Wanted to try an afternoon at Joey's for the first time. Covid protocols are in place, I felt safe for the most part. The plastic Hannibal masks are a joke. Girlfriend of my mine ordered the happy hour steak and fries, when it arrived the steak was tough and on-top of sliced tomatoes for some reason? Created a watery mess under the steak, which was accompanied by the worst arugula salad we have ever tasted. My chicken rice bowl didn't taste fresh at all. Overall the main dishes were very disappointing. The saving grace of the meal was the fresh donuts we had for dessert. They were absolutely delicious. Probably will never come back to this restaurant.

Recently Inconsistent.

We've been coming to Joey Crowfoot on a very regular basis for over 5 years. Wife and I are creatures of habit and have our favourite dishes we order every single time. Unfortunately over the past 6 months or so, our meals have not been prepared well. The Hunan Kung Pow dish has had next to no veggies, or the soy chicken is under cooked and has a rubber texture to it or its made so spicy it's not eatable. Also the tandoori chicken flatbread was quite bland and lacked the tandoori flavour.

The service is always great and pleasant it feels as if something has changed in the kitchen that impacting the quality of the meals.

Was there two nights ago. Had the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Thr noodles were broader than the store bought spaghetti noodles one normally sees, and had a handmade look and texture to them. They were very tasty, particularly in accompaniment with the lightly seasoned, delicate, low-acid tomato sauce there were tossed in. The bites had a good chew and went down nicely and the meal did not feel heavy in the stomach like some pasta feasts do. Despite these words of praise, this was not the best part of the dish. It was the 4 large meatballs who were the stars of the show; delicious and so tender I didn't need my knife to cut into them. The side of my fork sufficed. They did a really great job on the food and, as an added bonus, there was no post-tomato-sauce heartburn to speak of.

My from out of country colleagues, who are of a British-style gentlemanly and proper manner, ended up putting their knives and forks down and really dug in to their perfectly cooked, saucy BBQ pork ribs with fingers and much gusto. I think it is safe to say they were very pleased with their meals.

The service could have been a little better, but understandable given it was a packed house.

Been going to this location specifically for the last couple years. Got extremely mistreated by kaylee and Emma and the hostess. Never coming to this location ever again, joeys has multiple locations through calgary, choosing which one always depended on the service, and Joey crowfoot is off the list. Hopefully you guys can re-evaluate your hiring criteria.

We went Thursday around 6:30 with two toddlers and it was busy. We were kinda nervous that food will take long and kids will be crying but all our worries was gone as they have great service (Jessica), food was quick from appetizers and kids meal, main meal and dessert. Kids are happy and so is the parents ..

Our waitress Lindsay was a great host. Shared some good laughs at our brother in law's expense. Well worth it and we will definitely return to visit her again!

The food is always great- and a beautiful day for a patio meal

Everything here was wonderful. Our server, Alison, was what made it all better. She was prompt on the drinks, didn't rush us to get our orders spat out, and food was delicious. And most importantly, Alison didn't wait till our mouths were full to ask us how things were tasting. And the ice cream was tasty.

Service wasn t bad, but the dim lighting and loud music were extremely distracting and made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Many of the appetizers were greasy, but that s typical of most American style food. The main course itself wasn t bad, albeit a little pricey and a little bland. Skip on the dessert though, sweeter than it should be, and a very limited selection. If you re looking for something moderately classier than your average dinner, this place isn t bad, but there are better options in the city.

Liked thier sushi and steak dish. Although I don t understand why their tip starts from 18% when they don t really check back on customers. Server came to ask about how we like the food before we start the dishes so we just said it looks so good and server never came back. Our drink never got filled up. My friend ran out of her pop first and started taking mine. We ran out of our drink before half way we finish our dish. They were so unorganized even they are not short staffed.

I've dined on the patio, at the bar area, dining room, and in the private room. All I can say is great food and great drinks. Classy establishment.

Steaks are always under or overcooked, and been served semi frozen ribs on multiple occasions. Good hot wings

I just got take out (delivered by door dash). Got the California Chicken Sandwich with the new Cobb and a tandoori chicken flatbread. Everything was perfect! And it was less than 30 min from order to at my door. 10/10 would recommend.

A really busy place but that's just a side effect of having great tasting high quality food!

Really good food, good service, I just wish they had a few more vegetarian options. They do offer soy "chicken" but there aren't a lot of things on the menu it goes well on.

Its not bad. Been in better been in worse, same prices as other similar restaurants but I do have to say the Ny Strip was perfect melted in my mouth just a dam good steak.

I love to come here during happy hour for a great meal for not too much. I just wish they had more craft beer!

Food is pretty good for chain restaurant. Lettuce wrap was good and beef dip was ok.

we arrived around 1:30 sat afternoon for dinner for 5 before going to a movie. we were greeted right away & our server was very quick to serve us drinks. we got our food in about 20 min which was great even with the place being quit busy. 2 of us ordered steak which was a little cold but still very tasty. we did let our server know this & she said she would pass our comment along & within a few min the manager was there offering us a 25 dollar gift card. we gave a 5 star because the staff was right on the ball & the food was still good over all. Thank you for the great service, we will definitely go back to this joeys.

Meh. The pretty but immature and inexperienced serving staff at Joey aren t worth frequent visits.

There are too many good restaurants in Calgary to visit versus navigating many of the fumbling young serving staff at Joey Crowfoot.

Food was served cold. Waiter got our drink order wrong and also our food. Not impressed.

