This place is great lots of room to sit that staff is friendly and quick. We had the local mushroom pizza and pretzel which great. You have to order the pizza. I prefer IPA beers but they have a great selection to choose from

Jack's Abby restaurant makes the score in every way! Funky, Charming, eclectic, and with a terrific chef. Diners eat at long picnic tables. This creates a camaraderie that feels warm and genuine. And who can argue about the beers! Try a for tumbler sampler including IPLs and a Belgian.

The North Italy style pizza beats all local eateries and the seafood specials are always top notch. Tonight, I had soft shell crab on toast. Yummy!

I have only one minor regret: Jack's Abby brews only lagers. Their sister company, Springdale, crafts ales upstairs. At least for now, you can't get the upstairs IPAs inserted into the restaurant samplers on the ground floor.

Excellent European style brewery with delicious lagers & Baltic porters.

The pizza is also very good and a must try.

If you are an IPA haze-boi or BBA Stout smasher then you need to open your mind up if you come here.

I love, love, love Jack's Abbey. Cannot speak highly enough of what they do. Great beer, awesome food and they accommodated my wife and her colleagues for a work event the other day, and everyone enjoyed it. They also support wonderful local causes in the Metro West area!! I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Great brew pub, As if Jacks Abby wasn't unique enough with the exclusive lager angle, they now have the Springdale Ale facility next door offering top shelf Ales. Food is good as well, pizza could be better, but you come here for the beer.

This place is pretty awesome! Only four stars cos I gotta be honest, the wings were WAY too salty but the Brussels sprouts were super delicious, the poutine was tasty, and the Mac n cheese was yummy. Friendly service, great website (both for mobile and computer), and love that they partner with other local places like Red Barn coffee.

This was a class act. I was expecting fine beer but the food was over the top good. I had the limited specialty Kiwi Rising Double IPL (November) and the Mortadella sandwich. Both were surprisingly good, I will definitely return here again. The wait staff is knowledgeable and will help you select a beer that is to your liking. The list of regular and specialty brews is quite large and can be overwhelming but the knowledgeable staff will help with your selection. Also tried the vegan cauliflower entree as a shared appetizer and it was quite tasty.

We have been loving the take-out here. The menu has expanded with the reopening of outdoor seating and everything is delicious. They make a fantastic burger and fries but they also have really good schnitzel, german potato salad, and spaetzle right now.

very neat place on a recent cold cold saturday.....very very busy, which is a good sign, order a beer and find a seat, once seated a waiter will find you for additional orders, beers very good, pretzel app was a disappointment but the rest of the food was enjoyed by everyone, there are really two facilities here, the main one with food and beer and another one , upstairs and down the street a little which is primarily ales and pizzas imported from downstairs, a fun area with bags, and shuffle boards and games, very neat!!!!

Jack's has been on our list forever. We enjoy their beers we buy locally, especially Smoke & Dagger Black Lager and Hoponius Union India Pale Lager and we couldn't wait to see the what the beer hall & kitchen could offer. We were not disappointed. Sure it is chaotic mess of people at tables milling about but everyone was in a good mood. Sure the service was slow at times but everyone was in a good mood! The food was good enough and the beer was fantastic. We will be back. *great place for kids (and their noise)*

You have to get to an on-site tasting to really experience the variety (and energy) of Jack Abby. Pick a flight of brews and dive in. The tasting tenders are very helpful in formulating flights, and the prices for take home brews are very reasonable.

First experience and it was great. Casual date night on a gorgeous day. We had some flights and the pork carnitas pizza. Everything was excellent - especially the pizza. We came for the beer but stayed for the food. We both thought the smoke and dagger was the best thing we tried.

Love this brewery! We visited for the first time in person since Covid and enjoyed our time in the beer garden. I hope the outdoor beer garden will be a permanent feature in the future! Will definitely continue buying their beers at the package store and I'm looking forward to visiting again in person soon.

