Sent on a recommendation from a hotel receptionist, we weren't expecting special, but remained open minded. From arrival to departure the whole experience was enjoyable. The too short wait for a table at the bar, manned by people who obviously cared about their restaurant and engaged with you about their favourite stock was delightful. The waiter also delighted in engaging you with a wine tasting, and recommendations. Throughout the meal the service was impeccable, coping well and untroubled with a late change to the order. After the meal a return to the bar for more engagement with the bar tenders. A most unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well done.
