My wife and I love this place. We have never had a bad meal or experience here. Went on fathers day, didnt get the waiters name, but he was great. Wish I could name him to give him the credit he deserves.

Only open for breakfast and lunch, so they put a lot of effort into an extensive brunch menu. Excellent quality food and homey atmosphere. A neighborhood gem. Plan for a bit of a wait on Sunday mornings.

Every time I come home from college I visit Jensen's Cafe for breakfast. Their coffee is locally sourced and quite delicious, with unlimited refills of coffee and Fresh Cream to pair. They have stuffed French toast which is seriously amazing stuff, although it's not too friendly to the waistline. There are other healthy options available such as yogurt, fruit, egg dishes. And the serving staff is so friendly.

Busy busy busy. There was a line when we got there and people waiting when we left. They're there for good reason. The service was great and so was the food. They have some extremely delicious syrup that they make inhouse. It tastes like caramel. So good. Definitely going back next time I'm in town.

Great food overall...People on here complain about stupid things! If you want cheap fast food and don't want to wait for really tasty food go to some cheap dinner or McDonald's lol

I've been to Jensen's a few times and it just doesn't live up to my expectations. Their coffee is pretty good and their portions are huge. However, the wait for a table is long and the food is so-so and not worth the price.

This time I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were light and fluffy, but had almost no lemon flavor. The menu stated the were topped with raspberries and blackberries. At Jensen's this apparently means there are five berries on top of the pancakes. That's not a topping; that's a garnish. The Jensen's potatoes are dry and flavorless, although the cheesy potato upgrade is quite tasty. They were a bit onion-y for my wife, but I liked them. The blueberry pancakes were pretty good, but were only offered with Maple syrup. Meh.

There are much better options out there for the price.

My experience with this Cafe was literally okay the food was good but the portions were very small though wait staff was not very attentive and didn't have very great customer service skills either location is small but if you're looking for a quick bite that's not too expensive this wouldn't be a bad place

The receptionist great food great waitress was nothing like we've ever had. We love going to Jensons but our waitress was condescending and could tell she was having a bad day. Plus we do not like to be called honey. She should stop saying that to customers. It made our table feel uncomfortable. As always the giant cinnamon bun was great as well as the food we ordered. We carried on with our conversation and simply did not let her get to us, which also meant we didnt get her name. Tall and slim in stature with long blonde brown hair. I would prefer to never have her again.

Great for "date night" or with kids. Variety menu, inexpensive wine, great steak and seafood, couldn't be better. Parking can be a little far from door, but I think there may be an indoor corridor to a nearby free garage.

We had breakfast for dinner and the food was really good with fairly large portions. The price is a tad high but not unreasonable. Our server was very pleasant as was the other staff. We will be going back in the future. It's usually pretty busy so if you don't want a slight wait go s little off peak times.

Great spot for brunch! Pro tip: if the restaurant has a wait, go around to the bar on the back side, its open seating there. Same great food and service, plus you can catch the game as well.

Great food! Really delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Pancakes are always so fresh, fluffy and HUGE. Jensen's has some of the best food servers and service in Burnsville. Only thing that can be a drag is the waiting time. It can be more than 35 min on a busy day but it is definitely worth the wait.

Biscuits and gravy were fantastic. Have to upgrade to the cheesy hashbrown, they were out of this world. The traditional bloody Mary was good, definitely a good deal. Saw the big bloody mary and definitely will try it next time!

My initial reactions for this restaurant are good. We enjoyed a family dinner. Breakfast is served all day. The maple butter syrup is amazing. My son really liked the pancakes. The fresh made dressings are really awesome too. The children's portions are large. I tried the Philly cheese steak. It was good but it was missing something. My husband's burger was good yet not excellent. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The dessert menu is small. Overall we enjoyed our outing and dinner.

Staff is very nice and eager to please but are unaware of what is in the food. The Bloody Mary mix is not vegan. After some fuss free figuring out with the waitress I got the cafe potatoes and a side of mixed veggies (order without cheese) Like always, I suggest they place a vegan friendly option or two on the menu. There are more and more of us all the time!

Great atmosphere and decor. The fresh squeezed oj, cheesy hashbrowns, and jam were fabulous. Egg scramble was a little on the small side and the poached eggs were over done, however the things mentioned above make up for it and I would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

The potatoes were fresh and seasoned well. And loved the toast! What was disappointing was the distribution of ingredients inside my omelet. I ate half of my omlete before I found the salmon, and then after that was huge blob of cream cheese. Just Wished every bite had the same taste. And sadly they use the premade salmon, so it is INCREDIBLY salty. I liked this place when they first opened but I wont be back unless its just for drinks.

My wife is from Lakeville and we re in the great state of MN twice a year coming from Kissimmee FL, I love this place, great food, the best cup of coffee, and of course nice people.
Call ahead if you can, but if you have to wait it s worth it..

The only bad part is I have nothing in the Orlando area that compares to Jensen s....

See you in September guys!

Burnsville should be so lucky. This hot spot was a favorite of mine & my partners before going vegan. The service was always wonderful & was the reason we always came back despite the long wait to get a seat. You could try anything off the menu and become a fan of it! They have their own syrup & are famous for it for good reason You have to get that and the cheesey hash browns. So fricken bomb. The whip cream is handmade & the fruit is always fresh. The salmon egg scramble dish was my favorite & look at that presentation! Those cooks behind the scenes deserve special praises and raises for the consistent quality dishes they put out. I hope they stay around through this pandemic though my partner & myself won t be back because we re vegans. Maybe someday they will expand the menu with some vegan stuff?! But it s always worth it. Take out was always good too
