Upscale but casual. Decent food, bar is good for sports. Younger, trendier crowd (professional types.) Seems to be making more of a concerted effort towards customer service with an active floor manager visiting tables regularly on my last visit.

I wish there is less than one star lol! This place is a very good restaurant but it lacks good service and sitting

I wish I had a telephone number of owner and ask him to send some friends to the restaurant to check how the severs are treating people

20 minuets wait to sit in an empty restaurant, No outside sitting because the manger is not there! Unbelievable!

It seemed to be run by teeangers. Multiple mistakes made in order taking and delivery of food. Food itself was average to below average. Steak ordered was very undercooked (ordered medium and it was delivered very rare) with no apology offered. I will not return.

Used to like that place, and do like other locations.. but Bellevue lost my business for good.. I would rather eat @Subway with service I got there last time... High end priced place with lowest type of service around Bellevue square! And btw blonde girl that acts like manager or something, and pretty boy that does window side tables should get fired... They just good for one thing - to help ppl never come back here.

Nice, place that has separate bar and restaurant where you can relax, watch the Bellevue crowds. It is super convenient for afterwork meet up if your are locate on the Eastside of Lake Washington. Prompt service too.

The food was not good quality
Servers had attitude and not friendly
We left for 10 minutes or more without a server
She forgot to bring soya sauce for sushi and brought empty bowl for us looks like she was drunk and I was told waiting list would be 2 hours I checked after 45 minutes and she checked the list and it was obvious she lost my name asked me to wait so she can check with some one , I guess her manager she backed and said we texted you and you did not respond that was a lie I showed her my phone and I said you told me 2 hours now it is just 45 minutes she said I have a table for you ...surprisingly !!!!it was bad experience never back again

Disappointing visit. I love the lettuce wraps with shrimp, but the lettuce cups were nearly frozen, limp, and wilted. These shouldn't have been served. Took FOREVER to get fresh lettuce, and by then the food was cold. Calamari was tasty. Service was slow on iced tea refills. And omg, the bar is LOUD. Be prepared to yell your conversation. The restaurant and outdoor seating looks lovely, I wish we sat there instead.

The Teresita service was very good. I do not know what is happening with the wait time for the food, since it took 25 minutes and the food is of very low quality and has no flavor, it does not bother me to pay a good meal as long as it is worth it. I do not know if I came back

Bad service !!! Sat us down without silverware, no kids menu available, took forever to take our order after the appetizer came. I had to approach the waitress to take our order. The bonus was the hostess venting her problems with her girlfriend by the men's room. I will never come to this place if it's the last place open in town !!!

Food was good. Service wasn't great. They forgot to put in our food order for like 30 min? Their craft beer board mentioned 'Deschutes Rotator' but the Waitress said 'if it's not on the menu we don't have it'. I don't think she knew what she was doing.

Erin recommended the hibachi wings and they were pure perfection. Next she told us about the rotisserie chicken, asparagus, mashed egg rolled potatoes with tomato gravy. Just typing this my mouth is watering. This meal is indescribably delicious. Server was great, drinks, views, atmosphere and the price point was excellent. I wish that I could bring this place to Chicago and hire Erin at every restaurant!!!

Creative and delicious! We had drinks, and then moved on to dinner. We had filet mignon, salmon, and lobster & shrimp ravioli. We were totally blown away by the crispy mashed potatoes- so imaginative! We ended with dessert: donuts w/ marscapone and personal sized apple pie.

It gets very crowded and if you like to go see pretty waitresses this is fine. For my taste the food is not very good so I give it 4 stars but to have a drink after working with colleagues is fine.

This place is awesome. If you want to catch some sports and try a few snacks or comfort food, you can't go wrong here. The staff is very professional and nice. My favorite menu item is the hamburger, and my wife loves the chocolate lava cake here.

We were greeted with glasses of champagne. Service was very attentive. Margarita was not strong enough but tasted good. Gyoza was delicious. Want to go back for desserts that looked delicious.

I cannot express how much I loved my dinner. We got lettuce wraps for an appetizer and steak for dinner. The steak was amazing and they serve a special kind of mashed potatoes better then any potato I have tasted. The atmosphere is great. Dim lights, classy and you can still enjoy a sports game on tv. Only complaint is I'm 90% certain the drinks were being made with half a shot. They weren't cheap and having a history in bartending I just didn't feel I got my money's worth there. Regardless, I will return for a meal whenever I am in Bellevue.

The food brought it down from 5 to 4 stars. Our fries were cold and my salmon wasn't very good, undercooked and dripping with oil from being fried. I'd like to see a few healthier items that aren't fried or covered in some sort of heavy sauce.

The staff are wonderful, though. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. The beautiful patio creates the perfect atmosphere. Sitting with friends or loved ones under the stars and maybe a drink or two, make for an almost magical experience - well worth trying. We'll be back for another try during happy hour.

