I always wait until the end of October to do pumpkin picking so our pumpkins last until Halloween, so the crowds weren't what bothered me. I waited in line for 20 minutes just to be told "Our credit card machines are down, you'll have to use our ATM. We're only accepting cash now". No sign, nothing prior letting us know we had to wait in the 20 minute line for the ATM BEFORE the 20 minute line to buy the tickets THEN sit in a 2 hour line for the pumpkin patch. Indian Acres is 10 minutes away. They have 2 pay lanes with signs "Cards/Cash" and "Cash only". Surely they'd make some sort of announcement if their machines went down and not have their customers wait 20 minutes before they're told they'd have to be redirected to wait an additional time just to buy tickets to wait in ANOTHER long line! I went to Indian Acres immediately after and did all the activities they had to offer in the time it would have taken me at Johnsons Farm just to get my daughter a PUMPKIN!

Lovely quaint farm. Nice place to bring the little ones. Includes hay rides and a petting zoo for children and a General Store. According to the season has specific fruit picking ie apples pumpkins berries etc. Social Distancing and Mask Wearing is observed. Washing Stations throughout the Farm.

The farm is great. The animals are great. The play area is great. The market is great.

This 1 star review is based off of our last two times at visiting. The short: people are not wearing masks and the rule is not being enforced. It is being enforced inside the market.

We went on a weekend in the early morning when they just opened. Everyone was wearing masks and distancing as best they could. By 11am, many families in the play area were not wearing masks, even adults standing around. We decided to end out trip short. We would have stayed another hour or two and probably shopped a little on our way out. Instead, we finished lunch and left.

We went today and saw large families with no one having a mask in hand or around their neck. They were walking into the play area without the workers saying anything. We went to the farm area and the same thing happened. So we left. Again.

Before the pandemic, we loved Johnson's. We went as often as we could. Now, after these two experiences, I don't plan on bringing my family back until the pandemic officially ends or I hear that masks are being enforced.

It's a great experience for adults and children. The food is fresh and delicious. The hayride is lacking in hay but otherwise a good trip. Picking our own sweet potatoes and corn was adventurous. Many things along the way. Time flies when you are having fun!!

Have been going here for many years. Excellent corn on a cob, vegetables and fruit. Do miss the cut up fruit and strawberry dip they used to have. Wish they would bring it back. By the way, they have the best pies in the area. Love Johnson's Farm.

Good size farm, staff is very friendly. Only 4 types of apples to pick from. Farm store has great baked goods. Tractor ride was nice. Very well socially distanced. It's better for kids than adults.

I enjoy Johnson's ice cream but every time I go the cones get smaller and smaller. Today was the most ridiculous I've experienced. First, I ordered my ice cream, I said, " Can I please have a small vanilla soft serve cone with rainbow sprinkles." The lady then said, "sure," and asked hard or soft ice cream, cup or cone, and with what type of sprinkles. Then, she handed me my cone with not even three flat swirls. Definitely NOT worth the $3.24 I paid.

Good service with polite and knowledgeable employees. Good food. Fresh crops to pick depending on the season. Hay rides. Winter light show in the lake. Plenty of animals to see and interact with. Clean.

Very large farm and a lot to do. Staff is so friendly and the store has so many wonderful homemade jellies, pies, desserts, and lunches. Perfect during this time to get out, explore, and let the kids enjoy some freedom from being indoors all summer. Highly Recommend!

You should come here every week.
I took my kids last weekend and they spend there 6 hours of playing in the right and healthy way to play. At the end of the day our neighbors joined us.

We loved it.

Expensive tourist trap. I went with my family to go pumpkin patch picking, and the place was packed. The crowd isn't the farm's fault, but they charged for every little thing. You want to go to the patch? Well, buy some tickets to wait in line for the hayride (walking to the patch is not allowed). Want to let your kid see some smelly animals? Buy some more tickets, two tickets required for each child by the way. Want to go to our crappy playground? You guessed it, more tickets. Moonbounce? Tickets! The place is designed to wring as much money as possible from each person. Also, the patch itself was pretty lame. Not that this review will do much good anyway, they seemed to be beating people away with sticks...

The maze wasn't exactly a maze, felt like it wasn't worth the trip or money. The hot food outside was ok, have yet to try the baked stuff we bought inside but from other comments I'm expecting that to be good. The cider wasn't from their farm, which was a bit perplexing. Prices were all exorbitant when you consider how many customers they have - at least thousands of people here just today, but a pie is 16$. To go once a year maybe it's not so bad. Overall a decent day out.
