Jet Industries, Inc. Review

Jet is contracted by CMI property management group for HVAC at the McCormick Pier condos. Although they cannot fix anything until they have approval, the workman and dispatcher, Stacia, purposefully misled me into thinking they had fixed my heater after taking 6 days to show up. They're just so busy. The workman did not tell me the system needed further approval to actually get fixed when he left. He was contractually required to mislead me into thinking I had heat. These two companies conspire at the consumer's expense. Don't patronize either! Rather than fix the heat they are spending the week deciding who should pay for it; then they'll send Jet back out. Meanwhile, frozen in Portland....

Jet was wonderful. I was very impressed with their service and with the technician who came to our house. Our air conditioner broke over the weekend. We are just a dew days away from a forecasted heat wave. I was really concerned about getting it fixed before that. I called at 7:30 Monday morning. A technican was here at 9:15 and my AC was fixed by 9:30. It was a very professional and friendly experience. Thank you, Jet!

At my job site we have had a tech (Josh Bird) out twice. He is Awesome! He is fast, friendly, and informative!

If I could I'd give it less than one star I would. The cost of your service does not represent what DISH advertises. Paying for a premium service package and receiving 2nd generation equipment is a ripoff. DISH advertises and represents state of the art equipment and services but Jet only provides the basic equipment which was outdated 10 years ago. The cost of the Jet Plan Package I am paying for is higher than what DISH advertises. For the equipment I'm paying for I should be paying less than what Jet charges for their Basic plan. The service I receive from your Company isn't much better than your equipment. When asking your representatives about your service and equipment, there basic answer is, "this is what you get and we have no plans on changing it". Your Internet package is horrendous. I pay for the Premium package so that I can obtain faster Internet speed and when I'm using it, the speed I receive is less than promised in your Basic package.

I am on the board of the Willamette Valley Children s Charity and Jet Industries sought us out and very generously presented us with a $10,000 donation just before Christmas!! It was an incredible gift to our organization that will help us purchase a Cuddle Cot for the Salem Hospital, assist with burial costs, and provide groceries, housecleaning, and other small services to local families suffering the sudden loss of a loved one. We are so grateful for their generosity- it will bless so many lives...

Employees are not knowledgeable at all. Half the crew spent a quarter of the time chatting and smoking on site..

First time to use this company and they were fast and efficient. Employee Josh Bird was professional, shared his knowledge with my brand of heater and able to fix it within 2 hours of my call. There s never a good time for your HVAC to fail especially on a Saturday with a forecast of snow and freezing temperatures this coming week. Thanks Josh for helping me out!

amazing customer service! fast turn around and great prices

Jet absolutely saved us recently! Our ac went out over a really hot weekend and I called Monday morning, they showed up shortly after that and were extremely helpful. Got our ac fixed and we were eating dinner in our nicely cooled house by that night :) super great guys that are really nice there! Great hvac service dept, thank you!!!

I just want to take a few minutes to say how much I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of your tech Taylor (spelling?) with Jet Communications, Salem. I live in Hope Valley Resort in Turner, Oregon and he was out for my initial installation and setup, and then again today to troubleshoot an issue with my connectivity. Taylor really takes ownership and pride in his work and he is diligent in ensuring the customer understands the work he is doing and is left completely satisfied. From the minute he arrives, he conveys true empathy and concern for the customer, as well as an obvious interest in demonstrating company pride. If I didn't know better, I would think he is a stakeholder in the business. He treats the individual customer as if the company's success is valued and appreciated. If this young man were on undercover boss, he would be receiving a promotion as a trainer for the staff company wide. If all of your technicians operate with this amount of professionalism and customer focus, the entire Jet Communications division is to be commended as well. Thanks for an incredibly positive experience!

I went in for an interview with these folks, and thought that I was going to be hired, only to find out that I was beat out by stiff competition. I suspect it was more likely that I was either too old for them, or I was too expensive to hire on. Either way, I will never really know.

This business is getting two stars because their front office staff was so lackluster I wasn't even able to do business with them. To begin with, when I walk into a business prepared to spend money and the first thing I hear from the Blondie behind the counter is "What" I'm not impressed. Then to sit around for the next ten minutes listening to the office girls talk about personal business when you're the only customer onsite waiting is very poor business.

How many thousands of dollars are these weak employees worth to these companies? The world may never know.

Needed a new toilet in one of our bathrooms. Called Wed afternoon and talked with Mike. He advised me on good models to buy and said it would be cheaper for me to buy it. By Thurs afternoon, had our new toilet installed. Installer (think name was Corey) very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. Very happy with plumbing service done by Jet. Already use them for heating and a/c needs.

Jet Industries saved me a ton of money!! I had an estimate from another company for some maintenance work on my heat pump. The estimate seemed high, so I called Jet Industries to get a comparison on the prices for the recommended services. I was amazed at the price difference - more than a thousand dollars difference!!

