Called from VA to purchase football equipment. Tim was awesome. So helpful & friendly. Called me back when he said he would. Contacted the other party I was gifting the equipment to like he said he would. Good Customer service is still alive folks. Highly recommend this location to purchase your sporting goods needs.

Ordering custom orders sucks, they don't come in on time, they dont transfer calls to the correct department, they put you on hold and then you go to voicemail, for a mailbox that doesn't even appear to be setup. Calling into here is a joke to check status of the over month long expected delivery date.
Johnny Mac's has a great selection of gear for a wide variety of sports. Their prices are fair, and the staff generally can help you make informed purchases. I prefer Johnny Mac's over the larger stores due to the knowledgeable staff.
Placed an order for Christmas presents for my clients and the order came back with only 12 of the product good out of 30. The rest were grossly defective. I asked for a refund and they would only give me half my money back. Now I am out Christmas presents for my clients and $180!!! Read their Facebook reviews and you will see this is a prominent trend with this company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JOHNNY MAC'S!!!
My son's baseball team got their uniforms from Johnny Mac's and at the fitting I tried to tell their employee that the smaller size pants wouldn't be long enough but he assured me that was the style and they would be fine. First game rolls around and it's 35 degrees and my son's pants look like shorts. So tonight I had to go back and spend another$25 on another set of pants. Lesson: Don't listen to the guy!
We just went there for the first time not too long ago to get some baseball pants for my son. Wow, this place is amazing. They have a huge selection of clothing and equipment for just about any sport you can think of. They even carry their own brand which seems like a very high quality product. We bought their brand of baseball pants and my son loved them. Personally, I would have like the belt loops to be a bit bigger. I had a hell of a time getting the belt (that I also bought from there) through the loops. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have not been here before, I would give them a look. With my 3 boys in sports, I'm sure I'll be back soon.
I want to start by saying that shopping at Johnny Mac's isn't THAT bad... it's pricey, but they do have a good selection of gear. That being said...
Ordering a jersey from Johnny Mac's was an absolutely awful experience. I odered one jersey (telling them if we liked the product, we'd order more). From there, everything was terrible. The finished product was way late, looked NOTHING like the mock up, and looks AWFUL!! The numbers are crooked and uneven, the jersey is bunched up under the decoration, the braiding is completely awful... I honestly can't BELIEVE how awful this looks. Had it been cheap, fine, but it was terribly expensive and looks like complete trash.

They are a great local company. Make sure you sign up online to receive email coupons. While they may not be the least expensive they have incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff.
The best sporting goods store I've ever frequented. No other store has sales associates who actually know the products.
Horrible customer service. No one seems to be in charge and not even the staff in the uniform office know how their business works. We just spent 45 minutes trying to get our son fitted for his baseball team. Johnny Mac s holds the account but we were handed off to three people who all told us they don t know anything about fittings, uniforms or their ordering system. I m not exactly sure what my son will be wearing this season if this is our only option.