I'm not a "craft beer " drinker, tend to gravitate towards molson Coors brands. But I have to say, the house lager is a damn fine beer! I've had it on tap at doolins pub in Litchfield, and the 16oz cans. It's very drinkable and tasty. Please get it on tap in more bars soon.

Large selection of beers including brewery exclusives that can't be tried elsewhere. Good food menu with a little something for everyone. Can get crowded on weekends but a fun place to spend some time in a relaxed and jovial atmosphere.

Delicious beers, and a surprising selection of delicious food. Seating is a little uncomfortable, and the service is friendly, but not super attentive. A great place for a casual bite, plenty of children earlier in the night keep it from getting rowdy.

Great selection of beer and great prices. Not a huge food menu, but everything on it is so delicious. It's a great place to meet friends or just pick up a couple of growlers. There's street parking and road parking so I've never run into an issue there.

The beer is very good. The food selection is small but what I had was good. The seating is very simple. Long tables and benches, which means that if you get up, everyone needs to scoot at the same time.

The place is noisy and busy.

Although they have multiple ramps to get in, there isn't really much wheelchair accessible seating. It is either the aforementioned benches or tall tables which mean that your drink is at the level of your nose.

All that said, the sheer quality of the beer there means that I will brave the issues to spend time there with my friends.

If you re looking for a hometown brewery, this is the place. With enough beer brewed on site to keep anybody occupied the whole evening. Wonderful break oven pizza, go with the sausage it pairs perfectly with any of their porters.
Nice gift shop or you can purchase a four pack to take home or some wearable gear

Came here with family and friends to try some beer flights and have some pizza.

PROS:
Tons of seating
Lively atmosphere with a young crowd
Attentive service
Good pizza and food (the mushroom pizza and the pizza with the potatoes on it was great!)
Adorable decor and long tables with first come first serve seat yourself seating

CONS:
Out of the like 5 beers in my flight I disliked all of them and I love craft beer haha
Maybe make some kind of double IPA, the ipa I tried was not great nor any of the others I got. the sours were okay. This place would get a solid 5 if they could up their beer game and make some solid stouts, IPAs and sours!

Great beer and food. Be warned though-- people like to bring small children here. 95% of the time I think it's great, but 5% of the time it can get screechy. Sorry, not anti kids, just telling it like it is.

Horrible experience. I was refused service by a server and the manager because I am from out of state and did not bring my passport with me. I offered two pieces of government issued photo ID, but was told that is not enough - a passport is required. I m in my 30s and have never faced this issue trying to order a beer in Mass or anywhere else. This requirement is not mentioned on the brewery s website, despite its obvious relevance to out of state customers, and was handled poorly by their staff. I wasted my time and money traveling to the brewery - something the manager showed no care or concern about whatsoever. Beyond disappointing.

I'm so glad to have a brewery in Framingham now. Jack's Abby is fantastic. They even use locally grown (New England) ingredients in some of their brews. What makes Jack's Abby unique is they brew lagers versus ales (takes more work actually). Get yourself down to Jack's Abby to buy a growler (or two) and visit the gift shop. They will let you taste the various kinds so you can decide which one you love enough to take home. They actually sell it in bottles at Julio's in Westboro, MA.

It's a beer hall plain and simple. No private tables tables, no reservations, no mile-long wine list, no craft cocktails, and a pretty basic menu. What you will find here is phonomenally good craft beers, fresh locally sourced comfort food, and a staff that is both passionate about beer and about making you feel welcome.

After being disappointed at the wait at another restaurant we found ourselves less than 2 miles away from Jack's Abby. Got some delish potato bacon pizza and an old reliable. Had a flight which was great and tacked on a rotational cider they make in partnerships with a local farm and a hard seltzer that I will be coming back for. Place is def a must visit if you're in the area and enjoy beahhhhh!

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very helpful and the cooking they serve is so fresh and tasty. I am always happy to have a nice meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.
