We have used both J&R Medical and 180 Medical for several years before they merged. They were each better apart than they are together now. Were they bought by a bigger third company? I placed my husband's monthly catheter order on Dec 17 by phone and was told they would be delivered by Dec 24. They didn't arrive until Dec 27. On Dec 26 the customer service people said their system showed they weren't supposed to ship until Dec 26, which IS NOT what I had been told on Dec 17. I would have made other arrangements on Dec 17 if that were the case. We ran out of catheters on Dec 26. This is not the service that we used to receive from these people. Can't even call the Houston office directly; now have to go through a national number. This is another case of the bigger a company gets, the worse the service is.

If you are getting catheter orders from J&R medical, make sure you have extras on hand, because you re order will most likely be late. Also make sure you call them and confirm any orders to be shipped and confirm your insurance. I had faith that my order would be shipped when they said, and I am now without catheters having to go out of my way and use money out of my pocket to buy another order of catheters from a medical supply store.
