SunDance at Big White Ski Resort Review

Great location. Rooms are old. Our was a little bit smelly. Don't book anything on 1st floor.

Sundance Resort is a great place to stay during your time on the mountain at Big White.

We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom self contained apartment which had all the amenities you could ask for.

The rooms were clean and cozy with a mountain lodge feel to the decor. The room we were in had a lovely view over the valley and towards the village and bullet chair lift.

The resort has good storage facilities for ski equipment and the resort is ski in ski out. It s not the easiest ski in/out on the mountain but it s also not the hardest to negotiate either.

There are some nice activities to keep you and the kids happy when not hitting the slopes including a swimming pool with waterslide, hot tubs and an activities room with a nice range of games. There is also a cinema room showing daily movies with complimentary pop corn.

The resort is full service including daily housekeeping and an evening turn down service. There is also a resort shuttle which will take you anywhere on the mountain free of charge.

The staff at the resort are all seasonal workers and each and every one that we had an interaction with was wonderful. Always friendly, welcoming and keen to help in any way possible.

We would happily return to this resort in the future. Thanks for a great couple of weeks!!

This was going to be a 5* review like many on here. We had a fabulous week at Big White, staying in a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom, well equipped, spacious, super apartment in Sundance Resorts. Sundance is ideally situated with ski in/ski out from the ski locker room, all the staff were extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful and the heated outdoor swimming pool with water slide and lovely hot tubs were a bonus at the end of a day's skiing. Although we walked into the main village from the apartments it was reassuring to know that there was a free shuttle service provided by Sundance Resort should we have got stuck anywhere.
BUT...Why only 1* you might ask.

Sundance is an exceptional resort and has many advantages. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone!

Everything you need in a ski resort with prime ski in ski out

Awesome. Everyone is so friggin friendly. Location is great. Right beside the bullet chair. We also brought our snow pup who was very welcome. Staff was always offering to help us in some way or another. Highly recommended.

Great location at big white with an easy ski in to the place. A nice outdoor pool for the kids and hot tubs were hot. Very nice. One of the best on the hill. Views of the mountains were a nice bonus.

Beds were lumpy, walls poorly insulated resulting in every noise from the adjoining suite being clearly audible, cleaning staff also didn't do a stellar job.

Gorgeous views from living room and balcony. Spacious unit - washer and dryer incredibly handy. Apre ski hot tub was great .... 10 yr old loved the pool with water slide

Comfortable rooms. Great service. Hot tub is great. The walk to everything is a bit of a bummer, but the shuttle driver is always willing to help out.

Huge 2 bedroom with kitchen was our home.for 4 days in this Wonderful hotel. Our 14 year olds always kept busy from the pool to the spas to the pool table etc. Friendly staff and attention to detail made for a great experience. Ski in ski out completes my checklist!

Wow, what a place. The rooms are fantastic, with a kitchen and lots of space, are finished well, and are very clean. The staff is great and very helpful. And the amenities at this resort are awesome, including a steam room, pool with water slide, pool table, movie room, and more!

We had an amazing stay an to top it off, one of the main lifts are just steps from the back door, and it's the same lift used for mountain biking in the summer! We would definitely recommend.

First time here. Great amenities... Outdoor hot tubs and pool... Games room (pool tables), movie theatre... Dedicated shuttle service. Staff were great. - 1 star for check in/check out times (4pm and 10am) and our bed was very firm so the sleep wasn't restful and it seems like noise travels easily. Huge bonus points for having underground parking that easily fit my truck (7'+)!

Had a great time here with our family. There is an activity center for the kids, nightly arts and crafts (free), heated pool with slide, two spas, fitness Centre, movie theatre and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend

Very nice clean studio room with a fully equipped galley kitchen. Service was great and my girls and us loved the pool and hot tub. The hours of operation of the pool were short however and no ice machine, but the staff promptly brought us some. I even had a chance to do a quick HIIT in their workout room and was sad we didn't get a chance to use their theatre room.

Good view, great maid service, very nice and professional staff and lots to do in the resort and out on the hills.

Ski out is great. Ski in can be hard to miss. Great amenities
