JJ Food Service Limited Review

I been using this company for 5 years. Cheap prices but not always good quality. We recieved out of date chicken in the past and when we asked to come and collect the items they refused to credit as we where accused of that was not the chicken that they supplied us. We only got a credit after supplying the cctv footage. This was very distressing experience. In many occasions we recieved fresh vegetables that was bad or off that we had to send back. And the customers service is always terrible. The staff is rude and never helpful. I only shop basics and would not recommend this company and check is not always good. So be very careful what u buy as they misleading in some products and not very helpful when disputing.

Mehmet Ahmetoglu, Yasemin, Kartik, Ilyas Arslan. Michaela, Meziyet, Ildem, Buse, Civan Atta and Mrs Lasota are my favourite workers with their hard work in JJ Head Office. When you need issue to be sorted find one of these people then the job has done for you !

I always shop at JJ Enfield brunch. They have an excellent counter customer service. They are always helpful specially Ms Alexandra. She is a remarkable talent.

Service in Kingston area can become disappointing as customer service lied on me that I won t receive any email for the arrival time and they cancelled my order before my slot expired.

On a differed occasion they also lied on me that the truck changed root and the truck was just few meters away from my shop.

I always receive an arrival time email, but the customer service insisted that this never happens.
If you are a regular customer you know that this is the case. They cancelled my order before even inform me for the arrival time via email.

Of course I do not expect the member of staff to care if the company is loosing money by cancelling my order.

They turn the service only on how works for the drivers and not to facilitate a regular customer that spends enough money during pandemic crisis.
There is no flexibility and not good willingness to serve regular customers.
Even If the prices are good if they don t provide the service correctly to cover customers needs and not drivers pleasure they will loose many more customers and turnover.

i usually order only small amount of item from jj because the quality it not always great but this time it was very bad the pakchoi Vegetables all yellow and the watermelon is crack open. my partner did not check it and let the driver go so I have to call the customer service but it takes ages to manage get through to them.

This might be my last visit to JJ Enfield, a regular visitor throughout the pandemic. At first it was fine but the last few visits inc today has been disappointing.
I went to collect my order and was told that one of the items were not available, the warehouse operative wanted to help and look but when he went to the team leader for advise, the team leader without checking was adiment that this one item was not available and came over to me and turned pointed and the offices upstairs and said it was their fault and they could not do their job correctly.
I moved away and went to customer service desk and asked if they had any duck available (the product that was missing) and the lady behind the counter confirmed they did. I asked her to double check and again she did and confirmed they did have duck in stock.
I paid for the duck again and went back to the collection point, handed over my collection receipt and the lady turned round and said sorry out of stock again without checking, amazed at what is happening I said to the lady to go speak to a manager as I have just paid for this order. 10 / 15 minutes later it was found that they original was in stock altogether and because they could not be bothered to check they tried to palm me off.
Please check all your orders carefully and always go to customer services if any issues or email the business.

In this case unfortunately it was the same team leader in both circumstances.

JJ need to look at retraining as some people will not notice and others are too busy to complain

A update from Yagmur Bomboz a true credit to JJ foods, she listened and digested my complaint and offered a solution. Definitely 5 service from her.

I always use the website to order online all my goods,select that i will collect, and select what time i will arrive.

It literally only takes 5 minutes to arrive at site, pick up my goods that are ready for me at the bay, and drive off.

Brilliant service saving me time.

Dont buy frozen fish 8-16 or 16-32
First stock very old last year dated
Second fish has been frozen and defrosted many times it was very yellow hard and water, this happens when stock is slightly defrosted and frozen again ,we had to bin it as not usable 150 pounds in the bin the fish was geir brand but all there fish same as this happened before with them have jj wondered why the fish sales have dropped

If you want to investigate take a case of 16-32 geir and cook it

Visit the Dagenham branch most days it s a shame but quite a lot of staff extremely rude and unprofessional I ve had numerous issues which I ve reported to the manager but unfortunately nothing has been achieved I ve been called names had finger pointed in my face lied to and shouted at I can only say this reflects on management especially assistant manager mehmet who seems to condone this type of behaviour in my view not suitable for the position he holds I don t normally complain but today again more terrible customer service towards myself I m sure mr Jj never built this company with the unprofessional attitude and a approach that his staff . Have.

Quick service. The guys always go out of their way to get my order. Very pleased.

Be careful when you order for a home delivery. Check every item carefully as often items are missing or a similar item to the one ordered is sent. Take your time and check and don't be rushed by the drivers. Some drivers will drop everything and disappear quickly and when something turns out to be missing or of bad quality, their customer services will simply not respond or give any care to your complaint.

One of their drivers was intentionally not pulling over through a narrow village (& had spaces to do so). Caused gridlock. Several passing places ignored as this got rinsed and repeated all the while he's sat on the wrong side of the road with small-lorry syndrome. While we were all going nowhere I called their "customer services" who weren't interested in the slightest. Must be husband and wife

Friendly service, quick unloading, an exemplary company

Recently purchased 2 gallons of fresh milk and they went off on two days. The box of eggs had many cracked. Some of the fruit I purchased was mouldy. Not happy

They do not know how to talk to people and accuse you of racism if you tell them you will not accept their answer. Its even wotse if you work for them, no breaks on long night shifts and no unsociable hours pay. Managers don't care about employees and then they don't pay you what they owe you.
Avoid this place as a customer and as an employee it is just not worth it.

Edit: firstly, I was not rude I pointed out that we were lied to about payment date and that training was not done properly i.e. handbook made available.
Secondly, I had to use my 'teacher voice' because of the attitude received from your employees numerous times over three different phone calls and being lied to on everyone of those.
Finally, when your manager tells your employees that 'theres a job to do and they will be lucky to get a break' then you are breaking working hours regulations as set by the govt and no-one at jj foods seems to care.

I worked for this company as a driver and i didnt like it. Customer service is non existent and sometimes just rude. This place just wants your money and it cares about nothing else.

Having had a great experience with ordering and collecting from JJ before I ordered again but when I went to collect my items I was informed it was out of stock and I would be refunded. No apology, just you will get a refund. Not good enough, I did not receive an email informing me. BUT I can order it online from the car park to be collected tomorrow?

Blocking a private road and very abusive driver and assistant, who actually came to my car door and didn t let me out! I asked how long he would be obstructing the road and he said 5 minutes , I decided to get out my car and he just pushed my door! It s a private road and you cannot under any circumstances block the road to do deliveries
Lt19 aej reg number for the driver! Should be sacked! Police was even involved!

You don't even deserve 1 star with this customer service. Your reviews are only this good as your asking your staff to tell people to leave 5 star reviews and i know this as i was told to do so as well.

When you make mistakes you need to learn to correct them instead of arguing with your customers. You gave me wrong box of chicken burgers and when i came back to change them for the one i want you reject me as it s not in a box.

Very bad coustomer service,i order twice and they don t deliverd that time,they cancelled my order,when i place my order i told them my restaurant will be colosed they have to call me but they didn t call me at all.then call them regarding this issue no one helped me and every one transferring one another,they said there is no manager or anyone who can help me.They always said they will deliverd tomorrow but it s never happened.
Don t order from them They don t now how to serve the people.

If i could give 0 stars I would.
We are a group of hotels, giving them business for the past 10 years.

When I asked their customer service I got an aggressive tone and been told NO this is the amount you have to order for and we won't change it for anything.
We are in the process of finding a different company who actually appreciates the business they get from regular clients.
