First time visiting, and had about a 30 minute wait time, but it was well worth it!!! Even drive an hour in a half to visit this restaurant. Their food was fantastic! Pricing for the food was not horrible. Very fair pricing. Meant to take a few more pictures of the food, but couldn't hold myself back. This will most definitely be a, must visit again, kind of restaurants! I promise to anyone who has not yet tried this steak house, and may have doubts, don't! It is amazing!

I ordered the filet mignon and bacon wrapped shrimp. Best Shrimp and tender cut! Choose the salad bar because it is the best I've ever had. Great service too!

Very good good at a fair price. Mussels are a musst! Troublesome to eat but worth it! Bacon wrapped shrimp was underwhelming. Still good tho. Bacon!
Jason was wonderful, very attentive and polite. Recommended the best dessert I've had in a while.... Bruleed Cheesecake. Yup. That's a thing.
Sirloin was cooked just as I ordered it and it was delicious. Overall, everything was delicious.
Bathroom sinks are weird. Slab of stone with slight dug out. To shallow I feel. Nice full body mirror tho.
Could have a little less parking space and outdoor seating.

Had the best Filet Mignon of any restaurant that I have tried in Springfield. Salad bar is outstanding, atmosphere is nice and quiet, and the staff is very professional and extremely helpful.
This is now my new home for great food.

Steak was excellent, but baked potato was not. Went for lunch and baked potato was not fluffy. Not sure if it was old & reheated or just sat in warming oven from morning.

Usually good steak and prime rib but last 2 times, prime rib was chewy and sirloin was tough. Usually a clue if difficult slicing with steak knife.

Steak is GREAT,
the salad bar is the best by far.

Sent on a recommendation from a hotel receptionist, we weren't expecting special, but remained open minded. From arrival to departure the whole experience was enjoyable. The too short wait for a table at the bar, manned by people who obviously cared about their restaurant and engaged with you about their favourite stock was delightful. The waiter also delighted in engaging you with a wine tasting, and recommendations. Throughout the meal the service was impeccable, coping well and untroubled with a late change to the order. After the meal a return to the bar for more engagement with the bar tenders. A most unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well done.

Best Steak Filet in Springfield. Spent Thanksgiving with my father here tonight. Our server Jill was amazing. My dad is hard of hearing & she was so patient with him. Made our night very enjoyable. I've been to Jimms Steakhouse many times & the food and service is always consistent. Fantastic employees.

Never left a restaurant and given one star before I even had water. Should be a zero!
The bar area is open seating, however today I was asked to sit at the bar between some other patrons. They didn't want me using a small table. Other tables were open but not cleaned. Never have I been asked to move or made to feel terrible for wanting to eat.

Best steak and service in town... there deserts are amazing and very inexpensive. There staff is extremely friendly.

We had the wonderful Prime Rib French Dip sandwich at Jimm's. Jordan was our very efficient and personable server. The atmosphere was very comfortable and casual. We'll likely return!

Amazing service! We went for the first time on my birthday last night and had such an awesome experience. Definitely a place to dress a little nicer as I felt underdressed, but still wasn't treated any different. Heidi was our server and she went above and beyond the whole time to make our experience magical! Oh and you can't forget about the food... the food was perfect, highly recommended the steak and lobster tail! Mashed potatoes were melt in your mouth good and the mushrooms were to die for! We will definitely be back and have already told our friends.

I have been to Flame several times and have never had anything that wasn't delicious. Oysters, filet with mushrooms, the muffins, the wine, the drinks, the atmosphere are all amazing. Don't let the sticker shock scare you, it's worth every penny!

We received hands down the best service we've ever had at this restaurant! My wife and I go to dinner on the Plaza in Kansas City at least once a month, I changed it up and brought her to Jimms instead.....

Jimm's is easily my favorite restaurant in Springfield. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere, professional and attentive staff, tender and amazing steaks, great salad bar and the chocolate cake is to die for. Each time you get a complimentary wine tasting. It is always a treat to eat at Jimm's.

My family this place and the owner and staff are awesome. We all get the salad bar and a variety of entres and I don't remember ever having any problem or ever having to send anything back. Our FAVORITE!

Great food, service and atmosphere. Felt good walking through those "legendary doors" but our seating (just to right as you walk in) was very drafty each time they opened - just a heads up. Wonderful prime rib (they have raw horseradish too, have to request it from server) and very good Cesar salad (their thinner Cesar dressing was great!). Would highly recommend Jimm's for anyone looking for upscale steakhouse with a "non-county boy/girl" vibe like some other places in town... :) we will be back!

We heard this place was good. Chris had mussels for her meal. I had the 12oz prime rib. They have a well stocked salad bar. Adam, our server was excellent. I like that they give you a wine tasting, too.

Its awesome. My wife and I eat there regularly. The peppadew peppers are GREAT.

Judging by the wait time of almost an hour on a Friday night one would think the food at Jimm's is amazing. It is just okay, nothing to rave about. Many of the customers are carry overs from when it was Steak and Ale. Gave up on waiting the last time I was there and went across the street to Avanzare, much better food and atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I dine here regularly. We've never once had a bad experience here. The Hawaiian sirloin is incredible! The salad bad really is all that its hyped up to be. I highly recommend this place to anyone for any occasion.

I had the prime rib steak French dip. It is the best I have EVER had (including homemade). I brought the half I could not eat home. The next day I warmed it in a skillet meat down and it was almost as good as the day before. Jennifer was our server and she was excellent too.

The service here is so great. The waiters are so nice its like your 2nd home. And the food is amazing to every little detail. You should really try it.

By far my favorite place ever!

A local favorite. Great menu,fantastic atmosphere the salad bar is really good. They play good music in the background. When I first walked in I felt kind of ignored, I stood and waited politely until finally someone made eye contact. The very polite bartender more than made up for it, and service was great from then on.

Our Server Eric D. was absolutely top notch. Most attentive and thoughtful server that I have ever had the pleasure of dining with. I hope he does the training at this restaurant. Definitely a huge asset to the team at Jimm's Steakhouse. Food is excellent!! Caesar salad is a little different. Dressing kind of tastes like Caesar and Italian dressing blended together. They have a great salad bar so next time I will go with that instead of the Caesar Salad.

Went in search of a gin martini in Springfield recently. Stopped in on a Monday around noon and sat at the bar. Maxi was the bartender and I asked if she could make me a Tanqueray martini, stir don't shake. She said yes and proceeded to mix the cocktail. Noticing that she didn't add vermouth, I asked if she was going to do that and she said "you want vermouth?". Uh...yeah...it's a martini. What resulted was wonderful. Maxi can make a great martini. She also sold me on the rubin sandwich, which was quite tasty. Terrific place when you're searching for a good martini in Springfield, Missouri.

Beat stake in the area!! Great service and fresh food

We had a Dolce Vita Salad and a Dolce Vita home made pasta, the place has tables on the outside and inside, bar, very fresh food, great bread.

I had the ribeye with a loaded baked potato and a trip to the salad bar. The steak was good and flavorful but was a 7 out of 10 in my opinion as far as how I d rank it. The baked potato was fairly small and dry for what I d expect at a place like this, but it was still good and came loaded like I ordered. The salad bar was really good and included lots of veggies, toppings, dressings, and sides. Overall I found it to be a bit pricey for the quality of the meal, but Jimm s has a great intimate atmosphere with its independent smaller room seating and booths. The service was good, the bathrooms were nice and clean, and we didn t have to wait too long to be seated. Jimm s is a solid choice for dinner and drinks in Springfield, MO.