Stuck in a corner. No silverware. Very very small double scotch. So small we had to complain. As an apology the house offered to buy first round. But there it was on our bill. Just think we must of smelled bad or something. Go to earls instead.

I was in love with this place.. But, Not Anymore !! They have cut down their menu. I was a regular customer and I always used to order their flat breads and wings. After a hiatus, I took my friends who came down to Seattle on a visit. To my surprise, they removed everything from their menu. Now I do not see their best selling items. I totally understand, if they want the place to be more like a bar. What about appetizers? They right now have a very limited menu and that too, not very pleasing.
I also noticed a change in the behavior of girls/guys who serve the tables. They were far from being cordial. Did something happen to this place? Come on guys, do not lose your customers!!

I've been here twice and not impressed. It's more for looks than quality. The best thing I consumed was the fries. The burger wasn't anything I couldn't make at home, the soda was extremely flat so I got a lemonade instead, which came pretty sour but better than flat soda.. Haha. Plus side is the staff were nice, plus they validate parking.

Went for happy hour, great prices and environment. Unfortunately, there was only one server in the entire bar area and the wait time was extensive. They were out of the beer I asked for which is always possible at a busy establishment.

The alcoholic drinks were quite watered down and underwhelming.
Service is satisfactory and food is great. Pricing is definitely on the higher side but the food is tasty with sufficient quantity.
Do try the melt in mouth rotisserie.

First time visiting the Bellevue Joey s location. Definitely felt more like a restaurant than a lounge when compared to the Seattle location. Pricey drinks and food, but just above mediocre quality.

Good food and drinks. Built more around the bar and that s fine because the food was not offensive. Spent 85$ I could say it s worth it. A funny thing was I had some drinks and did not feel drunk until I tried to see a movie. That s a different story but still worth the experience of JOEY Bellevue. I recommend it. One star short of 5 just because it seemed to be a bar first and restaurant was built around the bar. I liked it a lot

Horrible service right here from Jacob. I've been here many times and always were friendly stuff. But Jacob is just a piece of art. Disrespectful attitude and bad service. I hope next time he will not be on the shift.

Wow. That was the worst service I've ever experienced in Bellevue. And it was the first time we had to walk out of a restaurant in all the years we've lived here.

Within 40 minutes that we've stayed there, we could get couple slices of key lime pie. How hard for it be?!

It took them ~15 minutes to bring us water, by that point we were already ready to order, and we did. Within the next ~25 minutes no one has checked in us, or said that pies are coming. We actually managed to run out of water, lol.

The weirdest thing was that when we were walking out no one tried to stop us, or even noticed us.

If you are in a group of men, you'll probably have better time, as push-up bras will be shmoozing you for tips. Otherwise - skip this place.

Hi! I had my 22nd Birthday dinner at JOEY and had to come back for my 23rd as well. It's all because of Erin. She is amazing and hosted my party and I with such kindness and fun. She made the experience great and just made sure we were all taken care of. Last year there was a mix up of reservations and she quickly sprang into action and made the whole thing better and went above and beyond this year to make the experience awesome. My friends and I were just talking about how much fun we had. We agreed it wasn't just the food or drinks (although that was all good too) but it was the people who were there to make the experience. You rarely find places that make you feel so comfortable dining there and make you want to come back time and time again not just for the food but simply because it makes you happy to be there. Overall, Erin really is the definition of excellent, top tier customer experience. So glad she is at Bellevue!

Joey's Bellevue is a great place to have some local craft beers, watch your favorite sporting events, yummy appetizers, great meals and a perfect place to meet for first dates or take someone special for dinner or drinks. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable & friendly, lots of parking around, cozy environment and a classy joint. Check out Joey's Bellevue on your next visit to downtown. TIP: The outside beer garden is quiet, cozy and a great place to have some drinks with friends.

So a group of friends and I went out to Joey's Friday night and we decided to smash some food here. Came in and we were greeted and got seated very quickly. We had Gillette (Blonde hair colored young lady) and Christina both helped our table out. Their service was matchless. You could tell these girls are passionate about their job because they carried a smile the entire time! Never had to ask to fill cups, both of the young ladies frequently checked on us to make sure every request was met. It definitely made our night! Honestly these girl deserve a raise. And if I was their manager I would buy these girls dinner.

