My family loves this place, especially since the addition of the new gym and pool. The prices are very reasonable for families. Highly recommend.

The facility is great. I thought it was supposed to a community center with trust and respect for the community. However, my bag was stolen out of a locker and the staff doesn t seem to interested in trying to help find out what happened. I m not asking them to replace anything, I understand they are not responsible. However, there is someone in the community who feels comfortable going into lockers and taking what is not theirs. This bag had all my swimming gear as I am training for boot camp for the USCG. It s a violating feeling.

The Shames JCC is making a very concerted, considerate effort to keep most operations and programs going during this challenging COVID-19 period. Staff members have shown great patience and dedication and building maintenance has been dealt with remarkably well.

Outdoor cycling was fantastic. Instructor Denise is always amazing.

Just went to pick up our key fobs and have our photos taken. We'll have to find out where to go whem we arrive for the first day of camp this coming Thursday. The new J is squeaky clean and brightly lit with lots of windows and high ceilings. The fitness center, gym and pool are up and running. The cycling room looks ready for workouts but light was off so not sure. The gym has the ability to lower a lot of the basketball hoops for younger players. The pool looks terrific and the locker rooms have nicely sized showers and a sauna. They provide towels. You must wear a swimming cap no matter ow.much hair you have (or don't have), don't love that but understand it. They don't have any spaces to sit and have a snack you've brought with you so sit outside on the grass or on one of the few picnic tables.

I am satisfied that upon discussions with Rabbi Ergas my case has been finally heard and the correct actions have been taken to rectify the situation. The individual who caused the damage to my auto has been permanently denied access to the facilities at the JCC.
The harsh reality that such individuals exist is disheartening. I am hopeful that this unfortunate instance will be the only of its kind and that both the safety of our property and person will be the number one priority.

For an institution that prides itself on the safety of its patrons, I am fairly disappointed by the manner in which an event developed on the premises.
In Aug. 2018 my vehicle was vandalized by one of the patrons of the gym. I ve never met this individual or had any interaction with her. Thankfully the incident was caught on the video surveillance. She has been arrested and charged and I have requested the courts issue an order of protection. Throughout this ordeal, the JCC echelon has been informed of all that transpired. Nothing has been done so far regarding this. The perpetrator is still allowed to frequent the gym even when I am presently there despite the fact that I provided them with a copy of the court order.
I have respectfully requested this individual be denied access to the facility. I have yet to hear from anyone on this matter. It is disheartening to know a system meant to protect the rights of the victim allows for the opposite to happen.

Not a good gym environment. Only good for seniors and children. Your money doesn't matter here they have enough customers

Was only there for a meeting, but the facilities looked fantastic.

The best community around! Offering amazing fitness programs to learning, artistic and spiritual opportunities. The staff: warm, open, fun and hard-working

This JCC's vastly expanded facility is brand-new and the initial glow may wear off at some point. But from all indications the members and enthusiastic staff are off to a really great start. I especially like the look of the juvenile aquatics program.
