Friendly service by the owner Joe, But the food took close to 50 mins to get to us. A table of 6 and their were only 2 other people in the whole bar. Also the burgers were extremely bland and greasy.
Gizzards are too soft no texture. Everything else is average.
Definitely a hole in the wall, but I take my orders to go, so who cares? Yep, the gizzards are a little greasy, but oh man... theyre good. Try the different flavors. Never disappointed.
I'm pretty sure Guy Fieri got some special treatment when he went in, as the gizzards I had were nowhere near as flavorful and succulent as he described them. Joe's has ok food, but it was extremely overhyped by DD&D. The atmosphere also wasn't extremely impressive, and the food actually took kind of a long time to get out to the table. It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had, but I won't be going back.
Can't say I had ever tried gizzards before going there. I thoroughly enjoyed them and the pork cracklings. Good cold beer and a very friendly staff. Would definitely go again if back in the area.
Fantastic, great and Supercalafraglific, Guy was right. This place has an old southern hospitality feel about it. Our server Stephanie was fantabulous and the food was great, we'll be coming back
I love this bar! It's my kinda place! Lol! Great place for food and drinks. The prices are amazing, $2 Taco Monday's and $5 burgers on Wednesday nothing nice but to accompanying with a Mr. Daniels and coke that will make it a classic from the barrel. Bring family and friends and stay all night you wont be disappointed! Staff is cool as hell too!

I can t wait to get back! We stopped on the way back from K-Zoo, being that my brother knew of this place. Hands Down the best gizzards by a long shot! Ice cold beer pitchers and great staff, and super cute as well. Perfect small bar with great eats and great servers!

They have great real hamburgers and the gizzards were good too. Would eat rhere again and recommend this place to everyone rhat is in the area.
Nice little place with ice cold beer and good food. Waitress was greeted everyone that came through the door as if they knew them. Live DJ with customer interaction ( games ). I personally stopped in for the gizzards and funnel cakes, which they no longer make, but I got elephant ears instead.

Had not stopped out for some time but remembered food was always good and so is the staff. Good news is great food and staff is still very much a staple here. Have decided to keep our visits regular not every so often.
O. M. G. This place is AWESOME! Same place that was on Diners, Drives & Dives. Small town home feel. The food and the portion size of the food is also AWESOME! Price wise, think cheeper than Applebee's. Did I mention the food was AWESOME! Service/Server was Covid friendly and talked us thru the menu. The owner stopped around and talked for a few minutes. Inside is older but very clean and again, VERY Covid 19 clean and sanitized. Pics are the Gizzard Plate with Fries. A side order of deep fried Green Olives (Delish) w/Ranch dip. Chicken Tenders and Onion Rings! We got the sampler deep fried desert plate. Also AWESOME! Highly recommend Joe's for the whole family! Deff will be going back to try more food and apps from the menu! $$

Gizzards were not all that good. Basicly just okay bar food. Not a bad place to stop if your already there but nothing to go out of the way for. Staff was friendly.
Rarely do I ever give 5 stars out. Joe's Gizzard City definitely gets them. Walked in and I felt like this is my local bar. The staff is some of the best staff I have ever came across.
The food was spot on, again some the best. I have ever had on the road. Gizzards were soft and cooked to perfection. The Triple D burger was a special treat as well.
If you like low key kinda divey places then what's not to love about Joe's? Great eats, great staff in a quiet location. It's a regular stop for me anymore.
Best little unknown place in the central Michigan area. Gizzards are awesome, good selection of drinks, and the people there are friendly and more than willing to help you with anything.

If you're not a local you may not feel comfortable. This is a dive bar, hence the reference from Diners, Drive Ins & Dives.
I got the fried chicken which was deep fried in like a corn dog like batter. It was awful. My husband got the fried fish which he liked. But the restaurant was his idea so he wasn't going to complain. I ate a few french fries then I got fast food on the way home because I was still hungry.
I would not recommend this place unless you're interested in a local hole in the wall joint.
Went in to have a quick bite to eat with some family from out of town. The bartender in there was so rude loud and obnoxious it was unreal. I got a fish and fries meal. I understand greasy bar food but this thing was gross didn't even seem like it was cooked all the way through. Slimy with grease. I won't be coming back. Crazy it was featured on the TV show and so terrible in person. Potterville can keep it's local watering hole.
We had a craving for Joe's but have moved out of the area so we decided to take a last minute trip over. We checked online and it said they were open until 11pm. We drove 30 mins to get there, walked in at 9:09, and the staff said "kitchen's closed". I checked the sign on the door and it said they were open until 11pm too! So either the kitchen closes 2 hours earlier than the restaurant or they just decided they weren't busy so they would close early. Not happy!