By far the worst Joey s restaurant I have ever been to. Can t understand why the food was so bad here especially since the location is great and the restaurant itself is really nice. Also based on the previous reviews I was not anticipating a subpar experience here.
Everything we ordered was really, really bad. The tuna avocado roll was ice cold... almost as if it had been pre-made and put in the fridge for awhile. I understand sushi isn t normally served warm, but every time I ve had this roll, it s never been this cold. A few of us ordered the chicken sandwich and our buns were cold, the truffle fries were cold and soggy. Oh and the BBQ salmon bowl was drenched in way too much sauce. Overall a very disappointing dinner and service. It could have been an off night for this restaurant but for a family visiting from out of town, we probably were better off staying in and ordering room service at our hotel. We didn't even feel comfortable listing all the issues to the waitress because there were simply so many issues with the food itself! Literally every single thing we ordered was cold, soggy or just overall very very bad. Needless to say, we will be steering clear of this restaurant next time we visit. For a restaurant with multiple locations across North America, Joey's Bellevue needs to do better!

Went to dinner at Joeys for my wifes birthday. Made reservations for 4 at least a week in advance. When we got there, our friends were not there yet, so they took us to our table, which was in the bar. I was never told that we would not be in the dining room. The table was set for 2. When our friends showed up we had to ask for 2 additional menus, which never came. Took forever for our friends to get a server to order drinks.

We finally got our drinks and ordered food. It took what seemed like a long time to get the food. My wife ordered the braised short ribs and they were served on cold mashed potatoes. I had the Butchers Sandwich (french dip). The sandwich was cold, the aus jus was cold and the fries were cold and greasy.

The bill was $175 including tip and needless to say I dont feel like it was worth it. I wont go back and I certainly will let my friends know about our experience.

BTW this is the 2nd review I wrote because I didnt see tbe 1st one posted.

Erin and Jillian are amazing.. they had amazing service and they were really nice. I really liked Erin because she was really nice to me and accommodating. I never thought joeys would be so pleasing, but I was defiantly surprised. Eat there as much as possible. Dine in with good service. Love it...

great appetizers, typical good looking staff but with an attitude. i dont remember ever sitting in the bar section and not receiving an attitude from the female staff, not one to complain about the wait in a busy restaurant, but the server purposely avoided me for no reason for at least half an hour. otherwise great food, sushi, sliders, atmosphere.

Erin the manager looked at my ID and said it wasn't real and she didn't feel comfortable serving my friend and I (with and Arizona ID). We then retaliated because our ID's are real and we are 22 and 23. She called the security and the sheriffs and 5 of them ended up coming. Once they proved our ID's are real, then she threw the ID's back at us, and didn't even apologize. The bar manger Kasidee however, came and apologized and gave us complimentary champagne. She was so sweet and so professional. She needs to be the general manager of this place. She is so sweet and caring but still caries herself with professionalism. I ended up staying just because of her even though I felt so attacked. I don't understand why Erin is a manager here. She is so rude and disrespectful, even after her assumptions being proved wrong, she never apologized and threw my card back to me with such attitude and then tried to threaten my friends and I by trying to kick us out for our attitude. Honestly if it wasn't for Kasidee saving the day and calming me down, I wouldn't have ordered here and would've just left. I think Erin needs to be let go.

Great restaurant with one of the best patios in Downtown Bellevue, tucked right in-between Bellevue Square and the Hyatt Regency. Happy Hour is always amazing- if it's you're first time, try the Gyoza and a SuperSonic cocktail (house specialty).

I usually eat here when I am in town. Food is good and bar selection is excellent. I found the service to friendly and accommodating. The bar and grill guys are fantastic! They each gave me personalized recommendation on my meal and preparation. It was great. I am heading back in 1 week - see you on the 23rd ;). Only reason it was not 5 stars was the price. It is a bit expensive, but as an occasional treat, I think it is worth it.

Awesome staff (who get a little sick of the constant Christmas parades lol), awesome food, awesome ambience. Did I mention the awesome staff...? Can't go wrong with JOEY anywhere I know of

I always forget about this place when I come to Be...

I always forget about this place when I come to Bellevue but when I am asked where to eat and look at the places around, this place always pops up in my search. The place has a modern vibe and has great decor. It is a little dim during the day on the inside so if you want better lighting, request to sit near the outer edges of the place. On the nice days, there is also seating outside.

They have a lot of variety on their menu that often makes it hard for me to choose what I want to order. I have ordered their sushi even though they are not a sushi place and it is decent, not on the list of what I would recommend but not bad either. The Protein-Style Burger has too much lettuce in my opinion, the ratio of lettuce to meat/toppings is a little off. It is pretty easy to peal some of the layers off though so not a big deal.

I have also tried the Korean Fried Cauliflower which is still probably my favorite appetizer from here. The Steaks are pretty good as well. They have different options to order but I normally end up with the Steak Frites. One, I love fries and two, the pricing is a little high for me to justify the others unless I am splitting them.

Good selection of drinks, good wait staff and good options from food to happy hour for drinks. Packed during normal peak periods but if you come a little earlier than a game starting or earlier in the evening, it is not difficult to find seating. Close to everything downtown.