The very next day a technician from Jet (Josh Bird) came out and did all the repairs. Josh was polite, efficient, thorough and very good at his job! He was very helpful and answered all my questions. Thank you Jet Industries - and thank you Josh! I highly recommend this company!

Great company to work for!!! It's good to work for company that works just as hard for you. All the Foremen and P.Ms I have worked for have been awesome. Good communication, always willing to go the extra mile for you if you put in the work, positive attitudes and always focusing on the solution to a problem never dwelling on that there's a problem.

Worst air bags ever. Dust collection bags tear within a 1/4' of dust. Never buy again

I only go there once a month to pay my rent. I can't really comment on the business itself.

I have used Jet Industries a couple of times and they have always been great. I would highly recommend them.

Andy Nash lead service Tech came to my storage facility and diagnosed the issue with the AC Unit quickly and changed out the parts required to fix the unit. he also diagnosed a noisy electrical relay as well. Other techs were not nearly as knowledgeable regarding the outside units vs the indoor AC units. Thanks again Andy!!!

Excellent quick service. Reliable and responsible. We had another service company tell us we needed new equipment to the tune of $5000.00. Jet came out to double check, repaired our existing equipment for $230.00 because the other company was scamming us. THANK YOU JET!!

Nightmare company to work for. Very much a clique in upper management including keeping and supporting a serial harasser on staff due to his wife being a prominent commercial real estate agent in town . Poor communication to employees and customers alike. Would rather lay off mass amounts of employees to save a buck than keep loyal employees around and pay a fair wage. I worked in the Service Dept for 3 years before they let me go for "restructuring". They are unable to keep good employees due to how they treat/pay them. Family based business means that they only care if you are part of their family or someone they play golf with...so if you name drop the owner Jeff Zeeb, you will probably get a free service!
Also half of the positive reviews on here are employees that were forced to leave positive reviews to boost Jet's already failing reputation. Call around before giving the rich more money.

Are you getting stuff around knowing which way to go

We recently purchased a home and had JET Ind. come out and install a new A.C. unit. Everything from the scheduling to installation and support was more than I expected. Steve and Travis were professional and excellent in every step of the process. I would highly recommend them in the future. Thanks guys!

Waste of time trying to get them to quote my projects.

I recently contracted with Jet Industries Inc. to install an electronic air filter on our HVAC system. I contacted Jet because they were an A rated company and they had installed all the utilities in our new home in 2005.

Their A rating seems inadequate to describe the outstanding service we received. Everyone who came to our home arrived on schedule, neat in appearance, respectful and courteous to us, our home and each other. They arrived well equipped to perform their task in a workman like, efficient manner, exhibiting the highest standards of professionalism expected from senior journeyman master craftsmen. When the technicians identified problems with the original installation, senior management authorized them to stand behind the work of seven years ago. For me, my Jet experience places them alongside greats like Nordstrom s.

We had Jet Industries install our system 24 years ago and was extremely pleased with their service and equipment. When our system needed replacing we returned to Jet Industries for our complete new system due to quality of the equipment and the great service Jet Industries had provided us over the past 24 plus year.

When my furnace stopped working, I called them for repairs. Repair guy was nice enough, but once he determined that the problem was with the chimney (not the furnace itself), he told me that it would cost $500 to rent a lift truck just to get somebody up to my chimney to take a look, and then whatever cost on top of that for whatever repairs actually needed to be done. I told him not a chance, and instead I called Gagles, they sent somebody up that climbed up on the roof with an 8-foot step ladder with no problem, and fixed the issue quickly and easily. Definitely recommend Gagles (and definitely NOT Jet!)

I witnessed several employees in a company truck drinking in a city owned parking lot and harassing maintenance staff of the building who's property they were on.
Your employees reflect on your business and I will not be recommending your company to anyone based on the behavior of your *uniformed* employees.

This company is great to work with. We do business with them often and everyone I've come in contact with has been professional and very friendly. An overall good group of people.

Terrible!!! This company is so unprofessional. I would stay away from them if you can there are PLENTY of other companies out there that will appreciate your business. Employees at this company have bad attitudes and don't understand the concept of customer service. Very dishonest and take advantage of people.

Andy Nash is a rockstar. He came out diagnosed the problem and took care of business. He was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He even explained what the features and benefits of my Coleman furnace were. Without his help, we would have been out in the cold. I called yesterday late afternoon and he was here early afternoon on a Friday. He even called to let me know exactly what time he would be here. In todays economy it is hard to find true professionals, Andy Nash is one of them.

Very professional and helpful staff. Commercial subcontractor with service depts for residential & commercial HVAC, plumbing and electrical. No heat or air in your home or office? Call Jet!

VERY professional service! Cooler went out in our restaurant, they recognized time was imperative, and got us back up aND going fast!
Reasonable price as well.
