I would rate 10 stars staff was friendly and knew their food. Chef was exceptional, the steaks were perfect and the escargot was amazing, best I've had in very long time price was very reasonable and well worth it. glad its not a chain entity, but if it was Lookout longhorn and outback

You can get prime rib at a good price and the service is constantly superb.

On 11/3, Server Rachael was excellent. The food was prompt, hot and cooked perfecty. I had the Lobster Tail Entree with a Blue Moon served ice cold. She had the Filet Mignon with a Malbec Red. Appetizer, dinner, drinks and dessert were all outstanding. We'll be back for sure. Reservation are advised whereas the entry was packed from the time we arrived at 5:05 til we left.

This place has wonderful food. With not a lot of decent options close to Mercy hospital it is a better option than the cafeteria or fast food!

If you plan on going there, you need to make reservations. They are so busy even during the week. Worth the wait.

Since the seventies I've had the best time at Jimms seen it grow through the years but the food is always been excellent and consistent love the staff it's like going home so maybe it's just me Jiimm treats you like you at his house love me some Jason and Bre.

Ate at the bar, nice atmosphere. Bartenders very friendly and efficient. My prime rib and bake potato was luke warm at best. Brownie dessert was excellent.

The service was great. We loved the ambiance of the place and to top it off, the food was amazing. Will go back.

We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Jimm's Steakhouse! To say we were impressed is a huge understatement. What an amazing place!!!! Our waitress, Amanda, was the so friendly and accommodating. She made sure our night was perfect. We will definitely be back! Hands down best steak I have ever had!

Staff was great, very nice/professional. Food was very just simply not good(fillet and NY strip, Caesar salads baked potatoes, broccoli) especially for $70 for two people with no alcohol purchased. Decor is very dated. Gordon Ramsay would have a conniption at this place. I would recommend Texas Roadhouse or Centerfolds over Jimm's (sorry not sorry)

Loved it for lunch. Very nice entree selection. From door greeting to wait staff, a pleasant experience with generous servings and fast for lunch. We will go back.

They are one of a few places in town where food and service are worthy of tipping and feeling good about it.

We stopped in on March 18, 2017 and it was terrific as always! I have been going to Jimm's since it was Steak N Ale. Jimm has continued the wonderful experience and food from Steak N Ale. While my wife and I moved out of the area 5 years ago, when we visited family in Springfield, Jimm's is always a stop we have to make. The Prime Rib, French Onion Soup, and the Salad Bar are a MUST to try. We love Jimm's and will always make it a stop when in town.

We had a large office Christmas party 14 people, and everything was perfect!!! Wait staff did amazing with such a large group, and the food was nothing short of the reputation that proceeds this visit to Jimm's... thank you from everyone at Xtreme Exteriors !!!

I love this place, everything about just chimed. I think our waitress was a great waitress. Our server was Miranda, she was awesome. She knew everything from the wine to our dessert. We joked and asked her did she come with the building. Her recommendations were great as well. Will be back.

Ridiculously long wait time on a Wednesday evening and even longer wait for food.

The atmosphere was great for a business lunch meeting. Service was top notch and the food was just as good as advertised! Definitely come visit Jimm's for your next fine dining experience.

We accidentally made reservations for an evening they were closing early for the staff holiday party. You would never know it from the service we received. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive for a regular evening but given the party it was even better. Of course the food was great. It was my first time but has come highly recommended. We started with the mushrooms and escargot, continued with for different steaks and took a brownie home. No one had a bad word to say!

Took my husband here for birthday. Service was great. The food was not worth the price. It was not bad but the price didnt measure to quality of other restuarants in that price range. This puts it on the no return list for me if it was cheaper i probably come back but if you are going to charge that much, your food should impress.

First visit and it was outstanding. Our server Chris was great, very professional. The food was top notch. Got there a few minutes early for our reservation and waited at the bar. The bar was very clean and orderly and service was great. Took only a few minutes to be seated and things went great from there. Would Definatley suggest this place for great service, food and ambiance. We are going to make this place our go to for a wonderful dinner. Thanks for the great experience Jim's. Look forward to coming back.

The service was professional and simply fantastic. The food came out quickly and was cooked as I ordered it. The presentation of the meals were elegant.

My filet mignon melted in my mouth. My husband had the Prime Rib he said it was the Best he has had in a long time ! Very Very pleased with our service and meal!! Kuddos from door staff, hostes, servers, bar mixologists, to chefs

The food was cooked perfectly. Our server Jordan was one of the best. We travel a lot but I have to admit this was one of the best steak house we have ever been to. It's a very large restaurant but the noise was low. We felt like the only couple there. Hats off to Jimm's steakhouse and to our server Jordan.

One of the best steaks is Springfield. Always great service and amazing salad bar.

Warning, if you have a party larger than two people on a Friday or Saturday evening CALL AHEAD TO MAKE RESERVATIONS Springfield is starting to figure out what a fabulous place this is...P.S. the bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream is HEAVEN!

Honestly, the service was awesome. They are the reason I gave this 3 stars. They brought it up significantly. The food however was mediocre. Got a rib eye steak and it was so chewy it was difficult to eat and woefully underseasoned. At a self-touted steakhouse that's kind of hard to look past. Drinks good. Salad bar good. Steak.. I'd go almost anywhere else.

I suspect they are spies,at least a bald,unhappy,pain in the ass man at the door-it s a very confidential information if our favorite bartender-waiter is working today,when we came,it appeared he did not,and we had to wait for forever to be seated,so basically he just wasted our time!!!!!!!!!!!!!(also their menu is pretty tiny,nothing special in the menu,the cheese in their average salad-bar became lower quality and the steaks getting worse every time-I guess all of it,including their spy is a conspiracy to chase customers away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Fantastic food always. You cannot have a bad meal here. Staff is very accommodating and motivated. To hey are the BEST of THE BEST.

Service was good, and the spinach artichoke dip was great. But, I went expecting a great steak. I was disappointed. Our table had two of the NY strip steaks. Both were poor cuts with large tendon like strips down the middle. This left a lot of each steak unedible.

Overall it was fine I guess. The best word to describe it is "underwhelming "

It was terrible. We had to order our salad from paper. And they forgot half stuff we ordered. They messed up on 4 salads. My first and last time.

Our food was phenomenal. We had the spinach artichoke dip first and then the smothered chicken. It was all amazing. We did a community dinner with another random couple and it was so fun. Lol

The service was great. Food delicious. The salad bar was fresh and tasty. The steaks were definately the star of the visit. Cooked perfectly and portions were fantastic

Food was OK. Nothing special. Building was way too dark and cramped feeling. You could tell they were trying very hard to have that "upscale" feel but fell a bit short.

Service was good. My steak was cooked well but I think the cut of the meat wasn't that great because although I ordered it Medium Rare it was still very tough and there didn't seem to be much seasoning on the food.

I took my daughter for a smothered chicken dinner it was so delicious!! First time here and the atmosphere is wonderful! It's perfectly suited for enjoying conversations and food in a relaxing area. We also enjoyed the fresh salad bar with our meal and a creme brulee for dessert. Every bite was simply wonderful

I had the salad bar for lunch. Jimm's doesn't have a big salad bar but everything was very fresh. The staff were very friendly.

Such a classy place. Can go for elegant dress up outing or jeans. Great variety salad bar, always fresh. Food is fabulous and alcoholic drinks optional.
