Just tried to eat there. After waiting for a few minutes no one came to help us. So I went back and asked an older blond lady if we sat ourselves. She said no, she'd be there in a minute. Then continued her conversation. After a few minutes we left. She obviously wasn't interested in actuallu working.
I'm going to try to book a free room they gave me ill let u know the out come. Well my accomodations were excellent. I wasn't able to play as much as I wanted to so I took advantage of all the hotel had to offer. food, service, parking, variety of gaming,friendly staff all on point. I don't travel much so i treat Central City as my vacation,or just get away spot, and you can bet your last dollar you'll find me at one of the Z's !
The prime rib special was really good my complents to the chef the downside I saw a manager being rude to a delivery guy for what seemed like no real reason I could be wrong but it seemed uncaled for
They have lost our business for ever! !!! Last night a waitress said in a very loud voice at the bar in front of 10-20 guests "I am the only waitress working tonight so if anyone wants anything to drink they will have to have patience or go to another casino" the people around me made jokes but I didn't think it was funny I cashed out and left. The service was already bad enough but for the girl to say this just made it worse. We were all making comments regarding the waitresses comment....not good!!! For that kind of service, I could take my money elsewhere!!
Nice casino. I almost won the jackpot on a slot here. Would have been great to hit that! Maybe next time

Stay clear of this place - go to Dostal Alley or Blackhawk. Poor service at best! Thought we were at "Cousin Eddies" casino - do yourself a favor and skip it altogether

I love to play at the Johnny Z Casino because when I play there I do get good comps n staffs are very friendly though slots are kind of too tight..... Other then that I will not go anywhere else to play

This is a great smaller casino! Great bartenders and servers. The people behind the glass and the cage techs could be more friendly! They are upgrading the place with oriental theme. Cant wait toll its done!

We have been going to Johnny z since it opened. We were there Saturday October 10, 2020. I went to cash out my tickets from machines and was waiting at the cashier and a gentleman who I assume was management came up to me and told me I had to use the cash vending machine that they aren t allowed to accept them at the cashier cage. Excuse me!!! What the hell are the cashiers for then. If you don t want them handling money then close. Good bye we are no longer interested In your casinos!!!!
The casino used to be one of my favorites & now they have taken out so many machines. No point stopping in anymore.

It's one of the better casinos in Central City. It's neat to see all of the old buildings, since black hawk is right down the street with the newer casinos.

Always running out of food and the Grand Z'S too not enough handicap parking. To many VIP parking in Blackhawk. I think JOHNNY is getting too greedy. Going to the Isle and Monarch from now on they give u coupons for discounted rooms. VERY DISAPOINTED WITH JOHNNIE Z'S

I never when a single thing of any large quantity but friendly staff, and the machines don't just take ever dime you have, they never pay out much but they do pay out just enough for you to continue to shoot for a chance at the jackpot prizes! So I highly recommend Johnny Z's Casino!
