I went pumpkin picking as a child at this farm, and now I take my son here. Anyone complaining about the prices ($5 hayride on top of paying for what you pick) has absolutely no clue how the real world works. I m from the city, so I have no idea how much it costs to run a farm as large as this, but I can imagine it s a pretty hefty price. The hayride is at least 10 minutes long, not including stops. It costs MONEY to maintain tractors and the trailers we sit on. And I m sure there s some type of insurance they pay for on that. The farm is well maintained and I am still impressed by their Easter egg hunt, best one I ve ever seen. Pumpkin picking is still on the vines, which isn t something you see at other places. Acres of apple picking, and sun flowers and all the other seasonal U-pick stuff. $5 a ticket for the hayride is not an unreasonable amount for the time, effort and money they put into maintaining this farm. If they made us pay for parking, I could understand the nickel and dime comments. But everything they charge for, are things the farm owners actually invest in to make it the way it is for us. We love it there and will continue to give them our business!

The lights and bonfires are really nice. You can capture some nice pics here. Save a buck and skip the hayride though, nothing you can't see from the lake and animal petting area, and don't order the chili if you're expecting anything resembling the real thing. Bring some marshmallows and a thermos of hot chocolate or coffee sit back and watch the kids run.

Drove past this farm everyday for two years. Today we decided to come and get some apples. We had such a wonderful time here. Pumpkins, apples, popcorn, hayrides, animal farm. So beautiful and we grabbed a brochure to have our wedding here. Such a great place.

We come here regularly for the "Pay the temperature Tuesday" ice cream, but I've visited in the past and done the hay ride, picking, barn yard play ground. I've also come for the Christmas light hay ride. And just stopped in the store for cider donuts. Everything has been great. They make you pay for everything, but you get what you pay for here: it's quality.

My family and I have been going to Johnson's farm for years and just LOVE it!! It is both a traditional and unique experience all in one! From the classic hayrides and pumpkin picking to seeing one of Santa's reindeer or the light up musical hayride...memories can be made everywhere!! Last year was the first time we did the horse drawn hayride and it was an absolutely magical time for my entire family. I have read some reviews saying that it is expensive but I do not agree...you get what you pay for--the entire place is extremely clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, customer satisfaction is a true priority, and all of their products are top quality! I especially like how you can pick and choose what you want to do for the day so you are actually in control of how expensive your day is going to be. We go to Johnson's Farm 2-3 times every year even though it is an hour drive from our home because it is a wonderful family experience from beginning to end and I highly recommend it!!!!

Fun family place. I had to drop off 1 star because there is a lack of easy directions on were to get tickets and I think the price is just a little high. I can let it go a bit because they have limited Sessions to make money but I cant help to wonder if it holds some people back. I am a grand parent and a bit better off then say some parents. It was a $200 day.

I am really impressed with how much Johnson's Farm has improved. I visited the farm for the first time in years recently, and we had a blast. There was enough activities and to do and see, that we were able to make an afternoon of our trip! "Farmer Doug" took us out for the hayride, and he went above and beyond! He talked about various crops, told us interesting facts and really made the trip well worth it! He was super conscientious and catered the trip towards my two year and the other children! The other memorable part of our trip was the "BarnYard" play area! It was cutely and cleverly designed for wide range of ages! The only reason i gave a 4, was for the cost. Even though our hayride was worth it, i felt prices and tickets were overpriced.

Fun. A lot to offer but WAY OVERPRICED. On the hayride our 2 year old grabbed an extra pumpkin (a small beat up pumpkin). We let him carry it to keep him happy. We bought six others and bags of apples. When we told the girl as the cash register where they weigh. She made us pay for the beat up one my 2 year old carried. Its policy she said. I really think it's not worth losing customers that buy a ton from there at high prices for such a stingy policy is bad business.

I just had my daughters 1st birthday. When I read the contract and when you reserve for a birthday party at any location, you expect that the host should time everything and keep the party involved. When we got there at 2:30, they kept saying the hayride was at 4 so we had basically 3-4 to do everything. All they kept asking was if I needed anything and I kept saying no we re fine. Point blank was when I addressed my concern to the girl in charge, she was giving me a nasty attitude instead of trying to hear me. I was so angry that I paid almost $500 for a 2 hour party and for her to basically give me an attitude about correcting the fact that I was feeling over whelmed about having to host when I paid for that to be done. When the manager came over she wanted to try and sweep under the rug her associates attitude. Anyway, I won t ever have a party here ever again. It was Horrible. Only the girl Ava was really pleasant and never raised her voice at me

Lovely pick-your-own and great indoor farm market. Events for families all year round. Prices for pick your own are very fair, some baked goods are a little expensive for what they are.
