I cant support a business that requires the front desk to wright down all of my ID info in order to enter the facility. They dont need it. Thats obsurd. I dont even know why they need it or what they use it for. Other casinos dont require that info. Ill be taking my money elsewhere till they stop this nonsense.

Who ever was Responsible for the Danish s last night. Absolutely Fantastic. Best Danish Ive ever had. Not only Was is Perfectly Flawless, You took your time to show Pride in Your work. The presentation couldnt have been any better. Even layer of Rasberry centered in a perfect circle. Don t think it went unoticed. People like you are Great assets to any business. You deserve a Raise my friend!!!!

This used to be a fun place to go, but now it is such a cold and unfriendly place.

I went to this casino last evening (Halloween) and was dressed in Green Bay Packers gear. A male employee who was dressed as who knows what, I think a Jedi or something tells me that Packers fans need to go someplace else. I told him really the other casino down the street (The Reserve) had no problems with me. I said thats ok I can take my money and go elsewhere. This used to be my one of my favorite places to gamble. I will not be going back

OK, it's a casino, so right away you know you're going to lose. HOWEVER, I tend to be able to play a lot longer at Johnny Z's than the other nearby casinos, so there's that. The cafe is really good, I've loved every menu item I've tried there. The staff is mostly great, although on the last visit the two at the player's club seemed to be having a bad day.

Use to win at reserve and get rooms but not no more

Always fun place but dont get drunk you will lost ...lol.....

The party's at Johnny Z's! Decent machines and atmosphere plus a pretty good rewards program. Good food deals on holidays.

Game choices are great. We received free complementary meals both where delicious. Staff was very friendly..

We didn't gamble. Went strait to the restaurant upstairs to eat. The waitresses was really great. They made sure to accommodate my friend on a bunch of his weird requests (he wanted the prime rib, but with hash browns and eggs...). I got a burger and onion rings. The food was average. Nothing special, but certainly not bad. I would definitely eat there again. The prices were reasonable too.
Just as an aside, they have four hot sauces on the tables. I forget the brand, but they are some of the best hot sauces I have ever had. They are made in Denver. If I can think of it, I will edit this here. (I didn't want to take too many pictures because it's a casino).

I loved the breakfast! 7 bucks got us all of this and a side of some pretty awesome chilie. The waiter was courteous and friendly and the cook was on it. I loved this spot and didn't want to tell anyone about it, but just look at the food!!!

The only reason I m even giving one star, is because there is no lesser option.
I am appalled, and completely blown away by the level of disrespect from not only the employees at this casino, but their Z stop gas station as well.
My husband and I encountered two separate occasions, in less than a 24hr period. Where we were harassed by a total of 3 employees. My husband was chased out of the Johnny Zs parking lot, in his attempt to purchase food from this location. Two employees followed him all the way to our car, yelling at and threatening him with calling the cops. Early morning the next day. I stopped at the Z stop gas station, only to have one of the worst customer service encounters of my life. As the cashier proceeded to yell at and insult me, by calling me ugly. When I asked to speak to the manager, the cashier stood behind him, relentlessly staring me down. Only for the manager to snap at me, for staring in return.
I live in black hawk, and happen to visit the places quite often. Which will no longer happen, as I am beyond disappointed especially to have done nothing wrong.

$125 on a .25 bet! Those AR pretty damn good odds!!

Tasty Hamburgers and thier cuban sandwich is really satisfying not too pricey

No fun , all it the machines are tight they don't even give you a free spin once in a while so money is absorb Fast...

They have the worse play backs ever. If you want to remodel somewhere put it in your own house. The people that work there are great though, I hope they treat them better than there guests. Throw your money out the window alot more dignity.

I love this casino. It's not always crazy crowded like the bigger ones. The grill is freaking awesome. I always stop there and get breakfast.

Increasingly bad experiences with poor service and management (with the exception of a select few employees). As a local resident and employee of a neighboring establishment, I will never again recommend any Z Casino to another person. Money is better spent literally anywhere else.

Love this place. Would be 5 stars but food is always served luke warm. Not the way I like to eat baked potato or my steak.