I want to commend all of your excellent staff for their professionalism and hard work during these difficult times. Working for a restaurant delivery service, I've seen how insanely busy this location has become during peak times. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry I can understand how stressful it can get at times where everything is happening at once too. Keep up the good work!

This place is absolutely the best on so many levels. We frequently eat here and last night was our 1st anniversary and the staff and managers made our evening the best. The atmosphere, amazing food and cocktails were all perfect as usual. We highly recommend this location for gold star service. Thanks for the making our night one of the best and we will always be back for our special occasion.

Had a great experience. Our waiter was top notch and always made sure we were topped up on water and checked to make sure our food experience was going well.
The food was also good. My main go to is fish tacos and it was without a doubt one of the best ones I have ever had in the city.

Meh... old menu was way better like I mean old menu 10 years ago . This new one sucks. Not alot of chkice things all kinda blend together. I want old joeys back.

We always enjoy eating at Joey's Crowfoot.

To put it simply it's kind of like a cross between an Earl's and a Keg restaurant. But I prefer it by far over both of those restaurants. I think the main thing I like about this restaurant is the professionalism of the management and staff.

It's clear to me this restaurant has a formula and it works. Which, again, points to excellent management.

The staff are extremely friendly and nicely dressed. In my experience they all seem to be happy to be there.

The patio is spacious and offers heaters in cooler weather. There is great selection of beers, wines and spirits. The menu selections are varied and inventive.

I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I really enjoyed the watermelon drink and the spring roll potato s were really good, would honestly make that an appetizer on its own!.. but I feel the service was lacking and confusing. We had another server come up throughout our appetizer to inform us they would be our server instead, but then our first server continued to serve us. So we ended up having two serves throughout the night, which left us confused and was not necessary. Although we had two servers I felt the service was still lacking, no one checked in to see how the food tasted once we were brought our entrees and we were never given the right cutlery for our dishes. Had a wait awhile to get our food taken togo and get the check. Not sure if I ll go to this location again.

Nice semi-casual atmosphere, excellent service and terrific food reasonably priced.

Joey used to be a decent place to go for a quick meal but I don't know what they're trying to do here. The lighting in this place is horrible and uncomfortable. It felt like all the staff were working their first shift as wait staff. The food was not good but the prices were at the upper end of what you would expect for this category of restaurant. It wasn't the worst experience I've had dining out but it was pretty mediocre. With so many better options I can't see why I'd ever go back here.

Portions were small. Ordered the prawn and lobster ravioli. There were 5 raviolis in the dish. Seems a little light for $29. Service was okay. Nothing to wrote home about. There's better options out there for sure.

We have been today in Joe's Crowfoot for late lunch and we really enjoyed the calamari - crispy and awesome taste of dip as well, steaks were tender and the service from Gabriell and other servers was fantastic. Thank you for this experience.. We will be back.

Delicious food and great service but cleanliness was lacking. Lots of crumbs, salt and stains on our seats.

The wait was so long and the tacos were terrible it s of full of cabbage and tomatoes and the fish fillet was divided between four tacos we could hardly see the fish only a strip of fried covering of the fish I would never go back again to the crowfoot joey my first exp here was bad but gave it a try again but it s worst now

Fantastic food and good service. Only complaint is that even though there were lots of other kids, they don't seem to want to cater to children. No booster or high chairs offered, no kids menu and my 3 year olds drink was served in a very thin glass.

Great service for a big party with no booking (would recommend doing the booking thing, I was just an annoying customer catered for really well).

Go here pretty regularly on weekends. Food and service is always good and consistent

Top notch! My family and I came in for lunch earlier today and we were pleasantly surprised when 11 of us were able to get a table almost right away. Since the moment we walked in our expectations were exceeded. Our server Monica was absolutely fantastic and so personable. She was able to accommodate to all of our needs while providing care and attention to our dietary requirements. Food came in a timely manner and everything was delicious. What can I say, we had an amazing experience!

The only disappointing thing is that they took their peach bellinis off the menu which was definitely a JOEY staple.

Friendly staff, only adequate food. Sometimes the burgers are really dry or really greasy.

Stopped for a quick nosh, was surprised with... a stop and "Hey... This is Really good!... Like Really Good! moment, on the first few bites. Kudos to the kitchen!

Too noisy, saucy, salty and sugary. Salmon on it's own was all that impressed.

We booked the private room for my wife's birthday party. It is at the front door so it was a little loud but was nice to have some privacy and a big table to seat us all. Food was great as well as the service.

Reservation booked for wrong date and unfortunately was treated like I had my fathers birthdate wrong rather than there was a mistake on their end. Once sorted was fine but was a little disappointing.

Appetizers were fresh and hot, prior to being shown to our seats we were offered a sample of bubbly. The staff are also knowledgeable about the items on the menu and can help you with your decision making should you be stuck deciding.

Always enjoy the food and the ambience. Several visits and same feeling. Keep it up guys

It is quite a nice place in NW Calgary area with outdoor cozy sitting in summer. Food is not excellent but above good.

Service was ok overall though we were ignored by the hostess for about 10mins until we politely interrupted her and asked if should to keep waiting for someone to seat us or if we should seat ourselves. The hostess looked up at us slowly and said she could seat us right away but didn't earlier because she thought we were leaving. I didn't respond and brushed it off but I think she would have seen us walk in and politely try to make eye contact had she looked up at least once. As for the food: Salmon was a bit dry but veggies and sauce were amazing.
