Absolutely beautiful setting for a post-covid-19 outing! Perfect weather allowed us to enjoy the incredible outdoor gardens, must be seen to appreciate! Staff is so friendly, and great attention to detail so that everyone feels safe and can enjoy a nice evening. Food was authentic, freshly prepared and delicious. Our server, Claudia, was great! Wait was minimal but was noticably longer when we left, get there before 4:30 to avoid a line... A truly Texas tradition, not to be missed!

My family and I have frequented this establishment since the 1970s. Once upon a time you entered through the kitchen and the original building was supported by railroad ties!! A lot has changed over the years but the one thing that has remained constant is the service and EXCELLENT food (just order the dinner #1). One warning they are cash only but there is a ATM on the premises.

The place looks great and the atmosphere is perfect. But the food is horrible. If you can t make beans and rice then the rest doesn t matter. I swear I think they must be opening cans of beans and frozen bags of rice you heat up in the microwave. Probably the worst tasting Mexican food I have come across. This is marked off the return list.

As a first time visitor I was really caught off guard by the very long line of waiting patrons. My party of 12 didn't have to wait very long because there was a table ready for a party our size, so we were brought to the front of the line, which was nice ...I must say other than the gorgeous atmosphere, you really arent missing out at all. There are literally only 2 choices of plates, chicken/beef fajitas and tacos w/ an enchilada. Margaritas are flavorless with no kick to them ( i tried the lime and strawberry). Also, if going with a large party be prepared to bring out the calculators because they WILL NOT separate tabs...My point: I will NOT be visiting again; spare your time and taste buds; TAKE CASH!!

Went to Joe T.'s for the Fort Worth PPA'S Christmas party. The restaurant is a very eclectic gathering of rooms and courtyards. We were in a meeting room separate from the rest of the diners so we were able to talk and socialize across the room without worry. The food was good. It was a pre ordered meal for all rather than individual orders from a menu. That said, it all seemed to be well prepared and tasty. All in all a good experience!

Went here for the first time last night. Service was great, atmosphere was great, food was good, margaritas were small and expensive. I gave a 3 because it's 2020 and they still only take cash and checks (yes they take CHECKS). Living in Texas and the DFW area there are tons of Tex-Mex places with great patios that offer more than 2 options and are just as good for less money. I thought for sure when you only offer 2 options the food would be outstanding and while it wasn't bad by any means it didn't knock my socks off. If you've never been go simply for the experience but I doubt I will going here again for $19 Fajitas, $3 extra for Sour cream and cheese, $9 for a margarita in a small plastic cup.

Over rated. Food was not good. Way over priced. $30 for a pitcher of nasty margaritas. They have fans but then they shut off. Cash only. One check per table. Should consider cards and splitting checks because basically three of us paid for all ten. That's not their fault but this place is not that great. Fajitas were cold and almost no meat. Waitress was friendly and hard working though. Not worth it if you ask me.

Some of the worst Mexican food ever. What's even worse is people travel here ND think this is representative of real Mexican/tex-mex. The fajitas taste like the meat was boiled then griddled.

The outdoor patio is nice and that is the only good thing that I can say about this restaurant. The food was simple, bland and very disappointing. Then when I received my check I got a nice surprise that they only take cash or personal checks ... no credit. Break out your ATM card and be ready to pay that additional fee for the "convenience" of not being able to use credit. Word of mouth sent me here, but I should have read the other posts before I came ... I would have skipped this place entirely.

Great atmosphere and scenery. Most of the reason people come here. They only have 2 food options. But they also serve you chips when you're seated. I would recommend going during the week. Because it gets very packed during the weekends.

This was the most ignorant place, and I'm pretty sure it's a front for illegal activity. They do not take any credit cards, you have to sit outside, the food is not very good. You can't even split an effing check! This place was pathetic!

Well, we have not been back to this place for a while- 2 years. I know restaurants have been down sizing but we had only 2 choices made in different ways- fajitas and enchiladas. They were both very good but I felt let down somehow.

Amazing experience. Food great, flavorful. Atmosphere is unique and immersive. If your thinking about dining here you absolutely need to make reservations. Lines have been 30 to 50 people long for dinner.

We got there about 12:30. Place was packed, line out the door and down the block. Smelled great, so decided to stay. Grabbed a pitcher of Margaritas to bide the time. 30 minutes later, we were seated at a table. Beautiful courtyard, bustling business, food was fantastic and there was definitely too much. However, with food this good, you want leftovers. Prices were reasonable, service was outstanding.

Too many people, too long of lines, "cash only" for average food at above average pricing. Don't waste your money on the sangria. If you are from out of town, the one time experience might be worth it? Wait a little longer for an outside seat, it is worth the longer wait.

As everyone know, the vibe there is awesome. The food and service were good too, but my party arrived at 4:15 and didn't get a table until 6:00. The wait is usually long, but that was crazy. Will be very reluctant to go back.
