I usually come here just to get the apple pie. It is about $10 and is very good. There is a crunchy crust with soft apple inside. The apple is not too sweet. Everything is topped off with vanilla icecream.

The restaurant is romantic and moody. It gives off a vintage feel. I feel the staff could be friendlier thought but its alright.

It took a little while for a server to notice us but once she did, service was very good. I had a beef dip with soup and it was surprisingly good.

It was a Friday lunch and the place was packed but with a very short wait at the door.

I would have given a 5 star review but the food didn't 'wow' me. It was good but lacked a little panache.

Called in last minute for a table for 10, they took our party no problem (In the private room). Unfortunately we did wait awkwardly as they set the table as we walked in. Drinks were few and far between, and some didn't even make it to our table. The food was absolutely amazing as to be expected! We had no mix ups and everyone got exactly what they ordered. I do believe the server may have been new and was struggling with a party of 10. The rest of the restaurant was empty and we were constantly waiting for drinks. Once we finished dessert, we had asked for our bills which took an hour and a half. The server had trouble splitting the bills and didn't know who ordered what. They ended up having to redo the bills completely. The manager came to our table after an hour of waiting to inform us it wouldn't be much longer. We had to ask for another round of drinks on the house for the inconvenience. No discount or anything offered for my birthday. It's unfortunate to have received horrid service. We had a 2 year old with us and it took 3.5 hours from start to finish. I will not likely be returning to this location, and hope other people are cautious about going with such a large party.

I was incredibly impressed with how easy and smoothly everything went. From placing my order with a super friendly and helpful person on the phone, to the amazingly efficient and timely drive in service we received. Excellent job. My parents who are in their 70's usually go to Joey Crowfoot for their special occasions. Today was their anniversary so I picked up their favorite meal (including a lava cake and ice cream) and delivered it to them. They were thrilled. Thank you to all, amazing job!!

I feel like you go to Joeys because you want something affordable and of good quality. It's nothing mind blowing but it's always good. Good service, clean, buzzing ambiance, fresh food...

I got the seared tuna salad and a Moscow mule. Salad is one of my favourite salads ever - tuna was seared well and if was fresh, and the salad was lightly dressed.

We had a great time on Saturday night at Joey. Our server was Thomas and he was friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. He ensured our food and drinks were amazing. Our son has but allergies and he was careful to let the kitchen know. We enjoyed wings, goyza and desserts: apple pie with MAPLE ice cream and the mini donuts. Such a fun time. It was also quite quiet considering it was a Saturday night. We ll be back! Thanks.

We used to love Joey Crowfoot, but the last few times we have gone there, we have been disappointed. The last two times we have eaten there they have forgotten a meal at our table, so one person is sitting while everyone else is eating. Both times they never offered any discount or a complimentary dessert. For the restaurant obviously just another day at the restaurant but for us spending over $200 just another time we are disappointed.

10 stars if I could! Staff are absolutely impeccable and the food is delicious. A friend of mine had mistaken the "pepper shaker" and went to sprinkle a bit on,...well it turns out it was soy sauce. He laughed it off as the manager went out of his way to make sure he got another salad. Good times.

There are always great servers at this location that know the value of being personable and interacting with the clientele. Great prices at happy hour if you are popping in for a beer after work, with the added bonus of some great food. Good location for me but it is the staff that make the experience.

I've been to this Joey's a couple of time just out of convenience and I'm going to say that i have never been overly impressed with this location unfortunately. To be clear before I start, the food is adequate and pretty standard but I was surprised when I noticed the menu was different from some of the other Joey's I have been too.

This last time I was there was during stampede in the summer and the service was SO slow and inefficient. I can understand slow service when it's really busy or if maybe there is a rush or you're short staffed but this didn't really appear to be any of those things. Our server took a long time to take our order, she didn't check on us after we got our food and at the end I had also asked for part of my meal to be boxed up but our waitress missed that part and threw out the rest of my meal. She did have the kitchen remake the part that she threw out, however after a already mediocre experience it was just one more thing.

When we asked for our bill, this also took a while as I think the staff were having a mini staff meeting in front of the kitchen (all the servers were standing in a corner with what looked like a manager). I looked around the floor and there was not a single staff member on the floor with customers. I guess from an operational stand point of having had family run business at one point, this just seemed unprofessional.

Would I go back to this Joey's? I suppose if I didn't have an option or if a friend really wanted to but considering the other options in the area, I am more likely to try somewhere else.

Took visiting family from Toronto to this restaurant. Food was average, service was ok. They forgot half my wife's meal and forgot to bring my son a refill. What really earns the one star rating is that I was wearing a support 81 hoodie and took it off during my meal but was approached by Calgary police gang suppression unit saying that I will be removed from the restaurant for wearing this hoodie supporting a local motorcycle club. Motorcycle clubs are not gangs!

So I decided to get some take out today have my valentines dinner early and man did I get screwed. I ended up paying 75$ for 3 items 2 meals and a starter first off the the starter was over cooked. The "lobster" and prawn only came with 4 prawns and 10 raviolis whaaaat the f**k. so the steak was good except it came with a small scoop of vegetables and 2 rolls. for 75$ I should have gotten a lot more meal for my dollars value. thanks guys........

We have eaten here quite a few times over the past year as it is nice to have a restaurant with more gluten free options than a salad. Staff are always attentive with our children and service is always great. We appreciate the extra care taken to ensure my food is safe and we have never had an issue. Being celiac it is nice to have a restaurant nearby that is safe. Even when we have ordered take out we have been very happy with the food .

