I probably hadn't been here since grade school and was so happy we decided to go on a whim to see the new grounds and museum. The entrance and lobby area are very modern looking. You do have to go through a lightened version of airport security to get to the museum, but it's free.

Many of the exhibits are interactive with more traditional ones mixed in. It covers history from the early civilizations of the area up to current day. Obviously a major section dedicated to the building of the arch. Highly recommend a trip here. It was fairly crowded on an overcast Sunday afternoon in Nov.

Parking in the area is tough. Maybe we just didn't know where to go, but we were off-street several blocks away.

Learned a lot about St.Louis. My tour guide, Leo was awesome and helped me learn what a cultural center St.Louis is and other great experiencess in the city, like the City museum and the wonderful architecture in the city.

New grand opening looks great. Very informative look at the west expansion.

Great time allow your self plenty of time to explore. It is so much larger than you think

Great, modern museum underneath the iconic arch. Learn about more Missouri history than you ever wanted!

What a great November day to visit the Arch!! The Arch is very photogenic particularly when the sun reflects in various ways off of it's skin. The only downside is I wish I had more time at the Arch!! Although the Arch website says to purchase gondola tickets ahead of time, since there are so few people visiting, tickets were available at the Arch for timeslots later in the afternoon. Maybe next time!!

I have always wanted to see the arch. It was fantastic. They are doing an amazing job of cleaning and social distancing. Had so much fun!

It's always so beautiful to look at such a delicate yet solid structure that marks St. Louis.

Arch is a must see in St. Louis. It'll be even better when renovations are complete.

If you have never been up to the top of the arch it's amazing. The ride up is just as cool as the sights but be careful and watch your head in the elevator pods!

Very informational. Just recently remodeled. We took the tab to the top of the arch too. Great views. Definitely worth the trip.

Nice warm//cozy facility to explore on these cold winter days. Many signs to read but a sort of limited amount of authentic relics.

Such detail was put into this museum very impressive and FREE! Great displays interactive. Cool for kids & everyone to enjoy.

Nice and cool inside because it was hot outside!

The structure is easy to see in the middle of downtown St. Louis. This is where the historically famous Dred Scott case occurred. The interior is stunning. It is multi-level. The rotunda is beautiful when seen from an upper level. It is a "must see" when visiting St. Louis.

It is totally different from at least 10 years ago but better. There is more room to move around and they added more. Downside need better signs for the entry, apparently nobody looks at the ground for directional arrows.

Cool views from the top! Definitely worth the time.

Outside of the tram being closed, the cost was very good. We learned much about St. Louis and the Lewis,York and Clark expedition up the Missouri River. The museum was a great learning experience.

Feels like stepped into future to visit the past.. building and artifact display is outstanding

The new museum is great! It's got more technology/is more interactive than the old version. Crowds aren't too bad either even though it just recently opened in Summer 2018.

A must if you're in the STL area!

The new facility and design are magnificent! The design and layout are spectacular and we'll thought out! If you have the time, plan on at least an hour, though you can easily spend 2-3 hours just going through the exhibits. The cafe and gift shop are clean and have lots of products. Spoiler: the second you walk into the gift shop you can smell fresh fudge in the back of the shop and it will pull you in! Delicious! First time visitors will be amazed with this monument and if you haven't been here since the redesign, you will be impressed!

Like any NPS parks/museums, too notch . Lots of great information regarding the history of the place and the US western expansion and why the monument was built. Unfortunately we had just less than an hour or so to spend here, you need a few hours to look around properly.

Such a cool place. I didn't know nearly enough before I arrived. Plan to ride the team to the top of the arch. Did you know you could do that? I sure didn't! It so cool and totally worth the reasonable cost. Definitely want to gonna fair free day though so you can enjoy everything outside!

The arch grounds are beautiful. I go there to relax and most of the time its really serene and peaceful. My son was fatally shot May9th and the arch grounds is where I go to be alone and remember him. He was only 13...

Amazing architecture given when it was designed and built! So glad I do not have to take stairs!! Be sure to plan time to see the museum as it is fascinating.

It has a beautiful pond, trees, and walking paths. A good place to just relax.

One of the best monument I have ever seen. You should go visit.

Amazing!!! The tram is very small and cramped but it's only a 4 minute ride to the top so it's not bad. You can see alot from the top. Worth the trip!

Our school Ball was here. The venue was amazing. The museum and new renovations are very nice.

The museum below has been changed around and very modern. Very clean and well lit. I was amazed the entire time. Thank you.

Went as soon as they opened. No line to get a ticket, no line for security, rode in the cart to the top with just my wife. Well worth the $16 for a ticket. The museum is free and very nice. Gift shop is reasonably priced. Will come back. This whole area is beautiful.

Amazing monument! Parking was good. The model miniatures, museum, and cafe were good. The documentary was incredibly engaging and informative. The ride up the arch in the gyroscopic car was unique. Also, the view from the top of the arch was gorgeous.

You can go anytime day or night. The museum is free and I also highly recommend the cruise also.

The park has two ponds and nice walking paths. You can also walk down to the river.

This is the worse example of revisionist history i have ever seen. They have an entire movie premised on white Texans stealing land from Mexicans because they wanted slaves. Ending the movie asking the question was it right for white men to seize Mexican land? This ignores the factual history that these white men outnumbered Mexicans ten to one in the area and they wanted their own government (much like Mexico had declared their independence from spain). It also misses the mark in that only 1 to 2 % of Texans owned slaves and yet it paints it as being their major disagreement. Finally it ignores Mexico starting a war with America, and sullys the brave men who fought and won that war. Why these revisionists only want to target white people (it mentions the term whites on multiple occasions) but not other slave owners in that region (native Americans owned most slaves in texas) is beyond me. The other half of the exibits are about the 1960s, NONE OF IT IS ABOUT JEFFERSON, THE MAN IT WAS BOUGHT TO HONOR

It was really fun walking through with my Son and seeing the history of the American Westward Journey.
