Able to close on a Investment Rental Cashout refi ...

Able to close on a Investment Rental Cashout refi with a rebate at 3.125% 15 year fixed conventional. This was for a top client who is self employed. Only needed 1 year tax returns not 2 and 3mo. bank statements. Long turn time on U/W if a refi about 10 days but no one close on program and rate. We funded! Don Nyal - Nexa Mortgage Broker -

One of the most terrible horrifying and nightmares...

One of the most terrible horrifying and nightmares I had with my loan, don't do any jumbo loan with these guys, if your loan officer suggest you them please ask him to move on with someone else, I didn't see the reviews before I work with them but when I read the reviews later, I noticed this is so true, they are so unresponsive, they drag your documents until last minute before your escrow due date and right at the last minute ask you for things that takes you a week at least to get it to them, then you are there with seller agent and escrow and be lucky if you can extend your loan due date, you may loose your premium 3 % that you paid and seller cancel his contract. Be very careful as JMAC do not care at all. I fell into a situation where COVID 19 started right the last two days my escrow was closing, JMAC dragged my documents until the escrow passed, I had terrifying nights not sleeping till morning to get the seller agree extending my loan and don't cancel contract. I was able to do that but then JMAC dragged my file for weeks until the Jumbo loan got canceled due to situation right a day, EXACTLY a day before my loan closes. At night, the staff called my loan officer and said the loan got canceled and we can't close the loan. They could have done all this in 30 days but after 50 days delaying my work till last minute they canceled my loan. I was lucky my loan officer was smart enough to get two loans, and close it. But even then, one of the loans that was with these guys was rated 4 % when the low amount loans were only 3.5 % or even less. We had to continue with them because it would take another month to work with with someone else staring over. Be very careful and don't work with them, or at least read other reviews before you do so and see if you would like to take the risk.

We were going though a refinance with this company...

We were going though a refinance with this company for our home in Texas. I have been a Realtor for 14 yrs and see what my clients go through in the lending process. The good the bad and the ugly. JMAC has delivered the good and definitely delivered amazing customer service! We are greatful to them for going above and beyond. I would recommend them to all that want to get a home loan or refinance! Thank you JMAC!

Horrible horrible company. And now homeless exclamation I lost my lease on my apartment because we were supposed to close for the past 6 weeks I learned Friday afternoon there is no closing and now I no longer have a place to live. Do not trust this company I repeat do not trust this company they are incompetent.

I m surprised to read poor reviews . JMac got me the me lowest interest rate out of 4 other companies I was dealing with. They appear to have the best rates around because they are efficient so don t expect to be hand held , do your research so you understand the process. For me the most important aspect was the bottom line so they met my needs perfectly fine.

Absolutely a horrible company. They take one day ...

Absolutely a horrible company. They take one day to fund purchase loans instead of same day. Had an employee tell me that they don't have enough staff to improve their processes and will not hire anymore. BROKERS BEWARE!!! Do not use this company if you want to keep your customers.

Sent us a very creepy card in the mail with my family photos on it. Our fault for not have our profile pictures locked down, but still very creepy. The cover was a picture of a recently passed relative, which was a little unsettling. Whoever s idea it was to creep on people s social media and put their pictures on a card should be fired lol. Probably the worse fricken idea. Then Mr. Avery Penn thought it was hilarious...

They wouldn t quote me a rate until I delivered them all of my financial documents, only to be quoted a significant higher % rate than other lenders. So this was a complete waste of my time when they told me they had competitive rates. It wasn t my credit score as that is over 800. So they wasted my time with this.

After a rocky start on details, the Refi went very well. I'm a busy man and I work long hours in surgery so simplicity is my goal. My situation was a little more difficult than others but like I said after a rocky start Mike S. got the Refi completed!

I tried to refinance my home, my loan is with jmac. Because my loan amount was below 100,000 they wouldn't do better then 4.5. I'm going with loan depot they are giving me a 15 year loan for 3.0. Don't go jmac they are cold hearted and don't care that you have made every payment on time.

Pretty bad when it comes to refinancing loans. Especially if you are an actor or stunt performer with residual income. Underwriter has no clue what residual income is and refuses to count it as 'income.' No explanation, no 'in writing' this is why...just no, its not income. Even residual income is taxed, on W-2 and recognized by State let alone Federal Government, for whatever unintelligent and unexplained reason they do not. Because of this, they would not approve my refinance. US Bank had no problem with my residual income when approving my first mortgage. So what is going on here? Request WAY too much information. All was provided immediately. 2 years of W-2s, 2 years of Tax Returns, still NOTHING. They continued for 2 months, delaying, asking for more paystubs, more proof, more, more, more. They continued to delay to drive up the per diem interest of the Rate Lock. Shady as hell tactic if you ask me. Definitely skip this business as well as DBA JMAC Lending.

Applied for a home Refi. thru Sol Mortgage which works with JMAC (or is JMAC, not sure the relationship), anyway wasted my time and finally after signing forms, documents, i had to find a different company. Going on 2 months and M.Schmidt asking me to re-sign papers. I paided for appraisal and I make $80k, debit free (zero bills, Credit 719) and owing less then 80% value on homes value Sol Mortgage couldn't get it done. So I called lending tree, rocket mortgage and loan Depot. Thanks for wasting my time!

Just refinanced with JMAC a loan I had with another lender. 3-week process from start to funding was smooth and their document demands were reasonable, especially in a time of financial crisis (May 2020). Rates and costs were reasonable/excellent. They were sticklers for every detail but there's nothing wrong with that.

I really wish I had better things to say about this company. Came as a referral from a friend, and regret following through. Communication was rocky and I was having to do all the follow up. They make assumptions on things you say without clarification. They DO NOT tell you all the documentation you will need up front even though they claim too.
Simple process was drawn out months because they did not request paperwork from me up front and then expected me to provide it at the snap of their fingers.
Had to submit documentation and have my credit ran twice, due to delays in paperwork from them not requesting timely. Was misinformed about closing more than once, was charged fees on my loan that were then 'reimbursed' back to me as checks after closing. Had I not been so worn down by this process and needing to get rid of PMI, I wouldve pulled out of this deal entirely. After closing I keep getting junk mail flyers indicating a relationship to JMAC, and that's how they got my address, plus my loan got transferred to loan care, and their website to make payments is an absolute joke, but that's the only way to avoid ridiculous fees to just pay your mortage to keep your home. Trust the reviews from people saying to stay away, even for simple home loans.
