Surprisingly great pizza. It got pretty loud in here but in general, it had a good vibe and a nice menu.

Have been to jojos before and had an alright experience. Went back last night to give it another shot, and was so disappointed. We started off with a small cheese board, which stated it was an assortment of local cheeses and meats, which when it came out it was the opposite. There was one piece of cheese the size of a quarter, and 4 thinly sliced slices of meat. For $16 and a deceiving description, it was a huge disappointment. My party then split a pizza and found a hair in one of the slices. Was going to complain to the waitress, but already had complained about the cheese board. Not worth the $70. SImple to say, we will never be going back.
Food was good value for the price and atmosphere was pleasant. I was not overwhelmed by the flavors of the entree but dessert was delicious. I meant to take a picture before we dug in, but clearly it was too good to wait.
I called here this weekend hoping to make a reservation as I have heard great things about this restaurant. The hostess kindly answered the phone and expressed to us that they were very booked but she would try her best to work with her manager in hopes of accommodating us. After putting me on hold, her manager came back onto the phone. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful. She acted like she could not care any less that we wanted to dine there. It was actually quite disgusting the way she treated me. While there are many words I could use to describe this place, I m going to say only this: JoJos is possibly the worst run restaurant I have dealt with. Truly embarrassing.
Nice place, relaxing atmosphere. The pizzas are super thin!
Toya made a great martini. Visiting from Texas. Hoping to see Chef David, my cousin bit he was off today.
I think that because we went on a slower night it was lovely to be able to talk over dinner, vs speaking loudly, as it is a very popular place. We started with the fine cornmeal calamari fries served Italian style, hot peppers, and an excellent sauce. My date ordered Chicken Milanese, and I ordered Cajun Chicken with mashed potato, and we ordered a side of roasted garlic Brussels Sprouts. Everything was great, however my chicken was undercooked. Management was over in less than a minute and within 5 minutes they gave me a new dinner. It was delicious. When it came to dessert, we were not planning to order anything, and Management again sent us cinnamon cakes and Pittsford Dairy ice cream. They did not bill us for the dessert, which was very kind, as well as my dinner.
Aside from the mishap, it was such an enjoyable experience, and I would tell everyone to go there. This is definitely as treasure on the East side of Rochester!
We had a great experience here with a group of 6 people. Food was incredible. Friendly and attentive staff!
A nice place to get some good slightly upscale foods
Great food and service. They were able to easily accommodate for our large group (15 people).
While the service is decent the food quality is inconsistent and often very low end, and certainly not worth the price. If you looking for a good meal you are better off going to Black and Blue.
I have not been here yet but I do no one of the girls that works there her name is Hayley she's the best so I will be going
I don't like that restitution at all. They have to change the chef. Jou doesn't know how to run a business.
Extensive wine list with a nice variety. Helpfully staff and delicious food. Short ribs were so tender and flavorful.
Jojo's is an upscale wine bar with great wood fire pizza.
Food was ok, beer list was very limited, raclette wasn't very melty, atmosphere and service were good though.
Beautiful place. Was a little disappointed with food selection.
Incredible food. Try the black jack fish. Tom, the waiter, is the best server ever. Incredible service.
Jojo has a great atmosphere focused around their huge pizza oven. The whole place has the feel of a ski lodge. We stopped by last night and loved some of the cocktails and pizza. They did a great job and will continue to get my business. I'll be back soon, especially for the Monday no corkage fee night.
Great restaurant, sophisticated atmosphere, and not to stuffy. Have always loved the appetizers and entrees that I have ordered, never disappointed. Great Wine Selection too.
The food was delicious but the management is terrible and the staff rude. Twelve of us went there for my bachelorette party. They were decent enough to give us the hunky waiter with the long hair. Unfortunately, he spilled a entire cup of scolding hot coffee on my matron of honor before we even ordered dinner or had our first round of drinks. Not only was she in tears from the burns but her dress was ruined and she had to leave the party, that she planned, to ice her left shoulder, arm and leg. Two of my other bridesmaids and our mother left to take care of her. My mother spoke with the manager on the way out and she only offered us burn cream. NEVER did the manager come to the table to apologize or inquire how my sister was after she left. She never offered to comp anything. The waiter was understandably mortified and apologetic and offered to pay for our two appetizers. The rest of the restaurant staff was noted to be talking and snickering about us the rest of the night. We had to approach the manager about the incident after dinner and prompt a incident report. It really is unfortunate that this was HANDLED so POORLY. We all understand that accidents happen but it was down right rude the lack of empathy management had for the fact that my sister was injured, her dress destroyed and our night ruined.
So so so delicious! Definitely one of my most consistently good restaurants in Rochester.
Casual setting with open bar and seating area. Wine and drink select was good. Small plate selection which my wife wanted was somewhat limited. But we enjoyed our dinners. Service was good.
The food was great and so was the staff and the waitress. I highly recommend visiting this place at least once in your lifetime.
Went on a Tuesday night. Seated right away. Staff very pleasant. Meal was excellent. Cost was mid to high but excellent.
Tuna appetizer was almost flavorless, under seasoned. Pizza was just okay. Service was but not particularly friendly.
You get a lot of food for the price. Wine is the better option in terms of selection and prices.
Excellent pizza and zucchini fries. Very friendly!
Good food and good service! Very nice bar but its popular
We had been to Jojo a couple of times previously, and each time found both the atmosphere and food enjoyable. Our last visit however, was a great disappointment. I am embarrassed to have chosen Jojo for my birthday dinner with my wife and parents.
Our server was rude and appeared disengaged and entirely disinterested. The pizzas were not prepared well at all - crust was over cooked, toppings were scant and dried out due to being overcooked, overall terrible. It was like eating crackers with burned vegetables on top of them.
It is not often that we decide to completely write a place off based on one visit but this is one of those times. We will not be back.
I suggest to management that you do something to improve the attitude of your servers and correct whatever issues exist in your kitchen.
Service was very attentive, their thin crust pizzas are the best in town and the atmosphere is excellent
Was not impressed. Waiter was very short and never came around.
Our dinner items were outstanding, fresh gulf fish special and ahi tuna tartare. Drinks are a little pricey but tasted good. Service was very responsive and helpful. Definitely would recommend Jojo to our friends.
