I waited in line to pay for the merchandise that I was going to purchase ( a pair of earrings,and some sport shoes) (over $200.00 worth ) after waiting in a long line I finally made it to the cashier ,then he told me that he could not help me because he did not have the tool to remove the anti theft sensor that was on the shoes that I was buying. This man could have helped me. He could have called someone to bring him the tool he needed.
I left his counter and went to another ,and the line was very long there too so, I left my merchandise on a display. That service was unacceptable and you lost a sale. You need more cashiers & the device to remove shoes in all checkouts ,or at least hire someone with enough common sense to call for help!

First time visiting this location. I was assisted by Ms. Paula Flores a sales associate that provided first class customer service. I was having trouble deciding on what to purchase for my grand daughter's special day. I feel Ms. Flores went above and beyond her call of duty in assisting me. She made me feel valued as a customer. Employees such as Ms. Flores should be valued by their managers. Seems as this kind of customer service is getting harder to come by.
Kudos to Ms. Flores!

JCP has always been a favorite of mine. I love this store. If you're looking for items such as makeup then they have that within Sephora and Urban Decay also Fenty by Rihanna. The store also carries Junior misses women's men's and kids clothing. There is always a sale going on at JCPenneys. You can also buy items out of the store such as home good appliances. The stoves were on sale and they look great with a flat top I believe for $450 GE stove. I love it because mine's works very well and the top burners get hot really quickly. The store also has the best deals during the holiday season so I do highly recommend that everyone check them out.

Only 2 registers open in store. Waited 30 minutes in line

There wasn't anyone to assist me within the bedroom area....terrible..a ghost town..

I dont think anyone works there except cashiers. All the mens jeans are completely out of order took forever to find something i liked. Would reluctantly go back however as i say that im going to go online and buy another pair of the jeans i liked.

We went to get our pictures done. Felt a bit rushed and we were pretty disappointed with the pictures, but the were better than nothing.

Called the salon from 8 until 12:30, no one answered and it kept going back to the automated receptionist. Not even a way to leave a message. After trying other options, I hit 0 and the woman that answered said that the salon doesn't have someone to answer phones every day. If JC Penney's knows that it doesn't have someone to answer the phone, they should at least consider having a way for you to leave a message. She took a message to give to the salon, but I feel like I have little hope of getting a return phone call. Poor customer service.

First time there went with my friend to return. Need more help. With pick up returns needs more assistance yes it was the bomb

I came for one thing but the winter clearance had me spending much more that I intended.

Jcpenny in Cedar Hill SUCKS!! we went to return some items, we had the receipt they were trying to find the original which we had, but no one wanted to help us... the lady that was helping us must have gone on break or something because she took more than 20 min. She never returned.. something else helped us out.. too bad I didn t get her name...

I am giving this JCPENNEY 4 stars due to the excellent customer service! There are two gentlemen who work there one I don't know his name but my receipt says he is Associate #0109 at store 2826! He was so nice and helpful. The other Associate was Charles and he had so many helpful suggestions when I couldn't find what I was looking for! The store was a mess and the selection was sparse but they make you return simply by being polite! They were on the sales floor, at the register and in the stock room working hard!

This location reminds me of Ross. It's never organized. This is the nearest one to me but if I have the time I'll drive to the parks for better service and availability. Only giving them 3 stars because its JCP.

I placed my order before 3 p.m like it stated prior completing my order, I didn't received my confirmation to pick up my order therefore I went to store to follow up with my order. When I called them from the curbside pickup parking lot they said they didn't have an order for me. I went inside to see what was the issue with my order and the ladies at the register weren't able to help me. I ended up canceling my order due to them not having the items I ordered. I understand they are trying to do the curbside for a faster and saver service, however they need to have more accurate inventory in their website. Horrible service I give this store 1 star.

Penny's has become a bit better, prices are a bit high on items that are not on sale, but overall nice stuff

I came home with lots of clothing for my kids. I got lots of sales this past weekend.

Didn't buy anything, hence I didn't leave penniless.

I just stood in line for 30 minutes at 2pm on a Friday. Please Jesus, Save us from this shopping hell! It isn't even Christmas yet, for shame! I asked for a manager. No one showed up....go figure.

One of the worst jcpenney location. Very poor customer service and slow checkout registers... there was only one cashier at the checkout counter and had to wait 35 minutes to pick up an online order...that too by paying 5.99 for online order and pick up in store..ridiculous

Children's dept on Dec 4th .. Was beyond Sad ... Nothing to choose from .. Looked like it was a total mess & you couldn't find ANYTHING ...

