Comfortable, clean, did good today on the slots,,,,

Walked into the casino got carded got a players card went to the bar got carded again two hours later after playing the new pit boss came up to me and told me to shut up because I told the dealer she had to hit on a soft 17 which I was right everyone at the table had to be paid out then they called security on me because they said I refused to show my id?? I've been a rewards member for the past year and this is how I get treated.. Not only trying to screw over me but everyone at the table I will never return to this establishment and if you decide to make sure you always double check your bets

This place sucks your downstairs bar tender on march 19 on Saturday afternoon completely treated me wrong she showed no respect towards customers and there needs I been in the restaurant business for 5 years and she sucked at all aspects of it. I suggest you get a new bar tender before you lose business

J Z's is my spot out of the 3 properties in Central City/Blackhawk. They have a few old reel games that hit well from time to time and the penny slots on the first floor will pay out well on a bet of $1.50+

One of our favorite casinos in Central City. Great restaurant. Coffee and snack bar is very convenient. Players points are nice addition. Machine pay offs seem to be on par with other casinos in area.

3 dollar tables are the big attraction here compared to others. Has a small town feel to the place.

I love this casino. Friendly service from all staff members. Justin. Renee and Raeita always welcome me by name and I never wait for service of any type. I always meet great people and enjoy myself even if I am not winning. Thanks for always showing me a great time.

The Casino is OK but the restaurant is HORRIBLE. They have a $7.77 Ribeye special with 50 points earned. I earned my 50 points and went to the restaurant upstairs. HORRIBLE MISTAKE! 30-40 minutes after we ordered, our ROOM TEMPERATURE FOOD came out. My steak was overcooked. The veggies, fries, baked potato, everything was not warm. I decided not to complain because I didn't want to wait another 40 minutes for another steak. The waiter did not once ask us hour our meal was. He rushed by and filled up water once besides that not much from him. There was a lady that seemed to be the manager or supervisor. She was helping out but she did not greet us the entire time or ask how our food was. In fact no one asked how our food was. I used to like this place but I'm not too sure If I'll be coming back here. This is the McDonald's of Central City.

How cool is it when you can come to a place and actually win money while being treated like royalty

Consistently inconsistent, expect disappointment. Been eating there for over a year and they messed up my last 6 orders IN A ROW! Went back and asked them to fix it and they messed up again.

The casino is so nice and lively, yet i NEVER win when i come here....which is fine, but I've never talked to anyone that has ever won here either. Guess you gotta pay off that hotel somehow, but damn....give us some false hope at least. Lol

Not bad. Its a casino - you win, you lose. Decent service, good slots, nice people. Good restaurant on the 3rd floor. Tasty chicken taco salad.

We made our last visit to Johnny Z's. For a Saturday night it was very slow, boring, and no atmosphere what so ever. Went through a hundred bucks in a blink of an eye which has never been that way before. No more multiplier on the kiosk, 1 cocktail server for the entire place, including upstairs. He was doing his best running up and down. There was not one employee that we recognized in the entire place. As I read other reviews I see where one stated "new owners". This was our place of choice, we'll never be back, it was a horrible experience for my wife and I.

They have great slots with a good variety too. Make sure to get a player's card

Very small Casino did not feel comfortable. When we went in my husband and I we're scared out because we don't walk very stable. We had a wheelchair for my husband but we were clearly being evaluated for our stride. I felt they thought we were drunk. Nope just a couple disabilities don't judge

Prime rib special on Friday, good coffee and cups, nice rewards

I always love to go to Johnny Zs, Hadn't been at this one for a long time but as always had a good time, I love their music choices. Didn't win alot but I go to have a nice relaxing time.

Never win no matter what I play or how much. Good food though.

I had $300 on my players card 1 Mon and it was gone the next instead they gave me 150 in z play they are thieves stay out of all of his casinos u will get robbed legally

So I did their promo for breakfast for the 50 points that are required to get to get it and Set down for breakfast came pretty quick and prompt the ash Browns were little burnt but crunchy like I like on unfortunately I asked for Tabasco sauce and to catch up and has left there for over 35 minutes not checked on or even sauces brought back to table she finally came back around 40 minutes with Tabasco and catch open hand Unfortunately My food is already sat there for 45 minutes and she offered to make new and brought me new plate quickly hashed Browns were not done in fact still cold and eggs were running in which I asked over hard it is a texture thing am unable to eat runny eggs pre sure it's my life and I like what I like in eat what I want part of being a grown up told her the eggs were not good did not offer anything else service was very horrible each time up eaten in this restaurant the staff is very unfriendly and and welcoming there a few gals that are the waitresses did deserve probly a lot more higher pay than with a get because even they know they're stretched thin and customers complain all the time about not being able get drinks or liquor drinks I really enjoy Johnny's casinos expression Li after they took over the reserve but with all the cool nice new amenities in furniture doesn't go very far when you have poured staff quality and customer care I would mind going through your company as a consultant and help you out because is most definitely being swept under the rug and maybe even unforeseen to the owner which is sad because he really has a good thing going and fortunately his staff do not value or appreciate their jobs enough to do a good job and please their customers expression I frequent lines like me And those few waitresses I do notice I am there do try harder to come by and see me for therefore I'm not a shy tipper nor stingy expression the when I'm up Hope you guys can use this feedback F any others you would like don't hesitate to PM me I travel a lot and frequent a lot of different casinos and restaurants and do consulting on the side just FYI And why I'm at it O say that all your locations restaurants are like this and really could use either some discipline or training for your employees Or maybe just some customer Service training

Restaurant manager is awsome . I'm glad I got the opportunity to work with such a great open minded kind understanding man at Johnny Z. (I wish I would have started here at Johnny Z) Wish things would have worked out! Grand Z.. Needs better communication!! Was discriminated against!!. At Grand Z! I can only hope that the company keeps going . Kitchen managers I pray that they made the right choice!

Do not eat at their restaurant! Worst service ever! This is the third time we have had a poor experience and I am finally writing about it to let everyone else know. Although the food is fair, if you can get it delivered from the kitchen to your table, the staff and efficiency of the restaurant personnel is absolutely horrible. We made a special trip from an hour away to have a Mother's Day lunch at the Z Restaurant, only to have two of our three orders delivered to the table, one being inaccurately ordered by the waitress, and the other was just mediocre in taste. My mother-in-law and her husband did not even get their meal before my husband finished eating his. I have worked in restaurants for over 10 years and was greatly disappointed in this service. Doesn't everyone know that it does not take longer to grill salmon than grilled chicken!! Someone in that kitchen is an idiot!!!

If it wasn't for Eric the bartender, we wouldn't be going here anymore. We've been going to Johnny Z's since they first opened but since Maverick gaming took over we're super disappointed. They've run out of Jack Daniels over a month ago and haven't gotten more, they are also out of the JD Rye and Gentlemen Jack, that's crazy!. They act irritated if you want them to switch out machines so you can play one that's off. It's really sad but we'll see if things get better.

Like all the Z's, but a little more rustic. Jonny... Keep your brands separate! Lumping and promoting them all together between Blackhawk and Central City is confusing unless you can get your points and perks on one system. And loosen up those slots a bit.

They serve large dishes and for convenient prices. very welcoming staff members. Kudos.
