Stopped by and they were not very friendly.

Joe Escobar Diamonds is a jewelry store and has been a part of the community for years. In the last year I have been into the store several times. Each time I have worked with Patrick D. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to explain things and is extremely patient even with someone such a myself who doesn't know the first thing about precious stones and jewelry. I highly recommend Escobar for all of their services and Patrick in particular.

High end jeweler and authorized Rolex dealer. Great customer service! If you live in San Jose, CA they have a great selection of Rolex watches to try on!

Wonderful staff who really seem to care about meeting your needs. No high pressure sales, just quality people in an elegant but comfortable setting. Twice have had watches repaired by their Master Watchmaker and he is amazing!

I have bought several pieces of jewelry, small and large and I always felt appreciated and valued here.

I don t know if I could ask for much better. I came in not knowing anything about this process, and from the get go Patrick helped me through the whole thing without judgment. He made it clear early that he was in it to support and guide me through, and he was transparent throughout.

He actively encouraged me to look at other jewelers and dealers to compare against Escobar s pricing and service, and true to his word there was nobody that came close to the service, price, and quality that I felt at Escobar. After visiting 3 other jewelers, I texted Patrick letting him know that he was right and I drove to Escobar that same day to make sure I got the diamond that he had picked out for me.

I m thrilled with my final product (we did a custom necklace) and Patrick was there every step of the way, accessible by email and text, and made it super easy to work through the process. On the one day I came in and Patrick wasn t available, Eric stepped in and also gave me an amazing experience. I can t recommend Escobar enough.

New to San Jose and needed some help finding something for my wife (20 year anniversary just around the corner), so on a recommendation I stopped into Joe Escobar Diamonds. Beautiful store, amazing selection and probably the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at such an establishment in my 20+ years of being a purchaser of fine jewelry. My wife isn't easy to buy for (whose is right?) but the experience was unexpectedly enjoyable due to the patience and helpfulness of Mark Escobar and his staff. In the end I think I purchased the least expensive item in the entire store, but somehow I left feeling like their most important customer.

The knowledge and expertise runs deep. The store is elegant, the craftsmanship of their pieces is exceptional. We fully trusted Dave to select the perfect diamond that met our wishes and met our budget. My dad was a customer buying diamonds form my mom over 30 years ago. Now my husband and sons trust Dave Escobar to provide the best quality and beautiful selections.

My family has been going to Escobar for years, so when it came time to find an engagement ring I went straight here and got an appointment with Sal Esposito. I gave him a range of criteria and he came back with options and a solid tutorial on what the specs for a diamond actually mean (I'd been researching online before, which doesn't give a solid feel for how something looks). We had planned to check out three other places that day but what I found with Sal was so perfect - and Escobar's team was able to customize the ring for an extra special touch - I put in a deposit to get the ball rolling and after sleeping on it e-mailed back to go ahead.
When the proposal date had to be pushed forward, Sal & Gigi were able to get the ring shipped out to Florida early. Because of a huge blizzard coming in up north, they chose a carrier that could get around the weather and the ring arrived on-time, about 4 hours before I proposed! (She said yes!)

l like the nose rings i get from here I've had no problems so far. The products are excellent.

If you're someone who spends $10,000 on everything this place is a five star if you were someone with half a brain don't take to notice that this place charges luxury price for mere convenience. I'm very upset with him because there appraisal that was supposedly guided and standardized by Gia was inaccurate in their valuation which makes me wonder about their certifications in general. Is it a ethical business to slander a universal valuation grading system to benefit from it respectively. Is it ethical to do so if you assume nobody knows. Diamonds are not that complicated spend an hour reading before you go there

I wanted to share my very positive experience at Joe Escobar Diamonds because they have gone above and beyond what I would have expected.

First, I am from out of town, so I travelled (pre-COVID) to Joe Escobar's to pick out my fiancee's engagement ring and Michael was extremely helpful in explaining the entire diamond buying process and giving me all the information I needed to make an informed purchase.

When I gave my fiancee the ring she was speechless, the overall quality of the diamond and the ring is unmatched. It was a bit large on her finger though so Michael was able to send me spacers right away until we could come back in to have it sized properly. We were able to make it back to San Jose and Matthew helped out my fiancee when she dropped off the ring to have it resized, and she had nothing but good things to say about how friendly everyone was. We came back the next day to pick it up and everyone was extremely nice and super helpful throughout the entire process. 5/5 stars!

Matt was great. I live in Arizona and we were able to discuss details virtually, including 360 videos of engagement rings options. Ultimately, I flew out to make the final purchase in person. Matt had every option we discussed ready to go for a quick and easy transaction. Very professional environment and I was well taken care of!

I had a very positive experience at Joe Escobar diamonds. I lucked out and got the best person to help me find my perfect diamond and help me with a design setting. Michael Escobar was wonderful! His expertise and eye for beauty and quality led to the creation of my beautiful canary diamond ring. I told him what I wanted and he found the perfect diamond for me and matched with the setting. He created the most beautiful ring I'd ever seen!
As a trusted jeweler I brought him my mother's weddings wedding set which she wore faithfully every day for 50 years and needed to be rebuilt. He had the stones replaced with beautiful diamonds and had the setting strength and the band added more gold and made him perfect so I could enjoy them as my mother did.
I gave him my budget and he was good and respectful and sticking with the budget that I had set and recommendations he gave. Michael and Joe Escobar diamonds is truly a trusted establishment and I highly recommend it to anybody at any budget.

Excellent, personalized service in a non-pushy, accommodating ambiance of experts.

Prior to coming to Joe Escobar Diamonds, I went to Tiffany's and had the worst experience. They did not have the patience for all my questions given that I was a novice when it came to diamonds.

At Joe Escobar I was welcomed by everyone and was offered a beverage while I waited every time I came in . I was referred here by numerous friends and was linked up with Matt. He was extremely patient, kind and answered all my questions. I will definitely be purchasing my jewler from here moving forward.

I came here with my fiance to get a engagement ring and I left insulted the guy tried to sell us a ring that we saw at Wal-Mart for 4 times the price hurtful also anyone of brownskin should stay away from this place their extremely racist. Go to kay or zales this place is a joke. We were treated and spoken to as if we were less than human.

Review is for Rolex watch service and also for tennis bracelet and pendant. Excellent service, excellent selection of fantastic watches. Alex, the watch service professional is just the best. Very pleasant to deal with staff and old family business with deep roots in San Jose. Tennis bracelets were fair priced and just beautiful. Pendant was unreal in value and shows very elegant.

If you are looking for quality, value, and knowledgeable help, this is the place to go! You cannot replicate the decades of experience by Escobar diamonds. The prices are fair, unlike Tiffanys where you are paying for the name and blue box. Diamonds are intended to last a lifetime. Everyone has a budget, this is where you will get quality jewelry that you will love for a lifetime!