Terrible!!! Why is it that no one answers any of the phones at this location? I ve called 27 times to ask a simple question! The salon answered and Sephora answered but transferred me and still no one answered!!

JC Penny has been around along time and is a very good store.It is a great store to go to pick up things you need without the fuss of going to the mall.I like the mall but hat a great place to go on the weekend for you just enjoy.

Placed an order on the 4th that was supposed to be ready for pickup between the 11th-14th. Never got an email saying it was ready. Called the store no answer. Called customer service and was told my order had been there for 5 days but not scanned. Went to the store and was told it was not there. Called customer service again and got a tracking number. Went BACK to the store and gave them the number. Come to find out my order was there all along sitting on a table waiting to be scanned. I see why this place is going out of business.

I placed an order online on May 1st, I didn't know that they use vendors for jewelry items. I have called several times to get the status on my order and each time I received a different response about my order. Then the Rep was telling me I couldn't cancel my order, it was a nightmare.This was my first time ordering with JCPenny online and definitely my last. In the future I will NEVER order again!

Rude employees and wanted to buy a dress but needed a different color..because the color was different it wasn't on sale. Bullcrap..never recommend this place

Customer service was impeccable and the sale was ran very efficiently.

The lines were super long for the online pick up. When will retailers get with the program? The whole reason to shop online is to avoid the line. I really like JC Penny's clothing. Their prices and value are really good. Where they fail is in selection and store presentation. I spent 1hr in the girls shoe section and left without a shoe for my daughter because they didn't have her size in any shoe she liked. On top of that, the kid shoe section was tiny, not much for boys at all.

Always really messy and dirty, but around Christmas it's nearly impossible to find anything. :/
However, I've not had a bad experience with any sales associates. The ones I've met are always very polite and helpful.

They had exactly what I needed and then some. Gently Beauty #440, & Urban Decay.

Myself & my wife went to JC Penney to pick up an online order & as we entered the store we noticed the great sale they were having! We picked up!some items & as we were checking out the associate didn't give us the right clearance price of the merchandise! So we had to wait until he did a price check which caused us to have to wait! But all-n-all the stuff we bought was at a very reasonable price!

They had a great selection of business/ casual wear. It didn't take long to find what I needed. Their sales are always great.

A very nice associate helped me find the only cart that has a place for children in the store. Which was useless cause it didn't have a seatbelt for her. JC Penny you need to invest in new carts for your store some with child seats and some with out. Terrible place

JC Penney (Cedar Hill) has the poorest customer phone service!!!!! I've tried calling several times to check on an order. I keep being transferred to the order department, no answer. The one time someone did answer, she put me on hold for 10 mins. I dialed again and got a recording that the operator was unavailable. This happened three times!!!!! No more pick up at store orders!!!!

There is supposed to be a sale all weekend and the advertised coupons were "all out" when i got thereeven though it is a three day sale. I was told they would have more in the morning. Which is bs. Not even an apology... just matter of fact. WASTE OF MY TIME

Always have nice up to date clothes and accessories, and the prices aren't bad either

Store is so cluttered and no organization. The dressing rooms are filthy and no bench or chair. It took forever to check out with only 2 people ahead of me but salesperson was very nice. The store looks as if it is closing.

Decent prices. They've got a great Disney/Children's section with is a huge plus for me (clothes, toys, bags, figurines, etc)

This jcpenney's has a lot if sales, but they are always crowded and sometimes messy.

My daughter and I were looking for black, blackout drapes. Not only did we find them, they were a great price!

They always have great sales. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they frequently do not have enough cashiers.

This srore location is the most unorganized location I've ever been to. Almost everything was out of its place, clothes were on the ground, toys were scattered. Very few selections on items. And when I approached an associate for help in finding an item they let out a deep sigh and were hesitant in helping. Definitely won't be coming back to this location. I was very disappointed with this store's presentation and poor customer service.

My wife went there for hair products.
They had some rare things she needed.

The ladies working the register and doing hair were personable.

One of my favorite places to shop. I can find clothes that fit me. Especially when it comes to pants. Worthington curvy slim fit pants absolutely work for me. I can find jewelry affordable. There is always a sale or coupon available.

The store is well organized only it takes a long time to collect.

I love their clothes and styles! They also have sizes that fits everyone including tall women such as myself!
