It was my first time coming to Joe T's. I had expected a lot better service. Granted we did come at 10pm even though they closed at 11pm. I believe the time was still reasonable. We were not given menus as we were basically told that you served fajitas and the size of fajitas was good for almost the whole table, enchiladas and tacos which come with rice and beans. I had my 9 year old son who is a little picky when it comes to mexican food, needless to say, he didnt eat anything but chips and queso. And we had random food come up to our table like queso we did not order and chalupa taco shells with baked on queso and jalepenos that we did not order as well. I kept looking at other tables as they looked like they had different foods rather than the fajitas, enchaladas and tacos. Very disappointed in the service for this kind of restaurant.

The beef fajitas were extremely dry, and the chicken fajitas were very bland. The family dinner came out cold and bland. We spoke to the manager about it, and she didn't seem to care. She also said we ate all of our food, yet almost all of it was still on our plates. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know, especially at this price.

If your passing through Ft Worth, Joe T Garcia's is a go-to place. I stopped here on a road trip from Louisiana to Colorado, and this place did not disappoint. The food here is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, and everyone here is so friendly. There was also live music, which added to the experience of eating here. I will definitely come back and eat here sometime soon

We've had no issues. This was our favorite place for fajitas and margaritas until we sat inside. Lady Manager charged us extra for their mistake with the order. A roach came out behind a picture frame behind me and almost landed on the couple at the next table. Manager insisted it was a water bug. Inside was loud and crowded. The staff is courteous but seem stressed by management. It's better during the week if u are a local. The place is not kid/stroller friendly . We were told to rid our strollers if we wanted a high chair by lady manager which we gladly did but not coming here again. Place is over rated.

A Fort Worth institution. Great food. Great margaritas. Amazing atmosphere. Always packed with locals and visitors alike. The patio area is amazing but the line and wait can be really long. Cash only.

Margaritas and atmosphere that's what you come here for. Expect a wait and It's cash only. Take a walk around the premises, beautiful landscaping and multiple water fountains. This place is huge

First, had to wait in line for about 40 mins. Then went to wash my hands in restroom and stepped in a pile of human feces. Then order the enchilads and was brought out an insultingly small portion size compared to the fajitas my friends had ordered. Then the mariachi band would not leave out immediate area. At least an hour of music being blasted right next to us couldn't talk to the people at the table. Unlimited tortia chips tho so that was nice....

If you end up here for whatever reason do not order the enchiladas. The portion for the price was literally insulting

First Time trying out this Place. I wasn't too impress and I Love Mexican Food! Be advise if Going TAKE CASH.. They don't do Debit. They have an ATM machine but if you dont want to be charged for using it, Take Note. There will also be a gentleman asking to take pictures of you and or group for a Price if you want to Purchase Photos. (May Give Complimentary Photo)(CASH AS WELL). Over all This Restaurant has a VERY NICE outdoor Patio with Fountains. I liked that the MOST. Very Spacious and not feeling to Cramped or close to another Party.

After all the praise I've heard about this place, the food was very disappointing. Plus, we were definitely pressured to rush through our meal so they could turn the table. Overall a very disappointing experience and I don't plan to return.

Didnt care for the flavor of the chicken in the fajitas, was heavily marinated to where you couldn't tell it from the beef..rice n chips were good, the meat was so-so..service was very good,in and out quickly.i thought the fajitas were overpriced but it does feed two people

Outdoor patio awesome. Food left a whole lot to be desired. Overall I believe this place is very overrated. Guacamole was nothing special. Cheese enchilada was greasy, and not the good greasy. Fajita s were lacking in that mesquite grilled texture and flavor. Cheese nacho s??? One big tortilla with cheese melted on it. And if you don t have much company to share your meal with, no worries, the flies keep you company throughout your meal.

50 bucks for cheap Mexican food and a breeding ground for flies. Not even the incredible atmosphere could save the experience. Not worth your time or money unless your going just to get drunck or be seen.

The atmosphere is why I come here. Its great! I love the patio and it is huge! The food is your average mexican food, and it is good. They only have two options when you come, enchiladas or the fajitas. You get quite a bit a food and it is very afforadble. The food comes out super fast, but depending on the time you come you could wait an hour or more in line waiting to get in. If you come in the winter be prepared with warm clothes!!

We call to make reservations for a party of 25, we where told we do not make reservations. We get there waited & waited. We had 6 children ages 3 to 14. They where very hungry some of them started to get very cranky the crying started. I asked if the CHILDREN can get some chips while waiting for table availability . We where told they couldn't do that that they where not allowed. I understand the sitting proces but to take in consideration the CHILDREN where hungry they did not care. Finally after waiting for 2 hrs. We where seated. We come to find out through the some of the staff &manager they do take reservations but they are limited on the number of the reservations they can make per day. It is not a family oriented business.

A Fort Worth legend and well worth the accolade. Great food and portions. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and attentive. Whether dining inside or outside in the expansive patio garden it is just a good experience. Large parties easily acomodated, even 100's. A definite special occasion destination, but also suitable as a weekly fine dinner. Worth the wait in busy times but often walk right in and be seated in off peak times.

We enjoyed Joe T.s today. Quick service, good food, fair prices...though I wonder why a Dr. Pepper must cost as much as $3. Was a bit surprised that no menu was handed to us. I guess my cell isn't up to speed about "scanning" a menu at the entrance...but if at age 65, I don't know how to order at a Mexico restaurant without looking at a menu, then call the men in white to take me away to the funny farm. So no big deal.

Went there couple days ago as this was my first visit.....hostess asked us if we were eating inside or patio....it was 100 degrees that day so we ate inside....being this was our first time here that they would have recommended the patio or at least asked us to check it out first....we had dinner inside which consisted of 2 fajita dinners & 2 enchiladas dinners (this is the only entrees they serve)....salsa is really good also....this would be a perfect place to have dinner on the patio when the weather is nice (patio is huge with lots of tables & plants/water features)....our waiter said this restaurant has 3 kitchens & can hold about 1500 people......they only take cash but have several ATMs on the property if you need some cash.

Went on a Friday evening and had no wait which was a surprise! We did not realize the resturant only had 2 menu items which was not a problem but the waiter kinda laughed at us when we asked for a menu but then kindly explained how it worked. The portions are huge so go hungry overall it was tasty and an experience but not sure I would go out of my way to go there again but maybe if I was in the area!
