I've met some really good friends here and have had some pretty awesome experiences.

We enjoyed the 2018 Power in the Pines Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Airshow. We arrived at about 2pm, so we missed the long lines of people waiting to get through the security checkpoints. But we were in time to see the F-22 Raptor demonstration - awe-inspiring! And the F-22 then flew with a P-51. Very cool.

People are nice, area is kinda boring but clean. They take your friends overseas unnecessarily.

Beautiful area . And the folks who plan events for the Base really love and Support the Families who live there .
They do so much to make it a wonderful place to live.
They really go out of their way to offer FREE Events to the Families .

This is the Base where my father in 1956 first stepped on the United States of America from Spain and from which I have his name engraved since childhood.

Thank you for preserving our freedom, Airmen! We Americans appreciate it.

Grew up here with my father, unbelievable protection and a great place to Become part of our nations military

I was on base to do repair work it really made me feel Proud to see our military doing there jobs . It took me back to when my son was serving. I send a big THANK YOU to all!!

Not my favorite place. Only good thing I can think of that came from here is my daughter.

I like this Air Force Base better than the Hill AFB, since McGuire is much more bigger.

The grounds here are well kept and the base seemed very secure. Very quiet.

Large base, theater, bowling alley, pudgys, Exchange usually has venders selling unique items. Good place to shop.

God Bless America and all the brave service members! Also give them a break, the visitors center staff r great people!

Worked here last summer, it was a great experience. Well-kept, secure, filled with good people.

Well, it's the Air Force and their dumb rules. The worst branch of service!

Poor people live near that base espetialy with kids! Around is so loud! I can imagine how loud inside that base! Planes flight even at evening after 10.

Served there 26 years as for AFBs mcgoo wasn't too bad most of the time

Great personnel and excellent support by everyone I have ever had the pleasure to deal with on every level.

Beautiful base, lots to do on base and in the surrounding area. The base is about 20 minutes from 6 Flags Great Adventure, maybe an hour from Dorney Park, and Hershey Park, & you're about 30-40 minutes from the Jersey shore beaches. Also, the cost of living in the area is very reasonable.

I work at a hospital and needed pt. labs every number I called every person was rude.

Power in the Pines airshow was spectacular! Traffic flow for 2018 was much improved over 2016.

There is absolutely nothing on or around that base. Everything is a good 20 miles away. I am glad I don't have to come around here often.

I was very overwhelmed by my experience today on base. I went to get a Commissary card so that I can do my mom's grocery shopping and the run around that I got was exhausting. I had to take my my 83 year old mother to Fort Dix for this part of the process. Then we had to go to McGuire for other process and then I get to McGuire sit for 45 minutes and find out that they sent me to the wrong department. Just to much for my elderly mother. I didn't have to go through this process last year and I understand that we're going through a pandemic, but too much for our elderly parents. So I feel that you all should come up with a better solution.

The US Air Force is a awesome branch of service ("The" best)! When I travel (I'm retired Air Force), I frequent a military base (preferably an Air Force base) for lodging. I can't complain. They provide security and plenty of amenities (commissary, BX/PX/NEX, fitness center, restaurants, gas station, bowling center, etc...
