'd want to anyway, it doesn't seem like it's that great as you go up anyway. Little more pay/ a lot more stress, at least that's what it seems like from the bottom of the Food chain. My supervisors are cool, but from what I hear being a supervisor isn't what it's cracked up to be. I've been here about 6 months, I can see myself doing this for awhile at least until I find something better as in pay.

This company is very money hungry and operations are disrespectful they care more about the managers at the store than they security officers if a manager at a store say something that you didn t do they are quick to fire you instead of trying to get proof , I never been to no security company who does stuff like that then they think just because they over someone they can talk to them any kind of way they want.

Don t ever work for this company, they are the most unprofessional employers ever. I lived in DC where I don t drive or anything, working as unarmed security doesnt have the necessary protection. So I was at Safeway Georgia Avenue, they didn t direct me to the headset. Nobody greeted me when I came to the door so, i was way over my head on what to do. Nobody was talking to me as I wore the dark security uniforms with the bright dark red. So the manager had called me during the intercom, I didn t respond because mind you nobody greet me to where the headset was at. So I clearly made my way around the store, the manager of Safeway look at me than a couple minutes later she knew she saw me walking around. She than explained she called me I said I didn t hear you calling me over the radio because nobody gave me a radio. They had called me on the intercom which circulated and bounce of the ceiling remained you, you have people talking it loud as hell. So all in all I was in the wrong because I reported that the manager was being disrespectful towards me, I felt uncomfortable because the same people she wanted me to appoarch they could easily follow me as I gotten out of the store. If you know DC they to recognize my face

I have worked in this company for about 2 years and was terminated June 2015 for falling asleep. Overall I thing the administration is wonderful. There is easy vertical and horizontal communication or flow of infos. A very dynamic scheduling system that allows u to do other things. It's a wonderful site for beginners in the area. Like any other company, u will have one or two people who don't treat u well or u don't agree with, but that doesn't defines the company. But for the salary that's not the best but also not the worst, I think this is a wonderful company.

I wish I could provide you the proof. At first, this company was fine. The pay...medicore. The schedule was ok. The COMMUNICATION is terrible. I have been trying to contact my team leader for over a month to no avail. Operations are nothing but a bunch disrespectful people. And now that I am pregnant, it is even harder. Very hard. And stressful. This company is good for a little extra money...but keep looking!

In the beginning, it was okay. I signed on as a part time employee. I made my own schedule, got to spend time with my family, with no obligation to working everyday. But soon that all changed! I felt under utilized as a Armed Officer in MD & DC (Making unarmed guards pay).. Furthermore, when I was finally transferred to a site where I could best utilize my skills, blueline did not have the caliber officers as it portrays!

Most of which, individual officers were not completing reports on incidents occurred, others were not following General orders of DC Code.

I was later promoted to supervisor (believe me, it was just a title), officers began to make up stories about me to give me a bad reputation. In the security industry, it's all about accountability! In which, blueline does not respect that standard!

In 1 yr, my satisfactory level went from great, to not even caring!

Pros: Direct deposit/Get paid on time

Cons: No raise in pay, under utilized in your capacity (Armed status), No TRAINING whatsoever, overworked (Supervisors), no room for advancement, Turnover ratio is very high, Blueline is a revolving door

I wouldn t recommend anyone to work for this company. They absolutely stuck, they have favorites. They pick and choose when they want to give you schedules and wants you to work. I ve been out of work with them since July 1st, 2018 and I m still out of work so I resigned. This is a no good company and they re doing a lot of things under the table. Do not and I mean do not work for this company. They don t help you with anything that they say they will help you with. Also you ll have to train yourself because they don t EVER send anyone out when you first start to train you. The pay is also terrible. Unarmed security officers in Maryland gets paid $11.50, dc unarmed security officers get paid $12.50, and armed security and SPO only $15.00 or $16.00 an hour. That s no good!! Don t work for these people go to allied universal or securitas or something. A company that s known and that have great contracts!
