Stayed for three nights. Didn't do any of the lodge sponsored activities (horseback riding, river rafting, biking, etc), but the desk was very helpful providing hiking trail maps. The food in the diner was great. The cottage rooms are old; some updates have been done, but minor things like wobbly lamps and rickety luggage stand still remind you of its age. The baseboard heaters were also difficult to adjust just right - there was no temperature indicated on the control, so we ended up too hot or too cold. Did have a mouse visit us the last night, but when surrounded by nature in a national park I guess that is understandable. Would have been disappointed overall in the accommodations if it weren't for the view. The view of the lake and mountains was amazing from our room!!! ( but most cottages are not so well situated, so choose carefully). Our cottage was on the second floor and had a huge picture window and covered balcony where we could see elk and moose in the distance! The view really made it.
