Very nice. Very respectful workers. My case worker took her time was very patient and sweet and caring and understanding. And helped with food parenting classes. Treated my husband and I like we were people.

A bunch of left wingers but they do wonderful work supporting the homeless and less fortunate. Their volunteer process is extremely well organized and effective so if you need to repent these folks can put you to work.

Organized, pleasant volunteers, good to stay in car, load it for you. Easy in and out. Good items

Just about everything that they do has a great aspect. Sometimes you have to do some digging to get to the right people but in the end it's usually worth it.

Amazing non profit!!! I absolutely love the food pantries that they offer.

I feel very blessed to have the support of local agencies. 211 referred me here and I was excited to see such a selection at glance. Depending on the size of your family determines how many points you get. Free produce. Free meat. Free bread. And then you use your points for the other items such as dairy and canned goods. They have Starbucks that donate yogurts and salads and breakfast sandwiches which are super yummy. They also offer other services to include emergency food. Thank you Jewish family services. They have a car program and much more.

Jewish Family Service was a huge help for me and my family for a long period of time. They helped us in many, many ways. I am so grateful for the people that work here. Especially Jan, Alex, Chloe and CAROL (Was The Very Best). God Bless them all for all the help we received!

This community service center the community of all denominations. They have emergency food supply that you can only acquire 4 times a year great place to go for those of low-income families.

Amazing facility with amazing staff and volunteers. I am a volunteer there and greatly enjoy it.

They support the homeless living g in cars by giving them a safe place to park at night.

Very helpful services for people in need of additional resources such as food, counseling, and many other resources once you are in their system and receiving assistance from them.

arrived at six, it was not packed. the service here is better than most. prices were appropriate.

The most friendly organization that really cares about people and help them ... I came from Iraq as a refugee and they helped me and my family very much ... We were introduced to a volunteer family and we became more than friends with them ... They became our family in San Diego .... We love them :)

The people here are amazing! Wonderful place for our dear elders...and those who care and love them.

So far I tried to get help from this place and when I tried to explain why I was there the secretary cut me off in mid sentence and told me to take a seat, in other words shut up and go sit down, when I go sit down I notice the Mexican women get treated like gold.The secretary speaks really nice and sends her to the back to get decent food, I was never given that option, no I was given a bag of canned goods which I cant use because im homeless, now im not a dirty drug addict, im a normal guy with no family my parents are dead, Regal Diez works there and is treated like gold there, her english is not good and if you dont understand her then you are a trouble maker, also if you make it clear to Regal Diez that you cant understand what she is saying she will hang up in your face, then when you tell her supervisor, or try to, they will make it very clear to you that Regal Diez can do what ever she wants, she can be rude, she can with hold info, she can be mean to you if you don't understand her when she attemps to speak english, but she is NEVER in the wrong and her superiors do not want to know and wont even let you explain her terrible behavior to them, to the point were you will be denied any humanitarian help if you insist on letting them know your experience their staff member put you through, even if it means they have to do her job for her by them dealing with you instead of her

Seems like a terrific service organization at a modern, clean place.

This place is amazing! The volunteers and the staff were so kind.

However, if you don't have transportation you'll be in for a long walk from the closest bus stop. I think it's about 0.5 mi

I called back several times after that never picked up the phone again.
Mind you I was calling because my life was being threatened and do not trust American police and government because they are all Masonic anti semetic just like this company.

IAM sure I f I was going to donate a are or two they would have given me the attention respect And integrity.

This is not a true Jewish organization
It's a money hungry not for profit organization

Best place for family services. The staff are very friendly and interactive

The staff provided us with safe parking for one night. Showers, hot , hot water. Very clean excellent service. Could not have been nicer to us. I want to thank the staff manager who took great concern for our welfare and his other members.

I like I like this place the people I no footing too much food for me before my neighbor thank you so much

I am a Proud employee of such a fine compassionate group of people.

I'm Jewish and need mental health services so I contacted JFS. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to pay much. They wanted $20 a visit which I can't afford. Then I spoke to a supervisor that said they could do it for $10 a visit and they do not supply free services. They referred me to a free "clinic" where I have to stand in line and hope they see me. Funny I thought this was the right place to call but all they care about is money.

Outstanding facility. Learned about a variety of their programs and volunteer opportunities.

Very help to the community. They help people with social services. Skills for finding a job, counseling, help with finding child care, etc. Staff is always friendly and kind.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. It was an easy experience picking up diapers from the diaper distribution and food from their food drive. I'm grateful for them.

This is an amazing organization! I wish I would have used their services sooner! I was recommended through 211 because I have food stamps and Medical so I qualified to use their food pantry. They have an amazing market program that can be used monthly which blew me away. I didn't get a chance to use the other services but they provide a lot of assistance.
Fyi- when you go there your firat time you are told to rake a seat. They do this to everyone so dont take it negatively. They will help you, just be patient. Initially you can get emergency food (mostly cans) and juice and make an appointment for their pantry in the back which u can only go to once a month but is an amazing thing they offer. Dont ever expect a quick in and out any time you go but if ur patient they will be able to help you.

Really bogus outfit. DONOT COUNT on them for proper ride ordering ESPECIALLY if you are part of the group (ELDERLY AND SICK JEWS) they are especially created to serve. Our experience with them was hideous to say the least and we want to warn people against using -or trying to use them -for individual rides w/On The Go. FEH - STAY AWAY!!!

The new facility for Jewish Family Services is so nice. It was a treat to go and hear an excellent speaker.

I experienced nothing but helpfulness and utter kindness from the lovely people who worked there. At this point in my life, I ve found myself needing a little help from agencies. The San Diego Food Bank referred me to JFS and I m so thankful!

Do yourself a favor and try this place. This place has an awesome atmosphere.

Hard to get past screening even in dire need.