Visited this location a couple times in the last month. The second most recent visit I was out to dinner with my spouse. He ordered a burger on a gluten free bun and when it arrived was completely bare. No condiments or even burger toppings. It unfortunately took us at least 15 minutes to flag down our waiter. They brought the plate back to have the burger properly dressed and that also took about 15-20 minutes. Waiter was very nice but the service was just super slow. Food was cold and sadly tasteless by the time we were able to eat it. Worst bit was that they decided to discontinue their Bellinis for whatever odd reason.

Came to Joey's at a super busy time, lunch time, but still received excellent service and great food. Had appies for lunch and a couple of drinks. Everyone was run off their feet, but didn't miss a beat... Great job staff, and kitchen staff too. We'll be back!

Came in on Sat evening was told there was a 25 minute wait, we waited for 35 minutes and once we went in to check how long it will take were told there is no wait, and it says on their system that we were already seated. Anyway these things can happen but try compensate people for their time wasted. The food was pricey and below average as well, my burger was also taken back because it was completely pink from the inside although I asked for Medium-well. The waitress was good though

Celebrated with Mom. Second time eating here. Great location and staff. Our server Andrea was very attentive of our needs. Place was cozy-upscale and ambiance was great. Manager at that time gave extra appies. We both had steak, medium rare was perfectly executed by the chef and served warm, with noticeably appetizing food plating. Flavour of the food was spot on. Timely rounds were made by manager, who made sure Mom was having an awesome time, enjoying her meal, for her first time visit. Decided to get dessert and it did not disappoint. Parking is fair to okay. Highly recommended.

Poor service. I'm not sure what it is about this location, but each time I've been, I have waited at least ten minutes after being seated before someone comes to the table to take our drink order. The follow up on if anything else is needed takes too long. Each time I give Joey Crowfoot another chance, the problems are the same. Part of the dining experience is excellent customer service and Joey Crowfoot does not deliver.

It's a consistent meal experience that can cater to all types of crazy requests, like dairy free, gluten free and vegan. That was my mom. I ordered a burger and fries. Atmosphere can be a bit loud, and despite it being an "upper scale" place, there is always the push to get you in and out as quickly as possible. When you need a beverage refreshment, they aren't always there. It can take a while.

Our experience here wasn't great. We waited a long time to have our order taken. Then the waitress didn't refill my coffee after I asked her to. She also threw out my fries that I had asked to box up.
The staff had a meeting that lasted longer than 10min in the middle of dinner time.
The food was good and the place was clean.

My son visited me from Vancouver and took me to Joey's on the 26th Sept. we both had different bowls on the menu, unfortunately for him by morning he was terribly sick, and was told he had food poisoning, for three days he was not well in anyway, and when he left for Vancouver on Monday he was still lethargic headache and not feeling 100%. I thought that you should know that this happened as it was the only food he had during the time he arrived and becoming ill.

We will never come again, we also found that the booth we had seemed to be higher than usual and I (82yrs) did not feel at all comfortable, reaching for my food. I see you have good reviews, but this one is not.

Joey is open for dine in service again. The are seating people at every second table and appear to be taking social distancing seriously. The food was very good like usual. They had their separate gluten free frier running which is important to us.

Our evening started off ok with pleasant hostess staff tht gave a polite smile, but it went down hill from there. Service was slow, something in the bar exploded sprayed our table, only water, ai had to ask for a napkin to dry myself off. When ai told the waitress I was told it had happened to her last week. Ordered a med rare steak and it was blue. Pointed tht out and she only offered to redo the steak and hve me wait longer. Our bill was over $400 between 3 people you would think tht would get you a decent meal at Joeys. I think I will stick to the NE location where tht food and service is 2nd to none. To bad my friend lives across the street from crowfoot.

Had the Steak frites - I asked for medium well, came out medium/rare - was tough and tasteless. They did take this off the bill without me even asking which I appreciated. .....Just the overall slow service and incorrectly cooked, tough, steak though, didn't make for a great dining experience. I won't be back.

It s been my second time to Joey Crowfoot and both times the service has been good and the food very tasty. On my last visit, Salma was my bartender and she provided exceptional service. She was super friendly and attentive, the beers were cold, and the food was hot! The Gyoza were incredible and presented beautifully. The contrast in texture for the Gyoza was on point, as they were nice and chewy yet had a delightful crispiness on the bottom. I am upset they don t have the the pressed sushi anymore though, as that dish was one of my favourites in the city. They do currently have one of the best happy hours in Calgary, (which the Gyoza is on) so be sure to hit it up.

Always an enjoyable experience. I have yet to have a bad experience.Food has always been great.prices are comparable to other restaurants in the same class. (although my daughter was upset no more keylime pies). staff are always a pleasure to deal with. Atmosphere is always inviting and warm.

An excellent experience. The staff from hostesses to servers have always been accommodating and attentive to our requests each time we've been there.

Ample parking space. Scrumptious food and reasonably priced for an evening out. The drink and menu selections have enough vatiety to satisfy most folks and find that sweet spot to not be overwhelming with options.

There's a general professional relaxness cum family friendly high end feel to the ambience. The staff is impeccably attired and the lighting is dim enough to allow an unwinding along with your beverage of choice.

We go here regularly and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing evening or fun lunch!

Even though two, we prefer a booth over a table for two by the wall. Front server said the booths are reserved but while here, lots open. As i told my wife, Joeys Crowfoot is very expensive and really not that great. Front Staff are stuck up!
