Also food not spectacular -- given this and the extreme popularity of the place (ie there's a wait for 2 by 10.30) might as well go somewhere with better vibe.

Nice place. Food was mixed, pastry basket was nice, biscuits were cold, French toast too soggy in the middle, eggs were very good. Service slow ,coffee took a while and we had to ask where it was. They provided a complimentary dessert for my wife's birthday which was nice gesture and the plate was very nicely decorated with her name and a bday wish

Second to the delicious food (we ordered a basket of banana bread & sweat potato bread, bellini carafe, breakfast sandwiches, and huevos rancheros), the biggest positive takeaway was our server Mohammad.
Three ladies, getting a little drunk, catching up on life (aka talking for wayyy tooooo looong), during Christmas/New Year s eve week... of course it s a busy time for restaurants. We had a reservation, our table was ready right away, and Mohammad did not rush us through bunch at all!

What people witnessed Saturday, June 24th was all over the internet today. A young lady was body shamed by some thug at the hotel. A bouncer I presume. He was saying out loud in front of the crowd that she could "stand to lose a few pounds" Her husband was trying to defend her. My friends husband wanted to get out of there before he took a swing at this idiot. He goes by Theo, but you can find him along with a photo on a ton of reviews by people claiming they have been harassed and mocked by this jerk. So here is what I think. If THE JANE RESTAURANT is not going to fire this guy, there were many witnesses that night. There were people recording the whole thing. GET TOGETHER AND SUE THIS PLACE! THERE ARE YOUNG GIRLS KILLING THEMSELVES FOR BEING BODY SHAMED. IF THIS YOUNG LADY IS NOT SAFE, WE ALL KNOW WHERE TO FIND YOU THEO.

Been here 3 times total so far. Steak is cooked well. Service is nice. Restrooms are clean. Good for parties of all sizes. I got a bigger table for 8 people and it was still fun. Drinks are good too.
