The work carried out by JM gives the impression that they are actively working to do the least possible and give the least to the customers.

The sound insulation in the apartment is very poor, I hear what the neighbors are talking about in the upstairs and in their own apartments. It feels like my front door is always ajar or that the neighbors are inside my apartment.

JM also chooses the cheapest solution for the extractor fan for the kitchen, it goes together with the rest of the ventilation system, so you never get peace and quiet in the apartment (the periods you do not have to listen to the neighbors). There is constant wind hissing from the extractor fan, regardless of whether it is in the open or closed position, so is the same noise.

The quality of the work is also very poor, giving the impression that JM is pushing the craftsmen on time or using the absolute cheapest craftsmen.

On the final inspection, you get a very bad time to look over the apartment and very poor lighting during the inspection, JM's employees get annoyed if you pick too much on errors and omissions, so you become insecure and stressed and thus overlook a lot. I discovered a lot afterwards that I could find on the inspection, despite the fact that I spent 2 hours instead of the scheduled hour. When I discovered it, it was too late, even though I had not received a single piece of furniture, in good customer service spirit from JM. The apartment looked already used in corners, moldings etc.

The apartments are expensive to buy, but cheap in construction and you get little for your money.
Buy from another developer if you have the choice.

We bought an apartment from JM Norway a little over a year ago. The aftermarket department that was to follow up on all faults and deficiencies in the apartment has been very difficult to get hold of and has given us poor service from the first time we reported faults in the apartment. They do not follow up by the fact that they rarely respond to e-mails or other inquiries and when they first come to correct mistakes, they have sent craftsmen who have not done a proper job and must return. I have taken several days off from work to be home when the craftsmen have been because I have been told in advance that they will be here for several hours, but then it turns out that they will not stay for more than a couple of hours. Got insignificant compensation for all the mistakes that were made, but I did not get this until I said I would take the matter to the consumer council and to the building committee. There are probably many who have had good experiences with JM, but I am at least not happy and will unfortunately not recommend anyone to buy a home from JM.

Impossible to deal with complaints, when they first appear the result is bad after such a cold repair.

I have over time had 10-12 service jobs here, they all have a great lack of understanding of what kind of behavior is okay to represent when working in a large company.

I would discourage anyone from having anything to do with JM.

This is not a one-time event. It is a general experience with those over a period of 1h year.

All they do is apologize and apologize!

Buying a home from JM is a real nightmare!
They supply apartments and common areas with more and more shortcomings.
They slink away and deliver lousy quality to what doesn't seem so good in the building. We have countless examples of short cuts!

They are miserable at following up both in terms of customer service as well as creating mistakes and shortcomings. Expect many inquiries to customer service by phone and e-mail, no or inadequate and muddled response, as well as at least two to three years of nagging! They speculate that you will be exhausted.
Unfortunately, this is not an individual case, as it is with many people who buy housing from them. They hide behind so-called customer surveys, but they are not run after people have been infinite!
Steering away from JM is the best advice!
