Our daughter (age 5) had a SUPERB first summer at camp! She cannot wait to come back next year (and her cousins may join too). For anyone who hasn't taken a tour of the 120 acres of summer bliss, you are in for a treat! Not only is it an AMAZING day camp for kids, our family also LOVED the weekend swim club. We went many, many times to enjoy the gigantic swimming pool, boating on the lake, and walking amongst the trees. An amazing afternoon escape from the city. They have weekday bus pick-up/ drop off right down the street from where we live in Philly; amazingly convenient for working parents!

WORTH the money (love that they offer a financial aid program). My daughter went into the program and didn't want to participate in anything and came out cooking, playing gaga, and (at least) trying sports (sometimes even lookin them). She loved all of the singing and team building exercises and has made some strong friendships. She even asked me to invite some campers to her birthday party! The best part? They work towards inclusion with the Open Hearts, Open Doors program, benefitting all of the campers. Going back for her 3rd summer this upcoming summer!

My 3 kids have grown up at JCC Camps at Medford -- first when we were living in Israel (and came in for the summer) and now that we are living in South Jersey. JCC Camps at Medford is such a welcoming place. My kids didn't know anyone the first summer and they were embraced by the staff, which made their transition smooth. So much so they've wanted to return every year, as both campers and eventuallty staff. This summer will be our fourth! Great selection of activities for a wide range of interests. Sports for athletic kids, art/theater for creative types. The ability to choose your track once you are in 5th grade is a really great option. What I most love about Medford is really a feeling of family, in a humble setting, that still places an emphasis on values, kindness, friendship, and community. Highly recommend.

Have been here for several company picnics. Water activities are fine but everything else seems a bit dated. All in all though if you enjoy water activities the have pools and the lake has floats, boats, etc.

I have been a counselor at the JCC Camps at Medford for the last three summers and have loved every second of it! I unfortunately never had the privilege of being a true camper, but before I joined the staff, I was a counselor in training for half of the summer of 2015. I can not say enough good things about this camp and the effect it has on both its campers and staff! Every weekday for two wonderful months I get the pleasure of boarding a bus full of smiling, laughing, and singing campers. Once we reach camp, I am greeted by the camp s amazing directors and their Disney playlist at the bus yard. From there I walk to my division, where my bunk is waiting to bombard me with questions regarding the day s schedule. Every day is filled with new experiences and continuous fun! I can promise you, there was never a dull moment at the JCC Camps at Medford! My favorite part of working at the JCC Camps at Medford is watching my campers grow emotionally, spiritually, and socially each summer! I myself have become the responsible young adult I am today in a large part thanks to this camp. I have formed amazing friendships with my fellow counselors each summer that continue to last well after the summer comes to an end. In addition, I realized I wished to pursue a career in elementary education as a result of the time I have spent at this camp and the countless memories I have made here (memories I will treasure forever). I am proud to consider the JCC Camps at Medford my second home and I am counting the days until I am able to return (194 days to go)! There is no better camp to send your child to for the summer and there is no better camp to work at than the JCC Camps at Medford!
