This is the kind of Plumbing Company I have been looking for! They came out the same day I called. Their work is excellent. Their prices are very reasonable. They help you to make the best decision while keeping the price in mind. And they clean up after themselves.

We had been having a water pressure problem for at least 5 months but we could live with that. When the hot water disappeared, I knew it had to be fixed. Ended up needing a new water heater. Ali gave me a great deal on the installation and actually got it installed a day early. When I got home, I found out that the water pressure was fixed by the proper installation of the new water heater.

I don't know if you have dealt with many plumbing companies but I have. They could have told me something other than the truth and charged me extra for fixing the water pressure. This company has integrity. If you live in the Houston area and need any kind of plumbing, call them and ask for Ali!

They have restored my faith in plumbers.

I bought a Rheem water heater from Home Depot on Feb 21 of this year. At first the pilot would not stay lit, then it would not light at all. I called the MFG since I had only had it for 1 week and they sent a tech from Jarrar to my house. I would not recommend this company and here is why:

I was told that the tech would be at my house between 12-2 on March
2, 2017. 2:30 rolls around and NO tech. No call, nothing. So I call Jarrar to see what's going on. The person didn't know and had to put me on hold to call the tech. Came back and told me the tech was stuck at the last job (not sure why the tech could not call and let me know that) and would be at my house within the hour.

3:30 rolls around and customer service calls me back and says the tech is on the way and will be at your house in 45 mins. Its already been an hour since the last promised time. I understand things happen and they get caught up but communication is key. But this was not the most upsetting part.

When the tech arrives he doesn't greet me Hi, sorry i am late.... No he yells at me "wheres the part" I say what part. "They told me you had a part for me to install" all the while yelling and aggravated. I say i don't have a part, i have a new water heater that does not work and i was told you were going to tell me why and fix it.

The tech "Stan" is an older guy, probably very experienced but no people skills. He is shuffling around like he is having a hard time walking. My water heater is the attic of a 2nd story house. I am concerned he may not even be able to climb the ladder safely. But i lead on. Once in the attic i walk the path with the least amount of AC ducts and beams in the way. He tries to step over a big duct and almost doesn't make it. Then he tries to step over an area that has 3 big AC ducts wide (i can't even make that leap safely), and i say can you come this way there is less stuff. He yells to me "i have been doing this hmpty some odd years lady" i say excuse me, he yells again. I say look this way has less stuff in the way, is your company going to pay for damages if you fall over the AC stuff. He then says "let me see if another tech can come out instead" I say fine whatever, at this point I am very upset.

This man is in my house, no is getting paid to be in my house to do a job that he is nearly 2 hours late for and is yelling at me. I don't know why but he changed his mind and said let me see whats wrong with your heater. I ask him if he needs more light and he says no. I leave the attic to cool down. Few minutes later and he is done and knows what is wrong. He tells me that these heaters have defective parts a lot (gas valve something) and the part needs to be ordered. Which further makes me upset because the MFG said i had to use their contractor because they already have the parts.

So Stan calls the mfg in front of me and has them order the part. Then Stan tells me since it so late in the day it won't get shipped until tomorrow (Friday). You will have the part Saturday between 9-11. I am on call so if I don't hear from you by 11-12 i will call you and I will make sure your water heater is fixed Saturday.

Here comes Saturday....No parts, No call from Stan.
Here comes Sunday...No Parts, No call from Stan...

Monday, I call the mfg to see what happened and they tell me the part did not even ship until Saturday. They don't know why Stan said that. So i detailed my experience with "Their" contractor. They say they are the only contractor they have in my area. So I removed the water heater and returned it to the store and got a new one so I would not have to deal with these people or Rheem again.

Needless to say I would never recommend this company or use them for anything. Their customer service is terrible, their techs terrible, making false promises. They don't communicate and they don't seem to read notes or make themselves aware of the job they are supposed to be doing. You don't come into a customers house and yell at them. You just don't. I only gave one star because it would not allow me to give 0 stars.

I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but these people deserve this. The reason I give them a 1 star is because zero stars would make it look like I forgot to rate them. They didn't show up two days in a row for an appointment, first day telling there was a mistake in the scheduling and they were actually to come the next day, only to have a no-show again. Then someone calls me an hour after the appointment window saying they just got assigned the job and are an hour away, at which point I just cancel. And their after-hour emergency line is a joke. Left a message initially and they didn't even bother to call back. Good thing it wasn't a serious issue.

Side Note...looks like one of the five star reviews is by a Mr Jarrar himself...wouldn't be surprised if the other two are from employees.

Wonderful and responsive service. Twice in the last year, Jarrar has come within 1 day when we had minor plumbing emergencies. Very reasonable pricing and we had the same tech on both visits. So it didn't feel like a random stranger was coming in the house.

Got quote via e-mail for water heater same day as requested (response was good although I would have preferred actual quote with prices broken down). Water heater installed next day which was great. Service tech (Augustine) was timely and worked steady to replace hot water heater between 2 - 3 hours. He did good, neat work, and was open to suggestions. I have requested a quote for other plumbing services.
