The most crowded and disgusting JCPenny I have ever been in which is sad because I was excited to have a brick and mortar store nearby.
. Excellent service we had a cash register lady that was helping us and she was excellent and her service helping everyone around the store everyone was coming to her she was very courteous and working hard she deserves a raise
I had a good rime shopping around, there are good stuffs, and the staff are helpful and friendly.
Hard time finding size 36 but overall clean store and large selection

I've always thought of J. C. Penny as an expensive store, because they carry high end products. I've just recently learened though, that with the discounts they give you at the register the prices are not that bad for what your getting. Their only problem is they don't have extra people to step away from the register to help you look for what you need.

Not the best JC Penny location. Service is slow, and on more than one occasion I ve placed orders online before 3pm to be picked up in store same day but each time the order isn t ready until the next day. They really drag their behinds when it comes to doing their job.
Ordered pajamas to p/u at store and nice lady left message for me to go to store. I was thinking it would be quick and painless, but when I got into store, store associate could barely tell me where the pickup section was.
I get to back of store and there is two women in front of me---one being helped by two associates behind two cash register, but only one is working.
I have to stand up between merchandise for 30 minutes before getting to the register. When the girl gets my order she throws it down on the counter while it was still in the jcp bag and ask me to "look it over". She could have taken it out the bag and gave it to me.
Im just having any new purchases delivered to me house. They need chairs to wait at order pickup counter.

Waited forever in line to return some items and then was told that I was at the wrong place after being told that I could go to that register so nobody knows what they're doing there just could have been better
Not a lot of people on the floor for general questions. You have to go on a scavenger hunt to find the employees.
Very similar to another department store down the street but way better prices.
I like it but I feel like there's less variety here than at other JCPenney stores. The only downside is that sometimes they only have some registers open and there's always a long line.
No problem finding what I was looking for. Also my return went smoothly. Appear to be shortstaffed but with the pandemic they probably have just the right amount of staff.
My boys are in town for the summer. Took them to pick out a few things.
The deals here are amazing! The store could be cleaned up a bit, though. There's always clothes on the floor, draped over racks, and piled in the fitting rooms. Half the checkouts are never open, so there's always a line, but it's worth the wait to get a new outfit for under $30!

One lady that worked there was not helpful at all,I spoke to her three times and she ignored me,however the lady that was maybe a comanager was very helpful,I will give her an A+,the other lady an F,but it won't stop me from shopping there.
I tried jcpenney online again & sad to say that I used to love this store & the quality service they give. Whenever I called they kept transferring me & hanging up when I had one simple question if I take my debit card & I get hung up on. Then it took me 10 days to get my order when it said it would be ready by the 24th. Now I have presents for my nephews I can't even give them.
Go there only for Sephora but the customer service in Sephora is not all that great i tried to get help but no one could i didn't even get asked if i needed help when i got in.
I liked that I didn't have to go very far to find what I was looking for.
I am giving JCPenney's in Cedar Hills 5 stars I love how y'all have fix to store up it is wonderful please keep up the good work

I like being able to order online and picking up at the store to eliminate paying a shipping charge; however, with my most recent order the staff misplaced my order and had trouble locating it.

Worst Customer Service Ever! Don't waste your time doing online orders at this Location. My order sat unprocessed for 3 days. Called this Location 14 times over a 2 day period. No one ever picked up the phone. And the GM has yet too return my phone.
Contacted them about In home Custom Window service, set up an appointment, took off work and no one showed for the appointment. They did not call to confirm nor did they call to cancel. When I called to confirm, I was confirmed for the day. So I took off work for nothing and sat around the house until 1:45pm completely unable to go in for work. I will not get to take another off day for 90 days. Don't waste your time. Go with a more reputable window coverings company.
I just had to give a shout out to Crystal the assistant manager of this location! She had the hustle the bustle the customer service the genuine essence the holiday love, caring, and concerns! You go Crystal! I was all around the store she was all around the store truly she led great customer service by example! See you soon
Couldn't find any sweaters in men's Dept but had a lot of sales throughout store.
The manager in the mens department was very nice and helpful. She went out of her way to help me.
Some of the associates are no help at all..shoe area..
I appreciate a good sale like the next person, but the clothes are just hanging out of order, it's just a CLUSTER!!!! And forget about finding shoes. Com

I feel they don't have anything not many options to choose from they were short on staff mainly on boys section but they had a little organization.
Never had so many issues with picking up an online order. After receiving confirmation emails to pick up items, store employees at the Cedar Hill location couldn't find them, promised to call me when items were available...never called. I was forced to call customer service 3 times on 3 different ocassions just to get my order in increments. Incompetent and unorganized. My items were there all along. Won't send to their store again.
I saved over $100 dollars on two sets of 100% Cotton queen bed sheets...glad I chose JC Penney.
The only issue I can think of that I have had was when my order had arrived at the store, they never logged it which caused it to be returned and I missed out of receiving items that were a great price.
I really like the store. I appreciate my "go to" person, Aaron..always so helpful. I had a conversation with Willie, in the appliance /mattress department..just good people. Really wish there were more cashiers in the order pick-up area. Love the store.

i love the JCPenney stores within the neighborhoods. This has always been my place for quick go-to needs, but yesterday the store was a mess. i almost want to go back first thing this morning to see if was cleaned overnight. mounds of clothing EVERYWHERE. 80% of the items were either on a table unfolded or on the floor. Really not sure if this is a "customer" problem, or a staffing problem......it was so bad i wonder if adequate staff would even be able to keep up if the customers are really that out of control. The sad part is, if the store closes, we will be complaining that we have to drive to another neighborhood for the same service! VERY SAD SIGHT
