Very well layed out store with a real choice of quality goods.Their price levels have substantially increased over the period of closure .
This is not an establishment for all but the most well off in society and on a v.f.money star listing they can only be rated as minus 5 stars .
Staff are always amazing, and we had exceptional customer service today. Staff were all running around (it was so busy!) but we're absolutely lovely regardless- Really want to give excellent feedback first to Jan in the soft furnishings department- she went above and beyond to help us find a price for an unmarked clearance sofa even though it wasn't her department! She was so helpful and friendly, absolutely fab customer service. Also want to thank Diane or Diana (sorry can't remember) who helped us sort out a rug.
We only went in to check for fabric for a sofa we planned to order online, only to find a better one for much less money on the clearance. For how busy the store was, we didn't find we had to wait too long to get it all sorted and were quickly and happily on our way out. We knew it would be busy being the first day open after Christmas and the staff were fab given the circumstances.

Just got back from buying bras for my daughter in John Lewis. Although staff can't have contact they were so knowledgeable and helpful - great experience. Keep up the good work, ladies!

John Lewis used to be my go to shop for anything home & electrical. I will be looking elsewhere from now on. The excuse of Covid wears thin and should no longer be an excuse. Perhaps stores closing nationwide is more of a reflection on loyal customers getting sick of being mistreated and deciding to look elsewhere! Hanging up the telephone and holding on to money for orders that cannot be fulfilled is not the way your once reputable brand was established.
